This is my go-to place for fresh burgers and fresh fruit. I have had great luck in getting sweet firm grapes and cherries here. There are many out there that understand how difficult that is.

Clean, well-organized store. Nice assortment of ready to eat food. Lots of fresh produce that looks good. Beautiful orchids for sale. A little pricey, but it is Fresh Market.

Yes, they can be quite expensive. However they have some excellent sales during the week for instance on Tuesdays they have really good deals on Chuck and chicken. Also on Fridays they have an excellent deal on Atlantic salmon.The quality of the food is absolutely exceptional the atmosphere is great. For some work such as myself I do have to use some discipline because there are so many options, Temptations

Fresh markets are great. I love the meal deal of the week, I like the Tuesday specials on ground chuck and chicken. Their platters are great for parties or holidays. Always clean, knowledgeable staff, I go every week or every other week it seems

Used to carry grind your own honey roasted peanut butter, our favorite, but, unfortunately they dont carry it anymore. Not sure why because they did have bulk honey roasted peanuts. Thanks for your reply Olivia. I was in the store yesterday May 13, 2021 and they still havent switched back. Ive noticed the same over the past couple months at other Fresh Markets . Expensive. They have a lot of good stuff, but very pricey. I only go in for stuff I cant find elsewhere like bulk nuts and a few other specialty items. The dried fruit is a good example. A 16 oz.. container of dried apricots was $15. I found the same size container at my local supermarket for about half that price. Same thing with a spiral sliced ham. There is a lot of imported stuff like smoked Prosciutto from Italy and specialty meats and seafood. I go there when Im looking for something for a special occasion.

I want to compliment an employee of this store who noticed one of my bags of pre-packaged coffee was opened and the seal was broken. She went and got another without asking me if I needed her to. Fresh food great place to shop have a variety of stuff i can not find anywhere else. Has every tea you need even tea you can not find anywhere else will be right here if your a tea drinker.

Excellent meat selection which I prefer greatly over Whole Foods. Better flavor and more choices of cuts. They will also help you with any special requests. Nice produce and great bread selection. Only edge I give to Whole Foods is La Farm product but that is not enough to get me there. Excellent store.

I enjoy the things in the store,they are so cool,but I noticed that the white customers the shop there dont want us in there shopping,so very rude, but oh well who gone stop me,paper bags please 😂

I got the split chicken meal from there and it was the driest chicken Ive ever had. They usually arent bad but this was crazy dry. Always a good store to shop at tho. Was just disappointed by the cooked food there.

When I get off work late on Friday night, to tired to go out. They have ready to eat meals, hot and delicious supper🤤🍽️

They use artificial preservatives in their food. My banana bread and the individual fruit tart had it. Not sure what was in the fresh pizza but I got sick. I get a bad reaction if I eat too much artificial preservatives

The fruit I purchase was so fresh and juicy. I should have bought another, and the desserts are the best.

Everyone is always friendly at the Fresh Market. I purchased the salmon for dinner and it was amazing, fresh and delicious.

Purchased a very small Hydrangea plant five days ago and found it had shriveled up and dropped when I arrived home from work this evening. Young assistant manager, Jacob made the decision not to refund me or provided store credit. No worries - I threw the plant away. In a world and area where there are so many places to shop - I will choose to spend my hard earned money at stores who have excellent customer service. Would love to post a picture of the plant but dont see option to do that.

First time visit. Its a very nice store with a lot of unique items and good selections.

I shop at the Fresh Market frequently and I always find the freshest produce, best meats, finest products, and the nicest employees in every department. I am especially happy to see Tina or Nia when I check out because they are so friendly and take extra care bagging your purchases.

High prices, no self check. There is no point do shopping here, you will waiste your money.

I love the fresh market they have what Im always looking for. Really clean place. Love the brown sugar they have available and lots of variety of vegetables and fresh meat. Customers service is on point. Very friendly and sociable employees.

Fresh Market is a favorite of mine, mainly because of the smoked fresh salmon by the pound sliced thin for my bagels. May I mention the many different trail mixes they have by the pound. With that said, I feel that i must mention that they are outrageously expensive, I guess with all their specialty items they feel that they can charge such outrages prices. Well see how they deal with the giant new specialty store, Wegmans, in town. I still love my charming Fresh Market, I hope they can survive!

They aren’t trying to take care of customers from COVID. Did a pick up for a turkey at my appointed time window and the store was packed, no room to socially distance, the line for pick up was wrapped around the store, customers had gone in without masks.

Like to order single servings of stuff but boy the prices are ridiculously high. Still, I have to look at what it would cost me to buy. I shop just a few items.

Seems to be like Sprouts but more upscale. Their bakery, deli and butcher depots are huge Prices are a bit higher here than Sprouts. For the list part it does seem to be a nice store. The only drawback is the dark feel it has.

I have had some great experiences at this location. Just last night the gentleman working in the deli was super friendly and engaging. He seemed really passionate about delivering great customer service- even at closing time! The cashier was quick and had the best smile!

This is my favorite, upscale grocery store. Lots of beautiful, fresh organic vegetables. Good meats and seafood. They will special order wine for me and offer a case discount on wines. They have good foods in the precooked section and get a bowl of beef chili if they happen to have it when youre there. Its really good. Cakes and bakery items are very good.

