Everyone was very helpful! The doctor was thorough and had a great sense of humor. The young lady that helped me pick my frames was knowledgeable and patiently listened to all my questions. Great experience!

I was pleased to learn that even though my eyes had not been checked since 2017, that my records for the past 15 years were still available. My visit, as always, was efficient, professional and pleasant. I will continue to place my eye care in their professional hands.

I was a walk-in, arriving just before the store opened. They were able to accommodate me after a short wait, which I really appreciated. Dr. Gordon is excellent; I saw her on my previous visit and would request her again.

My eye doctor was great. However, when I went to get my glasses made next door, They were horrible, including the manager. The staff that interacted with me were rude, unwilling to accommodate my situation, and had the attitude that I deserved no consideration. I am an RN, and my job requires seeing things, especially orders and medications. When I came to order my glasses, I requested o keep my old glasses and give them when I come to pick up my new glasses because I need them to see. However, the staff and particularly the manager, who should know better and direct her staff better, demanded that I give up my glasses if I want to get credit towards the new glasses or pay over $400I for the new glasses if I want to keep my glasses. I tried to explain that my function will be severely limited, but they lacked the empathy to understand this or dont care. I got my old glasses here; however, it will undoubtedly be the last. When I have an opportunity to talk to my friends about my eyeglasses experience, I will not hesitate to let them know how horrible the staff over there is, and avoiding them will be in their best interest. It is sad because I like my eye doctor but have such a low opinion of the rest of the staff that does the glasses.

I had been coming here for two years. All of a sudden Im being told I cant come in without a mask. This office discriminates against anyone who does not wear a mask. It is not YOUR responsibility to make sure people do not get sick...thats insanity. It is definitely not your responsibility to tell ME what to put on my face. Many will not make a fuss because theyre too brainwashed to even put up a fight, but I will let every group Im a part of know, that you do not respect our God given right to breathe in fresh air. If masks prevented viruses, people wouldnt get sick. I guess not every one has common sense

Charged for optical pictures without asking, did not inform me that it was optional. That caused the copay to be $39 more that it should have been and then did not want to fix it. They lost my whole family as a patient. I feel that was a shady business practice. Will look for a place more honest from here on out.

The price is affordable but I am not satisfied to have an eye exam here. They are not enthusiastic, responsive, and helpful. I will not come back there again. I dont like the receptionists behavior (the white woman) when she instructed me to fill in a form and the doctor did not listen and understand me well. Even though I am a foreigner, but it was surely not the first time I met an American doctor in person and I made a complaint like this.

Took way too long, overbooked, was not able to finish the exam due to the long wait to meet with optometrist after the screening. Screening exam was fine but the wait was unacceptable and now I have to go back a second time to finish my daughter’s exam

Very professional and friendly. Thats the best combination. I felt comfortable with the expertise of the examiners and I ended up with a prescription that is absolutely the best I have ever had. I did the Computer Progressives and the transition from computer to reading is hardly noticeable at all. I love them. And no, I dont have a family member who works there. I’ve had 2 eye exams here, and both times I was very pleased. The second time I even noticed the doctor wrote down how to pronounce my last name, which made me feel like a valued customer and person.I would definitely recommend coming here for your eye exam.Only downside is they are at a very busy mall, which is never fun to navigate, however with that said, the customer service of the front desk is beyond 5 stars. While waiting to go back, another customer had called in to get directions. One of the employees talked her through everything on the phone, even telling the customer what lane to be in. This was impressive, and extremely kind.Well done to all employees here.

Only giving a negative review after multiple issues with this office. I will say that the female doctors were kind to my daughter.1. Felt rushed and unwelcome when if took my 12-year-old a long time to figure out how to put contacts in for the first time. We were charged extra for this.2. My daughter lost a contact in her eye several weeks later. After a full evaluation, the Dr. told us that there was NO contact in her eye. I paid the $40.00 and went home. My daughter complained of headaches and blurry vision for an entire week after the visit only to learn that contact had been in her eye the whole time and had moved back into place.3. Front office staff expressed dismay on three separate occasions that I would not leave my 9-year-old in the front office alone and right by the mall entrance. Also, they complained that I went to find my child in the exam room. Very offensive that they think they have a right to try to separate me from my children while at the office.I want my money for the last visit refunded since the contact remained in my childs eye for a week. I cannot recommend this office.

I had a great experience the ladies there get you in and out as fast as they possibly can. Dr Nicole is great! She made sure I was satisfied before leaving. I have been wearing contacts for awhile now but this is for sure the best location I’ve been to. The prices of somethings are high but they do what they can to make it as cost effective as possible and that was truly appreciated. I wish I knew the young ladies name who finished my transaction because she was AWESOME!

First contact with the office staff was professional and timely processing me in for my appointment - only a short wait. Suggest they start sending patient update forms out for completion in advance of arrival to office. Tests were done in a professional manner and technician explained each one. Doctor Nicole Gordon was prompt, thorough, and professional in examination of my eyes. Dr. Gordon and her staff have been consistently customer-focused and pleasant during the several years Ive visited the Crabtree Office for annual exams. I highly recommend Dr. Gordon & the Crabtree office location.

Friendly staff and very open to questions. I also didn’t have vision insurance and paid cash which was extremely reasonable. I love 45 minutes away but will definitely go back to them. Excellent service beginning with from desk until completed with the Doctor. The Doctor was very interested in my eyesight and listen with being rushed. She answered my questions and made me feel that I had her complete attention.

