I have a 74 K5 Blazer that needed some work, I checked out the reviews and decided to try West Coast out after being ripped off by Jaws gear and axle (which tried to add on $700 for work not needed to be done AND charge me 3 times as much for the work done at West Coast Differential). The staff here is Amazing... especially Sam!!! They know their stuff and dont take advantage of people that dont!!! Love the prices and quick service. Upfront from the beginning. I will definitely be returning if I have any issues in the future!!!

Had trouble with a couple of shops, finding proper parts for a Dana 80 rear axle. Called up West Coast, gave Ed the axle tag#, 2 days later, correct parts delivered at my doorstep. Excellent! Thanks Ed

These guys are amazing. I have had work done on my f350 and 71 f100. Everytime I have left happy. They take awesome care of you and do fast quality work. Mike is awesome with his customer service. Always explains whats going on and will even give visuals of whats what. They never try and up sell. They tell you honestly if it needs replaced or not. Ill never take my trucks anywhere else for rear end work.

These guys really know their stuff and have a great inventory in stock. Made an almost 2 hour drive just to pick up some axles from these guys so I could finish up some customers cars, not once but twice so far! They do ship parts as well, I believe. But I was on a time crunch so made the drive.

I cant say enough good about these folks. They supply most of the parts we use at the shop I work at. Jay, Brad, Rusty, and the rest of the crew are always polite, helpful and prompt. They carry a HUGE inventory of parts and their warehouse staff is on top of every order that rolls in, no matter how big or small its always right. Thanks guys and gals at West Coast, we appreciate you!!

I came here to get my pinion bearing replaced on my F-150. Upon picking up the truck, I noticed that the tech that worked on it left a bunch of gasket maker on the face of the diff cover.. sloppy work and ethic kind of gave me a bad feeling.. I came back a few days later because I heard a slight whine that wasn’t there before my pinion bearing went bad, but was told it was road noise and accepted it. So today I get a letter from my HOA with a fine for $200 because I didn’t notice the oil stains I was leaving FROM MY DIFF that I just had serviced at West Coast Differentials not even a month ago! The work was done on 1/18/21 and today is 2/11/21... didn’t even make it a month and I have a leak. I even mentioned to Mike that I brought Permatex red gasket maker because it works best for the chrome diff cover that I have had leak free for the last 5 years, but he stated that they had something better.. Very frustrating to pay almost $700 and have sloppy work done and now dealing with leaking. Now another $50 will go to having to buy diff fluid plus additional Ford friction modifier... This place ONLY does diffs and couldn’t get a super common Ford 8.8 right. I don’t know where all of these 5 star reviews come from.. I’m sure Mike will chime in (or not) about coming back in, but at this point it’s not even worth the 45 mins drive just to have something else go wrong. Mike was very friendly, but I went there to get work done at a renown business. If you decide to go here and they give your vehicle to Erik Jorgensen to work on, run for the hills... Thats who did all of this to my truck.UPDATE: 6/7/21 I did a tire rotation on my truck and found out that the pinion seal is leaking again. This is initially why I had gone to this place. This is just so lame. $700 for damn near nothing. Now I’ll have to find a competent shop that knows how to actually work on Ford differentials and pay up again. Fed upEDIT: Mike I see that you responded, and no thank you on the offer sir. Also, after 25 years of doing differential work it is weird to see how my truck turned out. I guess tenure doesn’t account for ethic.

They repaired my 99 Toyota 4Runner 4:30 third member via UPS. My local dealer did the removal & installation.WCD did a perfect job! 6500 miles so far without any trouble. Only sold me the parts I needed. The pinion bearings were bad & those are what they sold me. They could have easily told me any number of things were wrong and jacked up my bill.Honest, excellent work, fair pricing, and outstanding customer service. No need to look elsewhere! Thanks guys!

I had my Ford 9 inch center section rebuilt from them. Noisy gears. Gears are 3.5 with Truetrac. Theyve replaced the gears once already and said they didnt see anything wrong with the gears nor the installation. Ive driven the car for more than 200 miles now. Noisy during load and louder when driving slow around 40 mph. There is also a lot of chatter when I slow down to a stop sign. The gears are Sierra Gears from them and they stand by it. Well, I wont be coming back.My response:The shop that installed my third member drove my car to your shop and one of your employees test drove my car. And they confirmed the noisy gears and stated it doesnt happen a lot. So, to point out that you havent heard my car drive with your noisy gears is a lie.Yes, you offered to change my third member (for the third time) if it is still noisy with the second set of gears that youve replaced. I spoke with Mike after he read my original review. I knew because I didnt tell him about the chatter and he mentioned it. That is a week late after he said hell call me back. I am assuming here but I probably didnt get a call back if I didnt post a review regarding my experience with your product. And yes, the third member was installed outside your shop and it actually cost me extra money to have it removed and installed for the second time. The first time it was sent back, your shop did say you didnt see anything wrong with the gears. I wasnt there to confirm it nor the shop that installed my third member. I took your word that you replaced it with another gear but it is still noisy.Im sorry but I dont see the point of making a trip back to your shop for the third time and still use the same brand (Sierra Gears). Which will have the potential of still being a lousy gear. Mike kept saying that your shop installed thousands of these brand and will have a few that will have noisy gears even installed at your shop. So, unfortunately, I am one of the few that has your lousy gears. Does that diminish your record? I dont know because I cant comment for all those few that had your noisy gears. All I am saying is this is a fact that is happening on my side. Youve reached out and I am over it and I dont want to deal your product anymore.Ive used the suggested (from your shop) gear oil without additives. I have driven the car not faster than 40 miles/hour for the first 500 miles. No heavy acceleration. I have replaced the cover on the back seat with extra dampeners/sound deadening material. Still very noisy on low speeds. I am counting this as a loss on my side. I dont expect your shop to repay me or anything. I just know that I wont be coming back to your shop and I dont have to lie if somebody will ask me who assembled my third member. Have a good day.

Replaced the differential to limited slip truetrac. These guys do a great job. Wish there were more stars to give.Mike Miller at the service department was accurate at giving exact estimate at a very reasonable price, managed to get the job done quickly, while we waited and suggested at no additional cost, to fix a noise that was caused by a loose heat shield at the bottom of the car . All together very pleasnt expiriance . Clearly they know what they are doing. The shop was recomended to me by Ford dealership who said that these guys know more about differentials than the dealership itself. After seeing how they work - I clearly understand why. Five stars .
