City Rock was fantastic to work with and their installation is stellar! I went to City Rock to look at stone before I had moved in to a house I was buying. After I moved in (on February 5). I called and said I wanted to install a new counter top in my Master Bath. On February 10th I picked a remnant piece and signed the contract, February 15 they came and measured for the template. Then on February 17, because I live a ways away from their showroom they laid our a template and emailed it to me. I did not like the first layout, so they made adjustments and it was perfect. They installed the new countertop on February 24 and the plumber came and installed the new faucets on the 25th. They were fast and professional and I absolutely love my new countertop!

We hired CityRock to replace our cultured marble bathroom vanity tops with Quartz vanity tops.. We found the sales staff to be most professional and very friendly. They were very patient and quickly answered all of our many questions. The installation crew did a fine job of removing the existing vanity tops and installing the beautiful Quartz vanity tops with new sinks, all with no damage to our bathroom walls.CityRock also arranged for a plumber to reinstall our existing bathroom sink fixtures. I just have my granite installed in my kitchen yesterday, and I love it. Im satisfied with the quality of work. The crew did an excellent job. Time frame wise, it was fast. Price is reasonable. I just bought my first home, which is an older condominium with not so attractive laminate countertops. I nervously decided to take the plunge and go with granite. Being a single woman, I was a little nervous about taking on this project. A friend recommended City Rock and I could not be happier! From picking the granite to the sinks and faucets, Emily was SO helpful and patient along the way. Allyson was always courteous and helpful on the phone. Every employee I worked with has treated me not just like a client but a friend. Cant say enough good things about CityRock! They recently removed a powder room countertop for us and replaced it with granite. They came when they said they were going to, asked me if I wanted to look at the actual piece before it was templated, did their work efficiently, kept my existing (refinished) cabinet pristine, and cleaned up beautifully after they were done. During this whole process, we were treated just as if we were re-doing all the countertops in our house, not just a small job. The price was very competitive and the quality of the granite wonderful. We are so impressed with how the new countertop looks, were considering re-doing our kitchen--and well definitely use CityRock! The process up to the installation went smoothly. Emily was incredibly patient and helpful. The contractors left a huge mess that took me an hour to clean up. They didn’t remove any of my pots, pans, etc from cabinets so they were all covered in debris from the installation. There’s also a chip in the corner that appears to be from incorrect measurements. For the price, and after multiple friends recommending City Rock to me, I expected the job to be more professionally done.

I had new counters installed in my kitchen and 21/2 baths at three different times. These installations have been the easiest projects I have had done to my home by far. Emily, Allyson, and Jodi are interested in your project and care you make the right decisions. The installers in the field are like robots doing their work and are so kind. Had our old kitchen countertops replaced with granite and had a tile backsplash added. This transformed my kitchen. We were very happy with everyone at CityRock (Jody, Allyson, the folks who did the installs). The process was smooth from start to finish. The cost was reasonable and the work was scheduled quickly and completed quickly. The countertops are now the nicest thing in my house. I have already recommended CityRock to someone at work.

I love City Rock! I used a coupon from the Money Mailer and actually got a better price after speaking with Allyson, who was quick to listen and inform me of all they had in stock. I selected the Tiger White Granite and am so pleased with it. Emily came out to measure and finalize the quote and installers were scheduled. My install was bumped up after a cancellation and the installers were here within the time they had set. After 2 hours, they completed take out and install of my new granite countertops and I cannot say enough about how happy I am with the entire experience! Kind of surprised at the negative reviews on here. These guys came recommended by another contractor so I called them up. They did granite counter tops for a kitchen and two bathrooms. They also tiled the wall in the kitchen. The entire process was easy. The guys who came out to measure were very detail oriented, they brought up any potential issues and asked how I would want them handled. Installation was great. I asked them to come back out to run another grout line in one of the bathrooms and they came right out. I will use them again.

Working with Allyson, Jody and Emily at CityRock was very pleasant. After much consideration, we decided to go with quartz countertops for our kitchen. So glad we chose Cambria quartz too! The installation went very well and we are very pleased with the outcome!

We just completed a kitchen renovation and worked with multiple contractors. City Rock replaced our counters, backsplash and kitchen sink. The counters and backsplash look good, but our experience with City Rock was average, at best. They promised a timeline and then changed the dates once we made our initial payment. This resulted in the backsplash being demolished and replaced AFTER the new countertops were installed (exactly the opposite of what we had requested) resulting in damage (albeit small, but notable and not repairable) to the new counters. There were other sloppy mistakes made, which they had to come and repair on follow up visits. Each City Rock contractor or subcontractor who arrived at our house (counter guys, plumber, tile guy) arrived during the last few minutes of a four hour window (much like working with a cable or utilities company) and seemed to work as fast as they could, rushing to the next job. The experience did not feel like a white glove experience, in contrast to the other contractors with whom we worked.