Over the last seven years of being a patient, I have noticed the support and receptionist service has declined significantly. They refuse to answer the telephone to confirm appointments, and treat everyone as if they are walk-in patients and asking them to come back at a later date even when the appointment is scheduled or prearranged in advance. They talk rudely about their customers in the hallway quite loudly for all to hear. This has happened several times in the last seven years as I heard them complaining about other customers while waiting. During my last visit, it was obvious they were talking about me and my son’s appointment. I have no issues with the doctors. It is quite a shame that the support and receptionist staff behave so unprofessionally and rudely snicker, laugh, and have discussions in the hallway or nearby rooms for all to see and hear when behaving this way. They also have had to correct insurance information, and have misquoted pricing.

I really enjoyed my experience at Fox Eye Care (Crabtree Valley Mall). The service was professional and fast. Dr. Gordon was very patient and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I recommend without reservation.

2 Years Later: UpdateI just had my annual appointment with Dr. Gordon and still love this office!They did a great job with all the extra cleaning needed due to COVID and took the time to talk through what has been sanitized in each room I entered. And as always, Dr. Gordon was kind and informative! Still would recommend their office to anyone.Ive been going to Fox Eye Care in Crabtree Mall since I moved to Raleigh in 2016. Dr. Gordon is SO nice and extremely knowledgeable. Even thought she only sees me once a year, she always seems to remember me and makes me feel very welcomed. I also love that the office is in the mall, so if I choose to have my eyes dilated there is plenty for me to do before having to drive home. I would recommend Dr. Gordon to anyone in the area and would probably only leave this office if it were to follow her somewhere new!

I doctor is fabulous. The front staff, not so much. I called for a prescription to be faxed and was told it would be 15 minutes. Still waiting at another eye care center for 40+ minutes for my prescription to be faxed. I called and was on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up and called again. They said they were faxing my prescription now- I am still waiting.

I felt very well taken care of and really appreciate the staffs patience with my lateness (due to crowded parking) as well as working in a contact fitting in their busy schedule. All of the staff were friendly, approachable, and efficient. I am very glad to have found Fox Eye Care to handle all of my vision needs.

You will not find better service at Fox Eye Care Group. These days so many places you are treated like a number, possibly a customer, but at Fox Eye Care group you are treated as a friend. My first time coming here was 2 months ago when my boyfriend needed work done on his glasses. (LensCrafters) He is also a patient of Fox Eye Care. He has terrible vision and we went next door to Fox Eye Care to ask if they could give him a trial pair of his contacts while we wait, since he cannot see. The lady at the front was INCREDIBLY RUDE. She had a nasty unfriendly face and her attitude matched. They wouldnt give him a pair so we sat while we waited instead.The second I came to Fox Eye Care, was for me. I thought Id try them out for my exam. The same lady was sitting at the front and was just as unpleasant as the first time. She was just as rude to my friend who also came for an appointment. The Dr. I saw was nice, but I wont return here just because of how they allow their employees to treat their customers.

This was efficient, thorough, and addressed the needs I had for an update and to get my prescription sunglasses. Everyone was attentive and got me through the routines quickly.

Everyone was polite and professional. The only note I would make is for the contact specialist to not assume people wont be using their insurance. That should be a question they ask up front instead of having to be prodded for it.

Service was not the best. Price on lenses quoted was the most expensive with every single option. No breakdown. I had to ask for it. The reception people were not pleasant. Will not be back.

I called to find out the location in the mall and the young lady just kept saying where Sears used to be, I dont frequent the mall so I had no idea where Sears used to be and I told her this, to no avail. Dr Broza stated that my sight had gotten a little worse. I made a comment about getting old and things falling apart, she never even acknowledged it, just kept writing notes. Rude, impersonal bedside manner. Over at Lens Crafters, the young lady told me that I had stuff on my face. It was the dried up residue from the eye drops. I thought I had dabbed it off, but apparently it still left a stain. You think the doctor or front desk staff could have let me know and/or given me a face wipe??? My family and I will definitely be going to Americas Best next time.

My son has been a patient with this office for a couple of years, but they treat him like a stranger. They do not provide a welcoming feeling, and my son is Autistic so thats important to me. But what do you expect from a mall doctor? I will not be returning or recommending to anyone.

Dr Nicole Gardon of the team was outstanding. Listened, explained and gave me options. Took the time to answer my questions. The price of the exam was fair and it could just walk and get an exam. They also have new technology that make the whole exam go faster. The one heads up is they will just assume you want to get glasses next door so let them know in advance if all you want is the exam. I did get my glasses next door and they are a little price but was good service.It is right in Crabtree mall when you leave Sears on the second floor. On your right.

Ive been coming here since 2010 and have been seeing same provider, Dr. Nicole gordon and she is the reason why I always come back.Shes not only an amazing optometrist but a friend who actually takes the time to hear me and listen to my concerns..I look forward coming in to see her beautiful smile and talk.. I have tried other places and not happy I always come back to see her and didnt mind paying self pay fees when i didnt have insurance. BEST OPTOMETRIST RALEIGH HAS HANDS DOWN!!

I DID NOT GET SEEN!!! other people without appointments came in as WALK INS !! and were seen before me!!! i knew they were walk ins because receptionist asked and i was at my appointment 1 hour prior BY MYSELF no other people were waiting ! i was totally ignored by staff. It was 6:20 and i asked what time i was gonna get seen the receptionist answer was you are the last one ! unacceptable! WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED! I WALKED OUT .I know they dont care about losing 1 customer but i want to let other people know my bad experience
