Ive been going to the Ladera Ranch office for years, had my glasses made from that office and didnt have any problem in the past. Recently I decided to transfer to this office because its closer to my home. I came in to get my eyes checked, got new pair of glasses paid for out of pocket. Within a week I had to come back for recheck. They increased my prescription then sent my new pair of glasses back to the lab. I waited for another 10 days thinking this time the glasses will be right. I picked up the glasses and theyre still not right. I went back for another recheck and this time they told me it will cost me another $275 to redo my glasses. Ive been to the Ladera Ranch office, had my glasses made there and Im still wearing the same pair until this day. I asked them if the RSM and Ladera Ranch systems are linked, and they can see the patients record they said yes. If they can see my record and what type of glasses I had made there then why they still prescribed me something doesnt fit my eyes condition? I already paid almost $600 plus insurance coverage of my first visit to get my glasses made. When I got home and received a call from this office that they said they would give me 50% off if I want to send my glasses back for redo. I told them I would not, I already paid so much for them and that I would not go back to their office and the girl on the other side could not hang up the phone any faster. I would never go back to this office, they just have loss all my familys business. What a disappointment.

My family have been coming to RSM Optometry for nearly 30 years. Their professionalism, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable doctors and staff have always been top notch. Recently I’ve had medical issues with my eyes and they would get me in within a couple days. I go many times to get my glasses adjusted and Cybil is always willing to help me out, and no charge since I get my glasses through them. Dr. Smith, Dr. Koepke, & now Dr. Lavender, all take the time to listen and educate on our eyes, glasses, and contacts. We wouldn’t go anywhere else as long as we are in the area. They are the BEST and Highly Recommend them!!!

I have been coming here for years with my whole family and love this place . I especially like the friendliness of the staff and surprisingly gives time to show my 12 yr old an image of the back of an eye. Couple this with Dr. Jones’ patience and caring for us is fantastic . Optometry could have more of a selection but overall I am pleased with the accommodation given to my family .

Dr. Meghdadi & staff were terrific! Everyone was so nice from scheduling to exam even checkout was painless on the wallet. I had been seeing Kathleen Anderson in RSM who was overcharging me for exams & told me I had glaucoma. Dr. Meghdadi put my fears aside by confirming that I do not have glaucoma. She is so friendly and kind. She didn’t make you feel rushed & answered all our questions. Unlike Kathleen Anderson’s staff, who were rude, Dr. Meghdadi’s staff were so happy and so nice. Front desk was exceptional! They greeted us with a friendly smile and Chris who did our eye tests was so so kind and patient. Me & my husband will be coming here for now on.

Horrible customer service. I was upfront about purchasing inexpensive glasses and told Cybill Jung that I was not interested in spending a lot of money because my primary use is for driving at night. She selected 3 pairs for me to try on and convienced me to spend $10 more on the middle priced glasses, which was fine. I went to pick them up today and was told I have a balance of over $30 on my account for the glasses. Cybill came to the desk and told me I changed my mind last minute which upped the price over $40 not $10. This is a complete lie. I never changed my mind about the glasses. She made a mistake and is making me pay for it. She was not sympathetic towards the situation at all. She was unfriendly and a little aggressive. My family will not be going back based off this experience.

Our whole family are big fans of Dr. Smith and wonderful and talented team at Rancho Santa Margarita Optometry. Professional, caring and just darn great Doctor and eye care professionals. Highly recommend.

For more than 20 years I have seen Dr. Steven Smith and his staff for my eye care.They have been very professional and friendly, and helped even in difficult situations.The new (for quite a some years already) location is more tricky to find, but the office has more space, is super clean. Also you find a very good selection of frames there.I do recommend the doctors office to friends and people in the RSM area.P.S. there is no one in that office that does not speak good English. That customermust have received a wrong connection.

I saw Dr. Smith this last week and thought for sure my eyes were in seriously bad shape. After spending time with Dr. Smith, he was so thorough, timely, so knowledgeable, yet very patient, kind and understanding with the questions I had for him. He was spot on with the new lenses I needed and he made it all seem just so easy. His staff was just as exceptional. Kind, pleasant and very welcoming! Given the appt. was at 5pm, when everyones day is done, the staff was still going strong, very positive and happy. The entire experience was so refreshing. I will be bringing my entire family to Dr. Smith! One and done as they say!

I moved out of the state and still fly back to California because I know I could not find a better or equally as good eye doctor any where else. Top notch, above and beyond quality care.

If you’d like to find a caring and thorough Optometrist this would be the place to look. We’ve been patients for 17 years! Ladera Ranch location is also available.A few examples of care that was above and beyond: my husband was hit point blank in the eye with a baseball during a game. It was a scary injury and we weren’t sure where to go so called the office and Dr. Smith called right back- on a Sunday evening. After a few questions to ensure his vision was intact he met us at his office, opened up the building and treated him... on a weekend night.Second, I’m the type of eyeglasses shopper who takes hours to find a pair. Nothing but patience with me. When I couldn’t settle one year they suggested I search at their other office as they had different inventory. Problem solved. That is how I met Dr. Jones, who spends most of her time in Ladera office (Ladera Ranch Optometry). She is so thoughtful and responsive to my subtle vision changes that interrupt my life more than once a year. I could not recommend her more highly.Lastly, between all of us we have had multiple acute eye problems as well as visual changes in short period of time for me, there has never been a time that we haven’t been seen as urgently as needed.

This week, I had another in a long line of wonderful experiences at RSM Optometry. I easily rescheduled my appointment due to Jury Duty, was seen promptly when I arrived, received terrific care in the screening and exam procedures. Pantea Meghdadi, O.D. was great in explaining all aspects of my eye exam and my options.

I have been a customer for over a year, agreed on August 28th to schedule my yearly eye exam with a lead time of 14th September 2017. Called this morning to try and confirm and was advised that they would be calling to confirm later today 09/13/2017. I spoke wit two separate people both of which had zero clue of my name even though I spelt it out clearly to the first??Total disregard for the customers needs and very certainly not customer centric

Too often negative reviews are posted, but when we have a great experience we dont think to give proper credit. I just had my 2nd annual eye exam with Dr. Meghdadi. The cheerful, very pleasant attitudes of Dr. Meghdadi and her staff are very refreshing. I was promptly brought in to the exam area after arriving, finished the pretesting and then very soon after that Dr. Meghdadi came in. She is very thorough, informs the patient what she is going to do and then discusses her findings. She answers questions and spends the time needed to help you understand - and you never feel rushed. Then I went to choose eyeglass frames - and that was a pleasant experience as well. I was not rushed at all and received valuable input regarding everything I tried on. I called later in the day to let the staff know which frames I had decided on and I spoke with another staff member who was just as pleasant as all of the others. I am truly impressed by the pleasant demeanor of all who work in this office. It is a very well-run office and Dr. Meghdadi is great. If you are looking for someone to see for your eye health - I would definitely recommend Dr. Meghdadi and her staff at RSM Optometry.