I was extremely disappointed in the service I received from City Rock. I should not have ordered the counter tops and tile when the person who came to measure for the estimate did not bring tile samples like they were supposed to do but, my mistake and I paid the price. They(City Rock) was terrible about getting back up with you when they said they would. I would call and they would tell me they would find out and get back with me only to Never get back. I finally had to get my husband involved. They came and installed the granite. There were several rough spots. I had to call a few times and they sent someone out to smooth it but on most of the spots I was told that it was just in the granite. Definitely not like the sample I was shown in the showroom. The person I viewed the granite with did not do a good job of explaining to me what I was looking for either when reviewing the granite. The person told me I was looking for obvious flaws that I did not want on my counters. Failed to mention all the other inconsistencies. I was also shown the granite in bright sunlight where it is hard to see and pick out the flaws. I was shown two pieces of granite and told that those were my pieces to choose from. My counters required the majority of both pieces. Next the tile. I was shown tile in the show room that I agreed too. When the first tile guy came, he did not have all the right tile. I was then accused by another show room worker that I changed my mind. Not the truth that they did not order the right tile. Then I was told it would take two days for the right tile to come in. Finally, after more than a week we reached someone to set up an appointment. Almost two weeks later than what it was supposed to be installed. They also did the estimate wrong on the tile. Because they were installing it over paneling they needed to use backer board which they failed to include in the original estimate. They tried to talk us out of it but after contacting several people in the tile business we refused if they would not install it correctly.We did not want to have problems down the road. The only positive is that the owner of the tile company came to install the tile because his employee didnt show up. A blessing in disguise. He was very helpful in the placement of the tile so everything would flow correctly. City rock did not was not helpful at all in this regard. I was extremely disappointed in City Rock because they came highly recommended.

What an absolute pleasure to deal with this company! From my first contact, through install and completion, I would recommend CityRock to do the job. We planned on new granite counters and backsplash to replace granite that was originally poorly installed by our builder. Original granite was black with a dark backsplash, so wanted to lighten and brighten, as well as update, the kitchen.Unfortunately, right after choosing our granite, our dishwasher flooded our kitchen, placing our granite install on hold. CityRock was so understanding and easy to deal with. We rescheduled for a later date after all other repairs were completed.Our entire summer was spent dealing with our flood repairs and then the updating of our kitchen with new lighting, new faucet, tearing out high bar on kitchen counter, painting, adding cabinets in the other side of peninsula, and putting glass in 3 upper cabinet doors. None of it has been as easy and problem-free as this granite and backsplash install. Customer service with CityRock was topnotch.CityRock installers were professional, clean, on time and fast. They were meticulous during install and did such a great job cleaning up when complete.

Thank you Cityrock for another job well done! We first worked with them in 2013 when we had granite installed for our outdoor kitchen. This time around we had granite and marble installed in our kitchen, butlers pantry and first floor bath. Working with Emily was great, she gave us good ideas and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Allyson was super friendly and excited for us every time we spoke and Marium and his crew were very professional, cognizant of our new hardwood floors and kept the mess to an extreme minimum. I would highly recommend Cityrock for all your stone needs. We will be back for our next project in our master bath.

Cityrock rocked!!!!!! From the moment I met each staff member it was a great experience. Marco came to do the estimate. He was very upbeat and positive. Jody and Allyson were like my own private interior decorators. I needed guidance and they were there from the beginning to the end. They were as excited as me for this project. I picked something I absolutely love and would use them again without looking at anyone else and would choose the same countertops again for sure. We recently used CityRock for our kitchen granite countertops and tile backsplash installation. Starting with Emily, then Allyson and then their installation teams, we had a very good overall experience. From the showroom and granite approval (Emily) to the scheduling and follow-up (Allyson) to the granite installers and backsplash installation, we were very pleased with the customer service, follow-up, timeliness and professionalism. We wanted to update the kitchen and the price/service was well worth it. Customer Service seems to lack today in many businesses, but not with CityRock. I want to thank City Rock’s personnel for the beautiful craftsmanship in my new granite countertops.From my first phone call with Allyson to Emily coming and taking measurements to Marlin coming to measure for the template. I can’t express the professionalism and the care each one of these people took with the importance of getting this installation done.Allyson being the first person you contact at City Rock made my decision to go ahead with this project. She was warm, caring and very understanding at what needed to happen and she made sure that all personnel understood my requests. Emily was a sheer joy to work with when she came to the house to do the initial measuring and help me get the most effective color to put with my cabinets and floors. It was very important that the granite had to be a neutral color as to flow with the existing décor. She nailed it. Marlin was a pleasure to work with and understood what exceptions needed to be taken to make the granite fit in my kitchen. His template was spot on. Once the granite was installed I could not believe how it fit like a glove. He’s an expert at what he does and his crew also were polite and respectful in my home.To sum my experience up with this entire project I’d say kudos to all involved. Top notch people to work with and I’d recommend them to everyone who needs new countertops. You won’t be disappointed with the end results.

