We ordered a load of rock yesterday afternoon and it was delivered this morning before 8 a.m. Nicole did a fantastic job delivering our load. She dumped our rock exactly where we wanted it and was extremely efficient. The customer service we received from Triangle Landscaping Supply was top notch!!We will be back!

TLS Raleigh promised delivery “first thing” in the morning, Nicole arrived before 8am with exactly the right material and really saved our project. 100% would use again.

I recently purchased some mulch from Triangle Landscape Supplies on Gresham Lake Rd. I called first and the staff in the office were very professional and carefully went over all my options and pricing. They offer delivery at a very reasonable cost. I went and picked up the mulch myself. They loaded it for me in my trailer and Im really happy with the quality of the mulch. Office staff was great, even though they were busy they made sure that I got the correct product. My neighbors say my yard looks great and I am telling them to go to TLS because Im so happy with my purchase.

Triangle landscape supplies is the best landscape supply company in the entire area. You can tell this by the volume of business they get from homeowners to landscapers, the friendly nature of their staff that started to remember me by name, and finally the prices. They are fair and in many cases the best. Their pine straw is top notch, stone is beautiful, leaf compost is the best, and 50/50 garden mix is showing to be outstanding.I’ve ordered 5 pallets of stacked stone, 18 yards of dirt, 8 yards of cypress chips, Delaware stone, screenings, lead mulch, ABC stone, and pine straw. All of it was top quality material.I also had their crews help me with installing the dirt and they knocked it out in under 2 hours.Their loading teams are fast and very careful with your car.Don’t go anywhere else. Make some friends here and you will find the only family owned landscape supply you will ever need.

I have purchased mulch and the 50/50 Blend Soil (which made a big difference in my lawn). Since I was stuck at home so long because of the Corona Virus, you could say I made good with my time off in working in my yard. lol... The people in the office were friendly & helpful with the type of soil I needed for my Fescue grass and delivered in my driveway, which was sooo much easier than me making multiple trips with my truck.

Recently visited the location Gresham Lake to purchase the landscaping rocks. After looking at the product outside, I decided to go inside to make a purchase. When I entered the trailer, there were a gentleman and woman sitting at the front desk. I stood in front of them waiting to get someone attention. After standing there with no one even acknowledging me, I just left because I felt like they were not interesting in assisting me. I hate I drove there and wasting my time.

I needed quite a bit of river rock for a top coating for my driveway and large parking area. Brian in the office was very helpful and helped me figure out how much I needed and steered me in the right direction to help find out what type of rock I would need. Since I didnt want just plain driveway gravel, he suggested that I come into the office to look at the samples personally. I chose the River Gravel, which looks fantastic! They were able to schedule a pretty quick delivery of the 30 yards of gravel and dumped it right in my driveway, so the contractor I hired would have access to spreading it easily. I have had so many compliments about how great it looks from my friends and neighbors! I would highly recommend this company... They made it very easy for me. I had no idea at first that they sold to homeowners, not just landscaping companies. I give them 2 THUMBS UP ! If I had more thumbs, Id give them more :)

Overall, the process went smoothly. They are very friendly and excellent communication and timely in their delivery. This is my second time using them, however, I was disappointed in the quality of the mulch. I purchased 15 yards of walnut dyed triple shredded mulch. The price was cheaper than other competitors, but the quality was not up to par at all. There were bits of trash through the entire pile I bought. Scraps of metal, pieces of painted wood likely from pallets or other scrap wood, along with LOTS of plastic bags and plastic scrap of all shapes and colors. I understand triple shredded hardwood sometimes can have other contaminants and that is why it is all dyed to be uniform, but this was amount was unacceptable. I had to stop every shovel full to take time and pick out the trash. Also, the color has seemed to fade MUCH quicker (only after 2 days) than the mulch i bought last time, which was the designer walnut. Overall, I would still try them again next year but I hope their quality isn’t slipping cause they seem like a decent company.

Ordered 12 cubic yards of mulch from the Garner location. Called ahead to make sure I was home before just showing up and arrived exactly when they said they would. Have some power lines across my driveway, but got those navigated successfully. Dumped the mulch exactly where X was marking the spot. Driver was prompt and courteous. I would highly recommend doing business with TLS of Garner!

We were really pleased and satisfied with both the staff and products at Triangle Landscape Supplies located in Raleigh. Mike, Stacey and Dexter are very helpful and kind professionals. They went out of their way to assist us. We are happy with how the mulch and 57 stone look against our house and feel both products are reasonably priced.

We were shopping for landscape boulders for our home and found Triangle Landscape Supplies to have a great selection of rocks to choose from. We were able to select individual pieces without having to purchase an entire pallet or pay a fee to break up a pallet. We had a great experience. The worker behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. The office is very well organized with a variety of samples and also a price sheet which makes it very clear what you can get and what it will cost. After we made our choices we went outside and confirmed them by looking at their stock piles. We picked a pea gravel and a mulch and some flagstones. There were several choices in all these areas.