I love this fresh market and the staff that works the seafood market are so kind and knowledgeable. I’ve always preferred this location.

Love Fresh Market but lost some of its charm and uniqueness when thechange and addition of product lines occurred early Spring. We love the vintage Fresh Market as before and the Tuesday specials. Sometimes change is not for the better and this is a prime example of that. What happened to the $2,99 chicken breast and ground Chuck on Tuesdays?? Ugh!!! Only 3 stars for the new Fresh Market but 5 stars for the original Fresh Market.

Tekala in the bakery went above and beyond to help me. I called to ask if they had scones in stock because last week they did not. I told her how many I needed and she pulled them aside for me,,and the fresher ones!! Thank you so much for helping me out for my nieces bridal brunch on Saturday in Rocky Mount. 💜💜💜

This is a great Fresh Market location in a lovely shopping center. Theres a good selection of more gourmet foods at lower-than-Whole Foods prices. Staff are friendly and the store is clean and well-organized. A good stop for fancier items on your grocery list.

This was my first time shopping at The Fresh Market, and it’s so cute inside, clean, and organized! What topped it off for me is the smiling workers. This particular day it was raining so hard and they have someone to walk you to your car with an umbrella! That’s what you call above and beyond service!

Have some hard to find items but have problems finding a good variety of fresh vegetables. Store is clean and neat. Sight lines are blocked since they remodeled. Also difficult to see which checkout lanes are open. Love their various meal prep options (meal in a box, buy protein/get fixings at discount or free, deli, sushi, sandwiches/soups/pizza/dumplings/etc. Friendly staff. Give plastic bags but dont offer recycling.

This is a great store to shop for fresh produce, prepared foods and meats! The deli counter staff are very friendly and helpful. I’m happy this store hasn’t been changed like the store at Cameron Village.My only problem with this store is if you need to return/exchange an item. The customer service is lacking. They will perform the exchange, but they are rude about it.

Every time I enter this store I am always warmly greeted by Samantha, Who always offers me a sample and talks with me for a moment or two, and whether its just about what is going on that day, the weather. or Just a smile as I come in, its always appreciated. The sushi chefs is amazing, i always come in to warm smiles and waves and I always am sure to get the 411 on the best thing to eat for the day, most of the cashiers are Horrendously nice, I cannot leave the store without a grin from ear to ear. Its such a pleasant experience and I wish I could come in every day so I could try everything.Thanks fresh market staff for everything you all do. It goes a long way & everyones hard work is much appreciated

Upscale fresh food market, emphasis on fresh. Upscale pricing, too, but sale prices can ameliorate that for some things.

Nice variety of fresh fruits and veggies and great selection of prepared foods/salad bar items. Kids loved the free samples offered throughout the store and all of the workers were friendly and helpful.

This store is clean, it stocks quality products, and everything always seems to be fresh. However, the deli staff are just awful. The staff is always rude and seems put out that people want to order sliced meat and cheese. The wait is always 20+ minutes for 2 meats and 1 cheese. A pound of each. This wait time is a combination of the staff not acknowledging waiting customers and when they eventually do they move as slowly as possible. The one exception Ive encountered to this over the past year is Zach. I sincerely hope management resolves this issue soon or Ill switch my primary store to the new Wemans opening at the end of Sept 2019.

I really enjoy coming to this grocery store. Their inventory is always organized, the staff are very friendly and the produce is always fresh. They also have really nice gift sets available at the entrance if you need to pick up something last minute.

I found fresh NC raw shrimp that I made for my sons birthday. It was so delicious, baked and stuffed with a mixture of butter & Ritz crackers. I also bought a French silk chocolate cream pie to die for. Everything smelled so Fresh especially the coffee.

What a beautiful store! All kinds of unique items. Less of the major brands. Lots of customer service. Maybe a little more money than HT or Kroger, but it feels very posh.

The freshness of the produce is impressive. This store may be a bit higher in price than standard grocery stores but you can count on them to have fresh produce, meats, and seafood every time. Their deli also has some impressive ready-to-eat side you can pick up for quick meals.

I like Fresh Market as a whole for the healthy products they carry thats why I gave them a 3 but for speed of service in the deli, I would give them a one. I normally stop at this location for a quick snack when in the area. However, I have really been disappointed in the speed of service in the deli area. On average it take 10-15 minutes for assistance. They need to staff the deli better especially on the weekends. I left without getting what I went there for today becuase I got tired of waiting.

Great little.grocery store with lots of specialty items and great meats. Especially recommend the rotisserie turkey breast.

A bit pricey on some items but the quality is very good. And you can find some great International items there too.

Wonderful staff with a wide variety of produce and grocery selection. The hot bar and sushi station is a great place to get food for lunch or dinner. Fresh coffee bar always makes shopping here nice. I recommend anyone wanting an enjoyable & healthy shopping experience to come to the fresh market on Falls of neuse rd.

Their coffee is outstanding!! Love the coconut bean coffee!! Just about ready to come in for more. The people working there are also very helpful. My only negative is......prices high.

The apple pie with carmelized walnuts on it..simply delicious. My husband loves this pie.