We recently downsized from a single family home to a condo. We love it, but the kitchen was a little tired. After getting (or attempting to get) estimates from several companies, we hired CityRock to make our new little home as nice as our old one was, and they really came through. Everyone was so kind and helpful and responsive. Honestly, CityRock actually had our countertops and backsplash installed before we got callbacks from a couple of the companies that we had contacted to request estimates for the job?We had already selected the backsplash, and CityRock helped us find the right quartz countertop. We could have done it for less by choosing granite, but we wanted quartz! They also sent a contractor to install the backsplash for us. Everything went very well! No glitches whatsoever. We are very happy with the results, and everyone who sees the kitchen loves it too. Thanks, CityRock.

Didnt like the results of the granite we waited a month for. Measurements were not correct and it ended up looking like an un- professional installation.The installer also dragged my refrigerator sideways, which I cannot believe he didnt know the wheels go back and forth, not sideways. He put a ten inch gash in my new hardwood floors.They gave me a small discount since I fussed and didnt want them to redo any of it. Wanted to be done with them.

I did not have a great experience with city rock. I used Jody as the sales person and at first she was extremely helpful helping me pick out quartz countertops, a new sink and backsplash. Things went downhill once I signed the contract. Jody showed up 30 minutes late to our appt to pick out the slab. Not a huge deal, things happen. On installation day, there were a couple of issues. The countertop installers stripped the on/off water valve under my sink when they disconnected the existing faucet. It left a leak of water dripping under my sink. Fortunately, the plumber was scheduled later in the afternoon. The countertop installation guy put a pan under the leak as a temporary fix. I checked a couple of hours later and the pan was not catching all the water. So I mopped up the water at the bottom of my cabinet and turned off the water to the house until the plumbers showed up to connect the existing faucet and fix the water valve. When the plumbers showed up they were able to fix the water valve however the existing faucet did not work because the new countertop was too thick and the faucet threads were too short. (The folks who came to measure and design the new countertops missed this on their inspection) The plumbers told me that city rock should be responsible for the cost of fixing the water valve and the bottom of the cabinet since they stripped my valve. The plumbers left with the faucet disconnected. I ran out to Lowe’s that night and picked out a new faucet that would work. I called Jodi in the morning to talk about the leak and reschedule the plumber to reconnect the faucet. She pushed back saying I was accountable for the cost of the stripped valve and the cabinet bottom. I then asked to speak to the owner and she said ok. The owner did not call me but I did receive an email from Jody in the early afternoon saying they would cover the cost of the stripped valve and would reschedule the plumber but did not have a way to fix my cabinet. I said that was fine. The backsplash installer came and installed the backsplash tile that day as well. He ended up installing two cracked tile in my backsplash & left my kitchen a mess. I spent 20 minutes sweeping the floor and scrubbing grout off of the kitchen counters and door handles. The backsplash installer also accidentally leaned up against my dishwasher and started it while my faucet was still disconnected. Flooded my sink cabinet much worse this time. Pretty frustrating. At the end of the day, I still had not heard back from Jodi on when the plumber was coming back to reconnect the faucet. I finally fired her from handling the plumber and dealt with it myself. She took the plumber cost off my bill, added $100 good will discount and sent me the invoice. Upon reviewing the invoice, I realized she sent me the wrong bill which was $700 more expensive than mine. I resent Jodi the contract I had signed. She sent me the corrected invoice which I paid. After that, I called three times and spoke to three different sales people in which I asked to speak to the owner. I wanted to provide feedback on my experience with the installation. The owner never called me back. Overall, I was mostly happy with final product (countertops, backsplash and sink- minus a couple of cracked backsplash tiles) but the installation experience was pretty awful and I had to handle / fix most of the issues myself.

Never again. The savings isnt worth the compromise in craftsmanship.Wed used a different granite company for a larger job, but decided to take a chance with CityRock for a double vanity because the prices were so much lower. Big mistake. Its a very straightforward job - double sink rectangular vanity but they couldnt even get that right. They didnt create an actual template, only pulled a few measurements but assured us this was sufficient for a small job. Wrong. The sink cutouts werent even close to correct. They cut the frame of a very expensive vanity to make it fit and now Im concerned about the structural integrity of the whole thing.The backsplash along the back wall is only 67 long but somehow they couldnt make this from one piece. Shoddy two pieces with a seam in the middle. Really? Cant find a solid 4 x 67 piece?Large gaps in the silicone along the wall. To be fair, the wall isnt perfectly straight (maybe 1/4 along length of countertop), but were not talking about subtle imperfections.Walls damaged in several places. Certainly I expected a few touch ups, but this will require several coats of mud before I can touch up with paint.Showed up late, didnt template correctly, left a mess. Never again. I couldve done a better job with a chisel and hammer. Its worth a few hundred bucks extra to go with a professional company. Truly the Walmart of countertop fabricators.

Very unpleasant experience. The employee actually became angry when I wanted to shop by price. Bait and switch estimate. Also, I saved over $1000 on my 50 square feet of quartz by going to a big box store (identical product), and 10 days install time....

3.5. Plus for pricing, communication, willingness to fix the problem.Minus for initial install. Inaccuracy of measurements, re drilling of off-center faucet hole. We lost income due to a second day off work to fix install with no discount offered.
