We have been looking for a good place to get hardwood for our wood turning projects, and this is our new favorite place to go in Sacramento. They have a beautiful selection of wood and wonderful customer service!

Came by this location to pick up some plywood but the employees were not very helpful. Bought 4 pieces of 8’x4’ and one employee was rude about the condition of the plywood. Said it’s suppose to be missing chunks and corners. If I want better I pay more. One guy helped me load the four pieces to a cart and then I paid at the register. Was offered no help to load the plywood into my truck. I managed to load them on my own. I won’t be going back here to get any type of wood products!

Inventory is nearly depleted. Wasted my time.

There is excellent service, and then there is above and beyond. I called Aura Hardwood asking for stock and prices to which the staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Thats great all by itself but then I couldnt go in person and had to send a friend to pick up the lumber. My friend doesnt know wood and had to ask for assistance, to which they had no trouble getting it, and the staff was patient and helpful with my poor friend who was trying their best. I had fairly complicated needs and I got everything I wanted at prices I loved. I use lumber for CNC work and I would absolutely recommend this place to ANYONE. They dont treat you like garbage if you dont know what youre looking for and they are patient and helpful with everyone, both on the phone and in person. Ill be buying all my hardwood here from now on.

Love this place. Great stock on hard to find hardwoods. Its not a poser store. Great supplies for builders and novices. And very good service; by a knowledgeable staff.

Good product. Service is a little short but they are always super helpful. Good prices. Huge selection. They can mill things for you as well.

Aura has every wood species you need. From Alder to Zebra wood. They have solid prices and awesome customer service! If you need materials delivered, they even do that. I highly recommend these guys. They even have a unique stain that ages raw wood and makes it look old. THEY HAVE EVERYTHING!

This place is pretty much worthless if youre not a major contractor. Service was bad. I was the only customer and still got pointed in the general direction of what I wanted only to find out that its all Random pieces.. No size organization, just a pile of wood.
