Gary is the man! I got quoted at Mavis for brakes and oil on my truck for over 1400 dollars and I called Gary at meineke to see what he would charge me, ended up being over 500 dollars less! To add to that, he took me immediately! I am so thankful I called him, you can tell instantly from talking to him that he’s a good guy and a straight shooter. I will definitely be going back.

Fair, thorough, timely and friendly. Almost got raked at the dealership service center, they left me feeling like my car needed more than BB value worth of work and that my car was basically useless. Meineke was quick to reassess what was needed, gave fair prices 1/3rd the cost of the estimate from the dealership, and I got to talk to the mechanic who worked on my car (unlike what you get at the dealership). Seriously go here first, or for a second opinion. Meineke saved me again!!! They also didn’t make me feel like I’d have to come back in a few months for thousands more worth of work, which is what the dealership did!

1st time I’ve used Meineke in Ramsey was yesterday, had a grinding issue w/my brakes. Gary was quick to diagnose & communicate what the problem was, rear calipers had seized. This place is amazing. My whole family has been taking their cars here for years. Gary (the owner) is always so friendly and helpful and really knows his stuff. I pulled off of 17 with my car shaking relentlessly. Out of this Meineke pops Gary the owner. Hes a friendly, dynamic guy with a middle-age Jack Nicholson vibe. He got to the car right away and quickly observed that the caliper was frozen and my front tire was cooking. I was in a hurry and was happy that he prioritized the repair and got me back on the road just two hours later. I am not 100% sure, but think that the price was fair: $800 for two front calipers, two brake pads, and bleed for my 2011 Town and Country. Id come back.

Great knowledgeable and honest mechanic! I brought in my 2006 Toyota Sienna for a timing belt replacement after the dealership tried to haggle with me and upsell me on everything they could possibly find and quoting me around $2500. Instead I came here and Gary hooked me up. There was no upselling, hassle, or headaches, he just quoted me for the timing belt components that needed to be replaced, I left the car there, and not even a day later it was all done and running like brand new!! My car needed quite a bit of suspension work because of the high mileage and I received a very nice discount and felt the overall price was very fair for the work that needed to be done. Of all the car repair places around the Rt 17 area. This is the best. He replaced my brake pads and rotors which completely eliminated my wheel shudder. He even called to update me through the process. Gary is very nice guy who is a master of his craft.

After my car was done, I was told the coolant level was low. Gary offered to fill the coolant tank to full for no additional charge! He also gave me two new wiper blades for no additional charge! Several years ago, stopped in for an estimate. I was given excellent, honest and money aaving advice. Recently, moved to the area and needed care on my vehicle. I was given an estimate and a time-frame was given. Not only was i kept informed, work was done within the agreed upon cost but it was completed earlier than promised. I came in for an oil change and they filled my washer fluid free of charge, even though my washer fluid was so low it took an entire gallon to fill. They still did not charge me extra. My heat shield was rattling. I’m married so my wife insisted I fix it instead of ignoring it. I went to one mechanic who said “just rip it off, I can do it a week from Monday”.Gary said “no you need the heat shield.” He dropped a washer, confirmed both bolts are in good shape, and fixed it in 20 minutes without an appointment.Gary is absolutely correct. You can’t remove the heat shield on my car. It sits above the cat and prevents the carpet from catching on fire.Going to Gary from now on.

I came in because I was hearing a rattling noise coming from my car. Gary took a look at it and reinstalled my exhaust because it turned out my exhaust my never put on correctly. It was on my brake line. It doesn’t rattle anyone and my car feels solid and sounds better. Def check them out

While driving my exhaust system crumbled. This only happened because I needed to be some where very important the following day. I cant show up with a car sounding like a sick motorcycle. I called around for pricing, oh man covid hit my business hard I didnt have much. We made our way to Ramsey Meineke and met Gary for the first time. Left my vehicle to get evaluated. Yeah this was gonna cost me! After at the most 10min he called. Exhaust is shot from the front to the back I needed a complete replacement. The price was very fare lets get it done but Gary I need my car tomorrow. No big deal let me call see if all the parts are available. No way he will not pull this off . A few minutes Gary was on the phone, we close at 5pm pick her up at 430. Well now how much, I gave you the price already. Im thinking this is unreal I dont even know this guy. Picked her up and she is like a new ride. Im sure Gary has no idea how much stress and worry he saved me from. The entire world is changing every single day. I find it so refreshing that business owners and businesses like Ramsey Meineke the old school places that are straight up honest get the job done guys are still out there . Overall it was a good experience. My appointment was at 9:30am and I decided to wait since it was just a fluid change. It took about a half hour longer than it should have because I had to wait for the guy behind the counter to finish his breakfast before he finally got up to work on my vehicle.
