We visited Stone Basyx twice. During both visits we dealt with Angie. The first time we arrived it was near closing and the employees graciously let us walk around until 5PM, then Angie scanned our selection sheet and took our information down. Overall both visits were more than an hour and Angie took the time to walk around the warehouse several times with us and assist us in narrowing in on the slab we wanted. She appreciated the weight of the decision, knowing that it is an investment.Unfortunately, in the end, we chose to go with another wholesaler based on current stock availability. However we would like to extend a personal thank you to Angie, she was always extremely hospitable, organized and patient. We will definitely recommend anyone looking for stone, stop by Stone Basyx.

After calling several other stone distributors in the area, I finally spoke with Luci at Stone Basyx…if only my list had not been alphabetical! The stone I was looking for, that nobody else had, was not on her list. Instead of stopping there, she researched if it could be called something else. After determining my stone was in fact referred to by another name, she checked their stock and had plenty! She was able to hold a few slabs for me until I could get to their impressive warehouse the next day. Upon arriving, I was warmly greeted and swiftly shown the slabs. The gentlemen in the warehouse moved several slabs and laid them out for me to compare side-by-side. Choosing countertops is a big deal and can be stressful, so having a distributor be so kind and helpful brought some ease to the process! I would highly recommend Stone Basyx and their team…especially Luci!!!

The Stone Basyx of Raleigh offers a wide selection of material. The staff there is very knowledgeable and offer A1 customer service. Management and the sales team is very helpful with meeting the needs of customers and their fabricators!

Our fabricator recommended a visit to Stone Basyx, which was our third warehouse in the Raleigh area that we visited on our search for the perfect quartzite. The facility is clean, brightly lit and easy to walk through. The experience of working with Luciana (Lucy) was wonderful. She volunteered to have have quartzite slabs moved around so that we could see slabs adjacent to each other, which no one at the other locations ever offered. I loved working with Lucy and really appreciated the personalized experience at Stone Basyx in Raleigh. Cant wait to see our quartzite kitchen countertops installed.

We have been to several granite distributors in Raleigh and have found Stone Basyx to have the best selections and variety of stones. The warehouse is very well lit and the layout and the distance between the stones makes it very safe to look at all the choices as you walk. You are able to view the stones from near and far making selections easier. The staff is also very helpful! Myra and Al specifically helped us with making selections and moving stones. They were always enthusiastic and willing to make our experience the best it could be. We highly recommend Stone Basyx for your future stone selection!

These slabs are cheap and they are gambling on the fact that customers are clueless. If you purchase from wholesale you can save a lot of money. Only rich the rich and dumb would spend there money here.

Luciana Duarte will attend you as you tour through their warehouse with over 200 different types of granite, marble, quartzite and onyx from all over the world. I was new to this process of buying granite ( we ultimately decided on marble), and this is how it works--You visit STONE BASYX; tour the facility with Luciana, take pictures of stones, go home and dream about what youve seen and how your favorites will look in your kitchen; go back to STONE BASYX and walk around again; and when you make a decision, contact the fabricator of your choice and STONE BASYX will provide them with your selection(s) and your fabricator will provide you with estimates. If you only visit your fabricator you could probably find something you like. If you start your journey at STONE BASYX, you will find something you love!
