Paid around $14 for a quart of “ham and bean” soup only to find out that there was not any ham in it and the beans were hard. One of the best parts of Honey Baked Ham’s soup is the way it usually melts in your mouth with big giant bits of delicious ham in it. We were given stale crackers too!I almost left the store when I asked for a half pound of ham salad and the young lady said that only sell it by the pound... being dumbfounded, I asked the owner that was there and he agreed to sell me a half pound. At corporate stores in Michigan, you can buy as much or as little as you want... why would anyone turn down a sale? With all that said, we ended up ordering more and spending $26.51.We also experienced the young man take out ham slices that we ordered with his bare hands to show us. At the corporate stores we’ve always frequented, they wrap the meat in cellophane prior to putting it into the gold bag.Sadly, I won’t be able to return to this store because I don’t like paying for someone’s rendition or best attempt of how it’s made at any of the other stores that I have visited in North America. Being a former over-the-road truck driver, I have been to many... also, I’m from the backyard of the corporation, being from Michigan, where the company started, I’ve been eating this stuff for years!

I have been a honey bake ham customer for years. Always thought Honey Baked Hams were a cut above the others. Yes, they are expensive. But I felt you get what you pay for. My wife bought us a $80.00 Honey Baked Ham for 2020 Christmas. We were highly dissappointed in our last Honey Baked Ham. It was no better than the Sugar/Honey cured spiral cut hams from Sams, Costco, BJs. Those hams only cost $35-$50. I rarely criticize anyones product. When you pay premium prices you expect premium product.

I was completely surprised by my experience at this store yesterday...the day before Thanksgiving. The line was just a bit out the door when I arrived, so I was not expecting this to be nothing more than standing in line with uncourteous people with some cold customer service. However, to my surprise everyone was so kind, the samples were yummy, the service was fast and very courteous, and I got to watch a little Food Network while I was waiting, which was not long at all. I left the store feeling happy...not even kidding. Im counting this among my Thanksgiving things to be grateful for! See you at Christmas!!

I absolutely love Honey Baked Ham. Really good service and delicious food. Their ham and turkey sandwiches always hit the spot. Also I highly recommend their Broccoli Bacon Bliss Salad.

Check your ham before you leave. Purchased on Christmas Eve. Opened on Christmas Day only to find that the glaze was hard as a brick and not connected to the ham. I couldn’t even break it up with my fingers. Christmas dinner officially ruined. The yummy glaze is the reason most folks buy the ham. I called and left a message the morning of 12/26; waited for almost 3 hours, no return call. I called the store, spoke with the manager who asked me to clarify what I meant repeatedly as if he didn’t believe me. Was told to bring the ham back to see if anything can be done. I did not because I didn’t appreciate the manner in which my phone call was handled. We’ve been customers for a long time but this was the last time I will purchase a $56 ham with glaze as hard as cement on the side.

Our 3rd Honey Baked Ham from this location...just moved into Wake Forest from Chicago (Cold and Windy). HB, best ham you can buy.... Store service was excellent...manager explained whole process to me. Wonderful taste and great service, what more can you ask for. Happy Holidays!

As you enter the store a staff member offers free tasting samples. When you approach the counter staff pull customers orders from fridge and place it on the counter, then with the STAFFS BARE HANDS, open the wrapper to show the product to the customer. When I approached the counter, the staff member placed my order on the counter I told him not to open it.Suggest the samples be covered with a glass dome AND Staff hands be gloved just after placing product on counter, BEFORE opening the wrapper to show the product to the customer.The products are consistently good however their handling techniques makes me glad we only shop there once a year.

Have you ever been addicted to a sandwich? Eaten it everyday for lunch for over a week? I have, and it happened here. The BBQ smoked stacker is one for my favorites list. You most defiantly need to also pick up a ham to snack own during the week. I love support the local owner and staff who are friendly as well. Forget these other reviews, mine is the one you need to pay attention to. Go try it for yourself. You WILL not be disappointed.

We love this Honey Baked Ham. We drive 20 mins just to come to this honey baked ham. Great service, they have a deli, sometimes theyll have the seating to eat inside....clean and very friendly staff. My kids are always extremely active but the staff is always very nice.

Was so disappointed that the sides came pre packaged & frozen. I was anticipating more of a fresh deli style (think Boston market). I could have went to the grocery store to get what I got. Will not be back.
