I just had a ton of work done on my car this week before leaving CA to go back home to CO.From OC to Rancho a red lightning bolt came on and the engine started sputtering. I got off the freeway and headed straight to Discount Auto Repair Center.Not only did they get me right in, they fixed what the other guys messed up within 30 minutes! Super nice and efficient guys! I really appreciate them and highly recommend their service!

I came to this auto center last year to repair my engine, and again this year to have a starter and brake booster replaced. I’m so happy that my car is running smoothly again. Steve has been really helpful and genuine. He gave me options and helped me choose what was best for my car each time. I don’t have a lot of experience with service outside the dealership, but in comparison to this place, I’ve saved a lot of money for essentially the same results. It’s worth a visit when you’re having car troubles. Also, there’s a lot to do in the area at walking distance if you have to wait for same day service.

This place used to be great, but now they are really full of it. I’ve used them for 3-4 years now and I’ve had by far the worst experience ever the last time I went. Steve should run this shop, because the old man is super rude and is clearly trying to leach money out of his customers now. I’m done coming here for any sort of maintenance or repairs. Pulled off my tires and they’ve stripped my screws on my rotors and even knocked the head off one of the screws. Came here for a problem and after 900 dollars the problem was still not fixed and I was over charged on parts and got stuff done I DID NOT need to get done. Prices are cheap for a reason. Take your business elsewhere.

THEY DAMAGED AND STAINED MY CARs INTERIOR!!!I went to the shop to check on my car and I was in shock to find all the parts in the trunk and some of them touching the interior roof and walls! They promised to clean it which never happened!!!When I got my car back I couldn’t believe how they messed it up :@ My baby was clean like new and now the beige top roof and walls are all dirty with OIL stains!!!

I went here To found out what’s going on with my bmw cause it’s idling turns out all of my spark plugs were all worn out. I was out on a budget but they did they’re best to make sure my budget would fit. Best reliable and very feasible shop for your vehicles maintenance

Avoid this place at all costs! Their manager lied to us from the beginning. It was supposed to be a 1 day job basic maintenance a timing belt and water pump change. I went there on 2nd day to take my car paid them the full amount and after that they told me my car is not running and they will try to figure it out. It’s been 1 month in their shop and they told us different reasons but not the truth! Got the car to Lexus Dealership they found out that Discount Autorepairs put the timing belt wrong and after that they tried to rebuild the engine and still they put the camshaft wrong upside down! All this happened without us knowing anything! It’s been 2 months now and I still don’t have my car and the estimate for repairs is $4300 !!!!!

This place is what youve been looking for in a repair shop! Took my car over to get an estimate of some repairs. Awesome people over there. They know their job, way better then household names. You want your vehicle fixed go to them first, awsome costs to fix and they will make sure its done right. I have a few more repaires to do and ill update if my view changes.

I love this place. Its very artistic with a historic Route 66 showcase, the tires lined up, shiny, and gold/silver, and black lacquer walls. Im so comfortable on the couch with whatever TV shows Id like to watch. Super awesome Steve makes sure the car is done on time and is affordable. Ive been back over 10 times with multiple car and never am disappointed. Did I mention theres water and coffee for free?

Be aware ! I was never informed they are going to take the engine apart and replace gaskets and crankshaft parts because a mechanic droped a tool or somekind of magnet in the cilinders or engine compartment. Steve the manager only admited that after I complained to BAR for taking too long replacing a timing belt. He never called me with updates He apparently didnt know about that because their mechanics order parts and replace without leting owner or shop manager know. They refused to refund my money. You cant trust these guys after lying, changing their story everytime and trying to get away with this.Towed my car to dealership

Love getting my car maintenance done here. Albert the owner is great, very personable. The first time I came here I really felt this place was honest and full of integrity. Being a woman, I dont know much about cars but I was given a thorough explanation regarding repairs that needed to be done. Really great knowledgeable mechanics . They know what theyre doing and arent in it to rip you off. Replaced parts for free while car was being fixed as it was already disassembled.The sales rep, Steve was the active mechanic working on my car. He was very professional and respectful. Very modest prices. Probably the top rated mechanics in the area.

I had spoke to one of the mechanics here over the phone about running a diagnostic since my car was showing the check engine light. He gave me pricing, an appointment and a lot of information about what needed to be done. When I got there, there was an older man in the reception area who treated me very disrespectful like I had no idea what I was talking about, even though I knew all of the information from the mechanic the previous day. He basically told me there was nothing they could do for me and it was pointless for me to be there. I honestly feel really upset with this whole situation, I don’t think it was fair for this man to treat me so dismissively.

Prices are very reasonable. These guys do a good job on their work and if there any problems, they make sure to go out of their way to take care of the customer. Steve was very polite and professional. Great customer service! You should definately give them a try!

I needed my fan clutch and oil changed on my durango.I supplied the part i got at oreillys . Staff was friendly and installed the part quickly and reasonble rate. Part wored out great no more overheating. Towing 6700 lbs trailer 55 mph in 112 f weather. All good. . thanks discount auto.

My name’s Morgan. My dad called the shop because the shop I had been taking my Volvo to had been overcharging me and apparently not doing the work right. When I came here they fixed my car for $600 less than what I was quoted for from the shop I went to. The next day my car was STILL messed up, Steve told me to call a tow company and they will take care of the tow. It turned out the repair the previous auto shop had made (replacing a cable that cost $500) was put in completely wrong and Steve fixed it for free. My car runs perfect now! Thanks guys

I took my girlfriends car in to have the transmission oil changed and the gasket for the Pan for the transmission replaced Because it was leaking, the technician told me because the oil was old it was not necessary just to add more oil to it... He flat out lied!! They just dont wanna change the gasket in the Pan, I recommend you go somewhere, this is not the place to wanna go to!!

Cheap service, my car spilled all of its transmission oil and they helped me mickey mouse it up again so i can get home. otherwise i wouldve been stranded there. i do appreciate it

I called and the person i talked to doesnt even know what the hell is b13 service. When he finally found out what it is he told me it will cost 280+ which is higher than dealership which is only 189!!!!! Smh. Idk about taking my car if they didnt know what the hell theyre doing.