Thought I had a short 1/2 yard of material and brought it to their attention. They asked for my name and number at the front desk and said I should speak with the manager during the week. An owner was on-site and called me before I left the parking lot. We spoke and she took the time to verify that I was getting what I paid for. They are quick to respond, take the time to listen, work with you if there is a potential problem, and very informative and knowledgeable about their products. Ill be sticking with them for the rest of my projects at any location!

If you go in to their Gresham Lake Road location, see Miss Wendy Sanchez at the front desk. She really cares about the business she represents, and is knowledgeable about their products. I showed up on the fly on a Wednesday morning when all of Raleigh was calling and driving in to pick up their supplies for all their projects, and she took good care of everyone, on the phone and standing in front of her. Aside from that, the prices offered and variety of materials beat no one else in the triangle. I did my legwork for this latest project and Triangle Landscape Supplies came through with flying colors. Again. Wont go anywhere else.

No phone contact never will answer

I needed 15 cu yds last minute, on a Friday, to do a weekend project. When I called they were super nice and went out of their way to fit me in the schedule after I explained the situation. The ladies in the office know their products well and were super nice to me and my young daughter (yes, lollipops were a hit), even though it was obvious they were very busy. The delivery guy was great! He called ahead to make sure I was ready and answered all my questions when he arrived. The designer walnut mulch is top quality and makes a huge difference in our yard. It looks great!

Great product and excellent customer service! We ordered topsoil and 50/50 for delivery and installation in our backyard. I was unsure of how much material we needed and changed my order twice on the day of delivery. Despite my multiple phone calls with order changes, Wendy and Debbie were so polite and friendly and accommodated my requests at the last minute. The soil was great quality and the installers (Adam and his associate) did a wonderful job leveling the yard to help with drainage issues. I highly recommend Triangle Landscape Supplies!

Triangle Landscaping has a wonderful product at a great price. On top of that, they are friendly and helpful. Marco helped me load up my pickup and then helped secure the load with a tarp and tie downs to make sure I could transport it safely. We have used them for years,, and they are consistently top notch.

I recently placed an order for 40 yards of topsoil more than a week in advance of my requested delivery date. I confirmed the order over the phone with Brian. Brian was incredibly frustrating to deal with as he could not understand that the GIS or google earth view of my home was outdated and did not show the driveway that has since been poured. As a result, he required that I be present for delivery rather than accepting my simple instructions. I arranged to rent a loader and scheduled my sod installation based on the expected delivery date for the soil. On the morning of the scheduled delivery, Brian called and informed me that they had been cleaned out of topsoil that week and would be unable to fill my order. I have purchased a fair amount of product from this company this year, but they will not get another dime from me. There is no excuse for not giving me the courtesy of greater notice that they would be unable to fill an order of this size. Fortunately, Morgan Landscape Supply has agreed to fill my order and offer same day delivery.

Just took delivery on a load of Triangle Landscape Supplies Delaware Chalet 3/4 stone. The customer service was fantastic, the stone is looks exactly like what is shown on the web page, delivery was completed earlier than expected by none other than Jeff himself, and the crowning stroke was the fact that I left instructions to drop it at the curb if he felt he might roll on the lawn and damage the grass (I am the ultimate GET OFF MY LAWN! guy), but Jeff is the consummate professional, He was able to back in, and dump the entire load without hitting a single blade of grass or plants!!I will definitely recommend Triangle Landscape Supplies to all my friends and will be using them for any future landscaping needs!!Thanks again, JOB WELL DONE!

Bought 10 yards of Topsoil It is full of rocks and garbage. Yes, garbage like Styrofoam cups and cigarette butts and plastic bags. I have bought fill dirt that is better quality then this!I will never do business with them again.UPDATE I was contacted by the co owner of the company. After discussing the problems I was offered a partial refund. Several days later I was a left a message stating that they WERE NOT GOING TO GIVE A PARTIAL REFUND! Hopefully they go bankrupt! They are a bunch of liars.

Very disappointing. Ive ordered 35 yards/year of mulch for two years. This year I tried to order mulch again for the third year. I called several times (4) and left four messages. No one returned my call. When I called the fifth time, finally someone answered. I was informed that the mulch could be delivered by a certain day. I scheduled the yard crew. When I called to confirm the delivery I was told that I couldnt receive the mulch until the week after the scheduled delivery. The gentleman was not very polite and seemed very unconcerned that he lost a customer.

The guy was very impatient and rude. Our first conversation at that. He asked me how deep I wanted my mulch. I am doing a project for my home owners association and am not savy about mulch. I am asking him how much is required either by law, city code or how much would be recommended. He blasted me. A very short tempered old fart who doesnt know how to talk to people. He was still rude even after I explained to him I am not experience in this field. I got my information and said thank you and hung up. You best believe I am not using his company. I talked to other companies and his numbers were off. I dont know if he knows mulch but he definitely does not know customer service.

