My husband loves this place. No waiting to get seated, arrived at 11:30am, host super friendly, place clean and is always busy. Server always super nice and fast. Bakery is always good and fresh, my favorite food is the breakfast, simple and good, big portions. I didn’t like the Chile verde tostadas, but the turkey dish and chorizo breakfast were pretty good. I give 4 starts because is the second time I didn’t like my food. But I will keep going most of the food is good next time I will order something I already had and liked it.
Brookfields restaurant, is a local family-owned American style, sit-down restaurant. Its got a large selection of tasty dishes including surf and turf salads, burgers. In addition they have lunch specials everyday Monday through Friday. The servers and hostesses and the entire crew basically are quick friendly and efficient at serving customers. The food quality is superior to other similar themed restaurants. You might expect them to charge double but they dont. Its probably two dollar signs maximum for anything at you by here out of four dollar signs. During the pandemic they had an excellent outdoor patio seating situation that allowed the restaurant to remain open during the California Covid-19 reduction / 25 per cent restriction. Come on down and support a family owned and operated efficient and tasty Delicious Restaurant.

This is one of our local favorites. Consistently good food, nice people, and very clean. Were here at least once a week. Im addicted to their Mediterranean Salata with Balsamic dressing. #Yum

Big open space with tons of seating and often packed and cozy at the same time. We love coming here for large brunches. I always get the Santa Fe Benedict and bottomless coffee. They even have a bakery section with fresh pies you can order.
Food and service is incredible! All staff is upbeat and friendly! We even moved hotels to be closer to the restaurant! The awesome rooster who hangs out outside put a smile on my face, super cute, plus loved to hear him from the hotel in the morning! We ate here 3x on our trip. The servers were exceptional, and shout out to the server Anthony, my fiancee and I both agreed he was the best server weve had at any restaurant. We will be most definitely be back!
Our lunch was so good today. Crispy fried zucchini, and our french dip meat was very tender and tasty. My only criticism is our zucchini (appetizer) came after our sandwich. Delicious so I dont care. Customer service is always top notch!
First time going out to a restaurant since everything closed. We sat out on the patio. We enjoyed our server and food. We ordered buffalo bobs steak sandwich, so delicious with the spicy mayo also ordered the Chicken fried steak and eggs, also good but steak could use a tad bit more seasoning. Fresh squeezed OJ is a must try blueberry muffin was good too. Overall great food and service.

I wish I could give 3.5 stars but Ill round down while this is in progress - dining in weve never had an issue and the food, service and atmosphere have always been great.For our first takeout and visit in over a year however, the order was messed up (1/3 dishes wrong) and the food was packed in a haphazard manner - fried fish on top of fries with wet veggies just strewn about - nothing was appetizing after a 15min drive.They did however offer to refund the meal via phone and recharge for the remaining 2/3 which was great, but as of this review Ive been charged twice and not refunded yet...

First of all, these people are so nice. Very hospitable and the food was pretty darn good too. I asked for the corn beef hash and eggs, came with a biscuit but they were out so they brought me a cinnamon roll. It was all tasty and priced well. I will definitely return to try something else.
Brookfield doesn’t disappoint whenever we go there. It’s always good and fulfilling. Atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. It’s busy on the weekends so either u go early or late or go in the weekdays.

Its amazing!!! The menu is full off flavor filled items. There were soooo many great choices. The food was delicious. The mimosas were outstanding! Our server - Kiwi, was beautiful, charming, and exceptional at taking care of us. I will visit every time I am in California!!!!

This place has been open pretty much throughout the pandemic, a life saver for travellers and visitors. That said, the food is delicious, Im partial to the sweet potato pancake breakfast. But everything is good. Spacious open room environment, outdoor seating if desired. Staff are friendly and very efficient. Great place, Zippy is extraordinary! Good coffee, thats important.

We were a group of 10 and we were seated promptly. We went to Brookfields in part for their Prime Rib Special which they have each week, but were disappointed as they were out of Prime Rib by 7pm. To be fair this may be a supply issue and not a lack of preparation as we were all satisfied with their gracious apology.I recommend an early dinner for those intent on Prime Rib.

I had a lovely breakfast here. I enjoyed the hospitality and it felt nice to have that hometown feel. The food quality is always the best and the flavors cannot be beat. I have been here for all three meal settings and you will not leave hungry or disappointed. Give them a try, youll be glad you did. Dont forget, they have pies too.
A great place for breakfast or brunch. There is usually a 5 to 15 min wait on a weekend morning. The staff is busy, yet always friendly. As seen below the food portions are plentiful. Both in door and out door seating is available. There are a few television monitors which means you can still catch a college or NFL game.

The food here was delicious, the food came out fast, and the service was superb. I came here for dinner, and I was thrilled with the quality of the food and how the price of it did not break the bank. In town for business and this restaurant was pretty much in the same parking lot as our hotel. Decided to eat here one morning for breakfast, called to get it to go, so I can just take it back to my room. I saw the food reviews and noticed all of the cars constantly coming and going, so I figured the food was pretty good. I ordered one of their meals, pancake, eggs fried hard, bacon, orange juice, and a side of apple pie. The breakfast and fresh squeezed orange juice was great! When I went inside, I was so surprised that they had it ready so quickly with all of the people in there! The host was so sweet and helpful letting me know who/where I go to for pickup orders. The only thing that didnt taste good was the apple pie, but other than that everything was great. I also thought it was nice as I went inside to pick up my food, there was a sign that said they allow dogs while you eat on the patio, thats always a plus for dog owners. I think next time Im in town Ill sit and eat at the restaurant.
We went here twice while in town. It was walking distance from the hotel. The lines were out the door so we figured it was good and worth the wait. Day 1 we had a party of 4 and waited about 10 minutes. Second day we had a party of 14 and waited 15 minutes!Great service. Great food. What else do you want?

