This was one of the best service calls Ive ever experienced. John came out and was able to install our new thermostat in a timely fashion. He was extremely professional and friendly. We had an issue in upgrading to a new digital thermostat from an old outdated system and John knew exactly what to do. We will definitely be calling MetroTech again for any of our heating and air issues!

A friend had recommended MetroTech Heating and Air, Inc. I called, they got right back to me and gave a time window they would be at my home and it was accurate. The price was fair in comparison of other HVAC companies that I used in the past. I would recommend them to whoever needed a repair. I have to say it was a positive experience. I would call them again. Thank you MetroTech!

I am totally disappointed with all of John’s promises online in his video and his hard sell to the warranty company that hires his service. He was contacted on a Friday about 9:30 am and on Sunday evening he still is a no show. His lack of communication to set up a good show tone nor any communications to the status makes this critical service nonexistent. He can no longer make the claims on his web site based on my experience with him! I’d hire any one else but this one

We had a good experience with MetroTech, who evaluated our AC service. John figured out that some freezing rooms upstairs were not getting their fair share of air flow. After he installed dampers the temperature really evened out and was a lot more comfortable! Friendly service as well. Recommended!

My AC unit stopped working on what has so far been the hottest day of the year. I called these guys on a Saturday morning and they came out that afternoon and fixed it for me. Luckily it was an easy fix and relatively cheap when compared to many other possible AC problems. I inquired about an annual service plan and he quoted me a price for it, but then suggested not even doing it because the unit I have is very reliable and high quality. So refreshing to actually have someone be honest and not just try to make a sale! Ill definitely call them in the future for any repairs!

We called MetroTech Heating and Air to fix our non-working heating. We got fast, friendly service and excellent explanation of the problem along with a walk-through of the fix. The owner, John Friend, was very knowledgeable and capable and saved us a huge amount of cash. I recommend this service.

My wife Susan was blown away when John the service technician came out and put on shoe covers to protect our wooden floors while servicing the air conditioner. We were well pleased with John and Metrotech that we purchased a maintenance plan. Thankfully he was able to get the system running the same day that we called. We have recommended him to my family and co-workers. Thank you for fixing our ac system.

MetroTech sent out a technician within an hour to get our furnace back up and running at our church this last Sunday morning. I was well pleased with the service technician. Very professional and courteous. Id highly recommend them to anyone. They know their stuff when it comes to commercial amd residential heating and air conditioning systems.

My sister made an appointment with a time frame of 10 to 2. I drove 1.5 hours to be there for the appt.The tech, John, showed up at 2:44 p.m. with no excuse. He walks outside to the system, said its frozen. 2:47 p.m. he told me to turn the unit off, turn the fan on and he will be back in a couple of hours. After 3 hours we called to check on the progress he says he will be there at 9. 17 hours later still not here. It did start raining around 8:18 p.m, but I think a phone call, at least to reschedule, would have been appropriate.I called this morning to ask what happened or could he have called to reschedule. He tells me common sense should have told he wasnt coming.Very poor customer service would not recommend at all.

I called Metro Tech to inspect my inefficient A/C performance and they promised a four hour window time of arrival. John the technician arrived promptly, performed diagnosis and explained what the problem was. He drained the water pan, cleaned the clogged lines, cleaned the coils, added refrigerant and VOILA! my A/C was back on. Thanks John! John presented a professional attitude and his personality was great. Good work Metro Tech! Straight Shooter!

John with Metrotech was awesome and very friendly! He was very accommodating with price, even recommended I contact my home warranty and I was able to save $1500 because of him! He also ended up helping me with another electrical problem I had in my home and fixed a totally separate issue. I will always use Metrotech for my heating and air needs!!!

The work they did was alright, as far as we can tell at this point in time. However, in between them receiving the part and them actually doing the work, it took fifty-four days, five appointments that they set and didnt honor (no communication or anything, they just didnt show up) and an escalation of our issue to the home warranty (AHS) companys contractor relations person. We were lucky that it wasnt an emergency and will try our best to avoid them in the future, inspite of the nominal discount that they provided for their service.Response to the owners post: we didnt demand a weekend installation, you offered it to us after we asked whether it was possible. If you wouldve said that a weekend was not possible, then we wouldve scheduled it for the week. You might notice that the day that the work actually got done was a Tuesday and there wasnt much back and forth about that from us. Were also under no illusion that we are the only people in the area suffering from HVAC problems, but if you cannot make an appointment then the least you can do is to tell the person that you cant make it, especially if its been four or five times.

Upon initial arrival, John quickly identified the problem and laid out the solution. As soon as permits were pulled and equipment delivered, he arrived with his team on time, installed the unit and soon had cool air flowing! Additionally, his service could be considered white glove service since despite there being five guys working in my house today, there was no mess left anywhere, inside or out.MetroTech is now my highly preferred heating and air resource!