Ridiculous company. They never showed up to do the install of our soil. No call or anything. I left a message to try to get it straight. The guy comes the next morning. It rains so he leaves, and says he will return at 1:00PM. Havent seen him since. Called and was put on hold for 10 minutes. By hold, I mean the phone left on a counter. Still no sign of the installer, and no call back.

The lady in front desk is absolutely rude! My husband and I were there for 5 min and she never greeted or even looked at us.

Rock Soil not Top SoilBefore purchasing top soil from Triangle you should be aware of the soil to rock content. You will get over 50% rock in your mixture. Rich at Triangle seems to believe that this is acceptable and normal. They should call this “rock soil” and not “top soil”. I think this is false advertising. I spent close to $200 and spread the mixture myself before I knew it was over 50% rock. Go buy a bag of top soil at one of the big box stores and you will not get a single rock. I would inspect for yourself before buying top soil from Triangle otherwise you will waste your money and then get a song and a dance along with excuses as to why they believe it is acceptable to sell such a product and rip you off in the process.

Seems after reading the reviews on mulch and top soil orders in recently past I may be better advised to spend my money else where anywhere from replacing sample mulch with trash ridden substandard mulch to rudeness of owner and employees . Wow what a shame the people here are in the service business yet forget whos providing the livelihood you service your customers with due diligence or run your business out of business. After over hearing how owner treated a truck driver today I was on premises, how belittling to the man the owner was to the truck delivery man I shall not spend money here . For it that owner talked to me that way a bloody nose he would be left with . The owner is out of control possible dangerous. I will shop else where

Confusing After paying in the office no direction on where to To get truck loaded . Big unorganized cluster. Then had to wait extra time so they could load their own trucks before taking care of customers.

Ugh! Was supposed to have 20 yards of compost delivered this morning. It is now 10:30am and they JUST called to tell me their truck driver, who is apparently a firefighter as well, cannot make it today. Ive already queued up help for today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday). And they are telling me it *may* be Tuesday. LOL - I wish I head read these other reviews. What a bunch of hacks...

We have been using TLS for 4 years now for mulch, garden soil, and various rock. The negative reviews I am reading lead me to believe these people ordered the wrong items. TLS sells many different grades of soil and mulch. Some of the soil has rocks, some of the mulch has yard debris. You get what you pay for. They are upfront with this information on their website. Double check what you actually ordered before you get mad it wasnt what you expected.

They tore property up delivering what they said was 11tons of crush and run. They said they wouldnt get off the paved driveway to put it where we wanted it but had no problem leaving two foot deep ruts in the section the gravel was for that we had already prepped.A call to the company only resulted in a blatant disregard for the customer to whom they were extremely rude to. No one in our neighborhood who saw what happened will ever use or recommend this company.

The delivery driver I had for my 1st delivery was great and so was the pricing. Come to find out price was so good because topsoil was loaded with sand. I ordered a 2nd round of mulch so the color would match and the price was much higher for some reason. The driver to show up was apparently the owner. He called to confirm drop location and never ended the call, sticking the phone in his pocket. When I arrived home the mulch was left in a very different place then last time or what was confirmed on the phone. It took 2 days to get anyone to call me back. 2 days before Easter I now have a mound of mulch sitting in my front yard instead of mybside yard where itnwould not be an isore for my neighbors. When the owner who was rude and demeaning from the start called me, I posed the question of how he would like to handle this, he replied, Nothing, I dropped it on the dirt patch where u told me and I cant get anyone out there until late next week. He was referring to a patch of grass where I just killed off some weeds in my new home. A very different location from last time and what was confirmed on the call he made to me during the delivery. I asked that he credit me back enough to rent a bobcat to move it since he would not and he refused to do that as well further insulting me and the state of my property. With this gross display of customer service and the fact that there was a great deal of sand in their screened topsoil, I will no longer be using them nor should you if you want a pleasant experience and quality product. Just up the road from them is a couple of other facilities who have slightly better pricing and customer service blows them away. The topsoil is better quality as well. Bradsher Landscape supply is who I used to finish the yard work at my home. Capital Landscape supply was very helpful as well although I didnt use them. Sounds like a couple people on here are friends of the owner (Jeff) writing basic positive reviews, or maybe paid to write them. Troy seems to have gotten the real Triangle landscape experience before making the purchase, good for you, saved yourself a ton of headache. The owner is his own worst enemy at this point.

Wendy Sanchez was helpful to us when we needed only a few pieces of flagstone. The staff has a lot of experience and suggestions.

Will not talk on the phone, requires that you come out to their yard to select stone. Poor selection of stone and long lead times (2-3 weeks) to get more. Will not discuss alternatives. May have been a bad day, but clearly not interested in helping a previous customer with repeat business.