Since moving to the sac area this has been my go to for a relaxed atmosphere restaurant with a little bit of everything. They have alot of southern type food, comfort food, burgers, sandwiches, steak and more. Never had a bad meal here!

At first Ill admit I wasnt excited about coming here, because it seemed like just a slightly higher scale Dennys. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and with a family of four, getting a bill under $70 when I ordered probably the most expensive thing on the menu, I was both pleased and shocked.They kept better spacing than a lot of places and the service was actually quite fast for the amount of customers.They could probably use some more gluten free dessert options but aside from that this was great.
I love diner style restaurants and Brookfields gives that vibe. Ive come for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have good portions and prices and staff is so friendly.Some super favorites are Santa Fe Benedict, Green Chili Pork Omelet, and the Tuna Melt. The Dad Burger is pretty good too. They can get busy on weekends for breakfast but service is fast enough that the wait isnt long.
Love it has a lot of good choices of different stuff going to come back soon.

Great Job Brookfields Resteraunt!!Second visit to Brookfields during my business trip and I am pleased to say I will be stopping by here each day before I leave to try new food on the menu.Breakfast: I had the country fried steak and eggs In which I have tried this dish almost everywhere I go and this one was in my top 3. I loved their homemade batter and the crispiness of the crust I was able to cut the steak with a fork in most cases. The potatoes were cooked with a nice burnt crisp in some parts which I typically enjoy. I think there biscuit would be on my favorite list with its delicious homemade spread. I do think the gravy could use a slight improvement but overall great job!Dinner: I had the turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy on a bed of stuffing, which I devoured. Felt like I was at my families thanksgiving dinner and I stuffed my plate with my favorites food.Sorry I didnt capture a photo of the turkey dinner, it was nice to look at but my phone was dead!

The only thing I was critical about was the fact that we were seated next to somewhat loud people when the place was nearly empty. It really wasnt a problem but why crowd people together if its unnecessary?The other thing was it looked like instead of a napkin they gave us paper towels from an industrial roll of paper towels.This really is a restaurant worth trying in spite of those minor things.

The food here is always good. I wouldnt say it amazes me but consistency is key.I know what to expect when I go here I never get surprised. The service is always very fast and helpful.As far as the portion size its very large portions. You never leave hungry type of place. Most of the food seems to be from scratch and generally very good. The menu has everything from traditional breakfast to Mexican food to more southern style food.There are a few food spots in the area but I generally come here becauseI always know what to expect.
I havent been to this location in a long time so it changed a lot. It was very busy for lunch. And they were well staffed. We received our food very timely. My salad was not good at all. But my sandwich was good so thats why Im giving the 3.5. our server was very nice. if I go there again I will avoid all salads and just get something else if I go there again.

The only reason for 3 stars is the good customer service upon picking up my phone order. We ordered a kids spaghetti and the noodles just broke apart ... no consistency at all. We also ordered the Carved roast beef, medium. It arrived very well done and it was supposed to come with horseradish and I got sour cream... What!??? The mashed potatoes that came with it were cold. The steak salad my Wife ordered was good though. I feel like we just came on a bad night.

I work graveyards and Brookfields is my go to in the morning at 6am when I get off work. We usually hit them up every Saturday or Sunday. Flash is almost always our server and she is ah-mazing!! I cant say enough good things about her. Shes friendly and great at what she does. She always remembers our order and knows we always have beers with breakfast. She definitely deserves a raise!

My family and I have been dining at Brookfields for many years. Today we had one if the best experiences at any restaurant. Bernardo was our waiter and he was so nice and friendly. He made sure that our food and drinks were full and served in a timely manner. And even with the Covid restrictions I was even presented with a piece of cake with a candle for my birthday. Overall we had an amazing experience.
Awful. I have never had such a terrible experience here. I have been coming here my whole life. The Onion rings were dried out and very thin the onions were almost non-existent. The Vegan patty I liked was replaced with a Kale patty that makes me sick just thinking about a Kale patty. I not ever come back.

The staff and managers were very helpful in putting together a small delivery order for a family funeral. Even though I was not able to be there in person and had a hard time communicating with meal delivery apps, Brookfields staff kept in touch with me via phone until the order was accomplished. And I heard it was delicious!
Food was of the consistency that is has been for the past 25years. Service was excellent. Best part. Indoor Dinning. Tip your wait staff even better in these times. We take for granted having a meal served to us and they depend on tips. With fewer people, less tips.

Loved this place, would come again. We went for a sunday morning brunch and loved it. Overall environment is very nice, staff is friendly, service ia excellent. We did not have to wait for a long time to get our meal. Their coffee is very good. We had omlettes, pancakes and biscuits. Everything was delicious.
