It may be different in your area but it’s free delivery if you purchase 5 yards or more of different materials and they can fit two different materials in each truckload which is really nice. The group of guys in their friendly knowledgeable and if needed have the resources to get tandem truck and trailer for a really big jobs. I’ve also called many of the yards in the Sacramento Valley and they all seem comparable in price.

This is the third time Ive ordered and had delivery from this business. I had a great experiences each time both at the shop with friendly and knowledgeable employees, in addition to a timely delivery that same afternoon with an equally friendly and knowledgeable employee who came to deliver. This establishment provides clean and quality products at a great value with excellent staff members!! You cant ask for more. I ordered cedar and round rock.

My wife and I have used Nimbus Landscape before and have been happy in the past. This is the first time weve used them since the pandemic, and I dont know if things have changed, but we didnt get what we paid for.We ordered 5 yards of compost, delivered. The delivery driver was terrific, and deposited the material exactly where I asked. I didnt have to sign anything for the delivery, which I thought was odd. Anyway, I immediately noticed the stench of steer manure in the pile when the driver left. I grabbed a large McDonalds ice tea cup with a lid, scooped it full of material, and headed down to Nimbus.When I asked, the guy at the desk told me there was no steer manure in their compost; that the only thing they had with manure with it was another product with chicken manure in it. He walked me outside to show me the chicken manure product, and sure enough, it smelled like chicken poop. We went back inside and I had him take a whiff of the cupfull of compost that I brought with me. It stank heavily of steer manure. He said he couldnt smell it and just looked at me. I felt like I was talking to Obi Wan Kenobi. (These are not the droids you are looking for. I told him that it clearly stank of manure. He took the cup back to his manager in another room, came back out after a minute or so and told me that the manager couldnt smell anything unusual either. (These are not the droids you are looking for.) I felt like he practically waved his hand in front of me like Obi Wan.I guess their theory is, deny, deny, deny, and when asked again, deny some more. I walked away not knowing what to do, stuck with 5 yards of steer manure infused compost. I understand that they dont have complete control of the products they offer coming in from different suppliers, but what ticks me off the most is that they clearly lied to me and expected me to just walk away like the obedient gullible consumer.

I really enjoyed visiting Nimbus, the reason I gave them only 3 stars was due to the fact of not being able to find out any percentages of the ingredients in the soils they sell. When I asked if I could speak with the person who mixes the soils they wouldnt give a number to reach them or an e mail to touch base.

They had the compost I needed and had excellent customer service. I was helped promptly, given the information I needed to choose the right product, and quickly served to get me on my way to finish my landscape project!

No nonsense, got me in and out quick. Love this place.

Great selection of gravel, stone, soil and pretty much everything you need for landscaping, all at a reasonable price. I bought a bunch of river pebbles, which I bagged myself - half the price of buying the same type of stone at Home Depot. They supply the bags and either a shovel or scoop. Worth the effort for sure, although their delivery prices are reasonable as well.

If you have any sort of pick up.. anything with an open bed.. theyll load it with a tractor... bring tarps.. good for keeping different materials separate.. rather than bagging..Good selection of barks and other surface covers. . Assorted rock from small gravel to grapefruit size..Yard staff is very helpful

Very overpriced compared to year ago

I dont ever have the time to rate businesses, but this particular local landscape company deserves a bit of my time they are great with customer service pricing communication, I have dealt with many other bulk material companies and by far these guys are the easiest to work with and the friendiest. And wouldnt you know its the dying aspect of customer service, These guys have it. I highly recommend these guys thank you

Great staff, you can buy as much as you need, selection is on point. Fast and efficient. Mulch, Sod, Compost blend, Landscape rocks(purchased).They always have sound advice and are easy to work with over the phone or in person. I usually check here first before Lowes and HD now that Im in the know of what this place provides.Wish you guys were open on Sunday but everyone deserves a day of rest on a weekend.Thanks.

The staff are always helpful and polite.

Prices are fair and people are very nice, but the river gravel is really bad. If you use this on your drain without thoroughly cleaning the 1/3 silt, sand and gravel, youll just clog everything in a year. I spent days and hundreds of gallons of water washing 4 yards. I was left with over a yard of trash that I had to haul away.
