My go to choice for donuts! They are the best of the best for a local bakery! Every Friday we get a dozen and they never disappoint with the quality. Personally, I recommend the chocolate frosted or marble! They have a wide variety of donuts for customers to choose from, so there is something for everyone. Their muffins are incredible too! The staff are incredible and I have zero complaints about their ability to build a welcoming environment for customers.

I tried them for the first time today, they are one of the worst Tasting Doughnuts I’ve ever had. They tasted very Yeasty. Even the Kids didn’t eat them. I’ll never go Back.

Daylight donuts is in a word - iconic. I’ve never had a bad donut or pastry there. In fact, my favorite old fashioned donut is the daylight version. The coffee is a fine addition as well.I’d recommend getting there early if you want the most selection and the freshest donuts. Highly recommend!

Super friendly place and people, but with the popularity they have it’s expected that they would constantly have donuts throughout the day. There have been multiple times when I show up at 9 am and there’s nothing. I went today for mother’s day at 10 and there was only a couple left. While i understand they are busy i would’ve assumed they would make more donuts instead of selling what they have left.

Rude owner who treated my gf like she was doing something wrong simply because she had to use the restroom. It’s not a crime for someone to use the restroom before they make a purchase. Happens all the time. Have some compassion and decency.

Such a great place to grab sweets! Friendly workers and they always have something no matter what your taste may be. They even rotate the muffin menu so you could actually get something different every day of the week.My favorite is the apple fritter (larger circle shaped pastry in photo). Like all their doughnuts, its not sickeningly sweet. The apples are super soft and the fritter itself is crispy around the edges. Absolutely perfect! The pinecone (bug puffy one) is my Mummys favorite!

I came at 11 and they close in at hour. Inventory was low so you know that people come early and clean them out. I got a pumpkin spice donut that was perfect and the most amazing blueberry muffin. Soft and fluffy inside and a firm top. Both were so so good. Come try them even if it’s a late breakfast, even if they didn’t have the specific donut you wanted they won’t disappoint. Definitely my new spot.

My family loves, loves, loves Daylight Donuts. Its a bit of a drive for us, but we go anyway because the donuts, pastries, and muffins are THAT GOOD. The coffee is great, too! Their selection is amazing, and the people who work there are on point in regards to efficient and friendly customer service. :)

This is a frequent stop for me. I love that it feels less like a chain than the other shops. The muffins are to die for and are low in fat. The donuts are great, my kids love them. Not to mention the coffee blows away any other donut shop.

I love these donuts, favorites are probably the double chocolate and the original glazed. They’re a more dense type of donut, almost like cake. Plus they’re safe for people with peanut and tree nut allergies like me.

There is a guy here who is unbelievably rude. He is there every morning and possibly he’s the owner- I’m not sure. I hear him chew people out about their order all of the time. Ordering too much of this and what if he’s left with not enough of that and you need to call in advance. This guy has a nasty way about him and I will never go back after seeing this multiple times. Duck Donuts is down the street and those folks are always friendly.

I would have loved to try them. Drove on over there and they were CLOSED. 2 PM on Tuesday. Even their own website does not list the hours of operation. A place can be great, staff can be friendly, and food excellent BUT if you cannot get inside then you will never know. Stay open longer or publish your hours of operation on the Internet.

Amazing Donuts! The owner is amazing. When I was there I saw two different people give him suggestions that would ruin business. He thanked both of them for their thoughts and was very kind. He must put something special in those donuts to keep him so happy serving donuts for the past 10 years. I love daylight donuts!

Hands-down best doughnuts in the Triangle, anyone claiming otherwise isnt being objective. Our favorites are the blueberry cake and mini cinnamon rolls. They also make spectacular muffins that will blissfully ruin your diet (the cranberry-orange SOUNDS kind of healthy, but its practically a dessert cake to die for). Their danishes, fritters, donut holes, and all of their other treats are wonderful as well.Order a day ahead of time minimum, because a huge amount of their daily creations will be sold out if you arrive late, and may not be ready yet if you arrive too early. If youre looking for spur of the moment treats though, stop in -and if they dont have your favorite, try something else. I doubt youll manage to find something bad.Oh, they also have coffee I guess. (Sorry, thinking about doughnuts)

Great, reasonably priced donuts. These are classic, and they have a large variety. They also do cute seasonal ones.

The taste and quality are about on par with Dunkin. The chocolate icing tasted like a fart. A customer in the store told me the maple glaze was really good. Was she paid? I wouldnt go so far as to call it good even if it was one of the most tolerable in the half dozen I took home. Perhaps Wednesday at 11am is not Daylights best time. Customer service wasnt great, I had to prod the server multiple times to explain the variety of unlabeled donuts. Donuts werent great, they tasted old and like fry oil.

This was so disgusting, my family ate some of these donuts and they were fine. But today i found a very long piece of hair that was dark purple inside my donut i hate to say this but this made me what to throw up inside my mouth so those people that still what to eat those donuts just made sure you check the inside.

My sister told me about Daylight Doughnut, she said that they were delicious. I tried them and oh my goodness! The door should have a warning sign on it that says Cautious, doughnuts are extremely delicious may cause addiction proceed carefully. I bought half a dozen and ate all but one. I will not buy doughnuts from any other place from now on.