The technician was a no-show yesterday. I had to call him to find out what happened. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, he came the next night, did something for 10 minutes and said he couldnt find anything wrong. I repeatedly told him that our A.C. unit freezes up when its 85 degrees and above outside and he says thats normal. I told him I had to pay for the visit, can you at least check the rest of the system, he responded, I dont care if you paid $400 and was unwilling to come into the house to try and diagnose a problem.

If I could give him zero stars, I would! Terrible service!!!! I spoke to him yesterday and asked if there was anything I could do. He said NO! He came over and within 2 minutes said there was nothing else he could do. The coils are frozen over. I asked him 4 times to check to make sure the AC switch in the house is set up correctly. I literally had to almost beg him. On his way out, he drove over the part of my yard that I am trying to fix. Do not hire them!!!!

Metro Tech responded to my request thru AHS concerning my upstairs A/C. John was very professional and courteous. He explained what he was doing. I was also impressed when he returned my call on a Holiday and offered to come the next day.

Zero stars. i had an appt with this company for my AC. My home warranty service chooses the provider, so I had no input in to choosing Metro Tech. Was given a 4 hr window, 5-9 in the evening. No one showed up and no one called to tell me that they werent going to show up...until 7:30 am next morning when I received a call telling me that they it isnt their policy to require their techs to call the customers. Even for a cancellation. He asked if they could try again that evening. I asked for a two hour window with a call ahead...no, not in our policy. I declined to have them come out. Called the home warranty service and theyve given me another provider to try.

Amazing service!Arrived on time within the promised time window on the same day as the service call. Friendly and thorough inspection of the older system and leaking problem. Suggested a temporary DIY fix, and several other replacement options at different price points.

I called and scheduled an appointment to inspect our A/C as our A/C was not working properly. Originally, a technician was scheduled to inspect our A/C from 2-6pm, when the technician never came I had called the office to see when a technician would arrive. I was told that technicians were 2 hours behind but I was to expect a technician around 8. By the time it was 8, a technician still had not arrived and the office was closed and there was no number to reach any other form of customer service. The next day when I asked to speak to the manager, that request was denied and they had scheduled another appointment, this time I was told to expect a technician from 4-6pm and again a technician never came. I am very unamused of how poorly organized and unprofessional this company is.

Where do I even begin! Metrotech was sent out by our warranty company. John quickly diagnosed the problem and would need to come back to refill our coolant. He was very diligent in trying to schedule our appointment even though we had to be out of town. He also found we needed a new part that would require an electrician or we may run the risk of a house fire. Our unit would not run until this was repaired. Our warranty company sent Robert from RJ Wiggins out twice who refused to repair what John requested and steadfastly argued for DAYS that the part did not need to be replaced and that he was not doing it. I, as the customer, had to stay continuously on the phone over days while all this was sorted out at a painstackingly slow rate (thank you American Home Shield) over a week and half as the temperature got warmer and warmer. John stayed true to his word and when he saw how I was getting zero help and we were pending a near 100 degree temp weekend (I have 3 kids) he prompted one of his electricians he works with to arrive at my home on a Friday at 6:00 to replace the part and run the risk he may/may not be reimbursed by the warranty company. John stepped up and was the ONLY professional in this situation who cared about the customer. As soon as the part was replaced by the new electrician..the unit came on a ran perfectly JUST as John had been saying from the beginning. Not only would I want him back out to work on my units but I will be recommending him to my clients going forward. Thank you John for proving their are still business owners who are willing to the best for their customers when they know they are right!

Technician was late then canceled 1st appointment; they never showed or called for the rescheduled appointment; called 2 weeks later to try to schedule a 3rd appointment. Lack of common courtesy and customer service - they do not deserve my money.

John with Metrotech is the only person that I would trust with my families heating and air conditioning needs. Over the winter, my furnace was completely out of sorts. I tried everything to get it working properly. Then I called John at Metrotech. Not only was he out to the house the same day, but he was able to diagnose and repair the issue properly, without breaking the bank.Just last week, as the temperature started to rise, I noticed that the temp was rising inside my house as well. One call to John and he was able to come out to the house that evening and diagnose the problem. The next day, after the part came in, John stayed at my home until past 11:00 pm on a Friday night to make sure that the unit was fixed and working properly so that my children did not have to suffer through another hot night.Every time that John has come out to my home, he has been respectful, upfront, and honest about what the issues have been with my HVAC and he has worked above and beyond to repair any issues in a timely manner at an affordable cost.Finding an honest and competent HVAC serviceman can be a challenge, with John, however, I know that I have found someone who my family can trust for our HVAC needs for years to come!Thanks John!!

This company doesnt even deserve 1 star. Metrotech was sent to us by our home warranty company, American Home Shield, which is also a horrible company, by the way. Our AC issue was misdiagnosed initially by Metrotech, and then was never fixed. After many unanswered calls and emails to Metrotech and many frustrating calls to AHS over 21 days without AC, we ended up purchasing a new unit out of our own pocket. And I love how the owner, John Friend, wrote his own glowing review.
