ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PLACE TO TAKE YOUR VEHICLE. The owner, Jim, is an excellent and very well seasoned mechanic. Also very honest, which is so important when dealing with your car. I dont ever worry about a thing when I take my car to Jim for service. I have complete peace of mind with both service and price. The shop is so welcoming! The office manager, Kathleen, is absolutely lovely and such a pleasure to work with. I love the flowers outside! If you are looking for excellent service and a smile every time, bring your car here to Raymond Foreign Auto. Such a great place! Highly recommended!
My husband and I both highly recommend Raymond Foreign Auto!! We have 5 vehicles and always been happy with the professional service as well as the cost of repairs. We have been going to RFA for 18+ years and have tried other businesses locally and none of them can match RFA.Anyone that says different either need a new car or have not been to another business, because Jim (RFA) is the most honest and reliable around! I had another business tell me I needed my brake lines done for inspection and took it to RFA and they never even mentioned that and still havent! So good luck to those that go somewhere else!!
Jim was great! Easy in and out safety inspection for my motorcycle! Good price too. Shop is remarkably tidy.
Excellent mechanic! I will always bring my vehicles here over any other auto shop.
They were very nice.. Good price..no problems..i will be going back
Got me in quickly, fair prices (less than we have paid elsewhere), and Kurt was very courteous and professional when explaining the work. On top of all that, THEY DETAILED THE INSIDE OF THE CAR!!! I am a very happy customer! (Guys, I have three kids. That car was gross inside, and now it is lovely again.)
Here’s the senario late January 2019 goes in shop for lack of power no pick up awful squealing . Replaces not 4 but 2 ignition coils almost $500 March 2019 still not fixed has had noise but now awful noise from exhaust system says flex pipe another almost $500 June STILL lack of power no pick up squealing is worse than it’s ever been. Breaks down then diagnoses catalytic converter now $160 to diagnose and wants $1325 for that and holding car until the $160 paid. Feeling taken advantage of !!
Was recommended to Raymond Foreign Auto from another local shop, who told me of their quality work. I have brought 3 cars in for service and been highly satisfied with the workmanship, but especially the down to earth friendly nature of the owner Jim. Highly recommend.
Grumpy and dishonest!Ive been going here for two years with no major issues other than a grumpy owner which I can live with. However I took my car in this week for a wheel bearing repair and that changed. I was told that I also needed a new CV axle because the nut was cross threaded when installed last. I responded by reminding them that they in fact took the CV axle off my car last to remove/replace an alternator in the spring, so they had to be responsible for cross threading it. This was met with a lot of grumbling, and after some convincing Jim told me he would take $100 off.I get the bill for a bearing, axle, and balancing 4 tires (on rims already) and it was $500 (with a $100 discount). Parts were marked up 100% which is too much, I was charged $80 for balancing (not mount and balance, just balancing). I raised some questions about the bill and was met with nothing but a defensive owner who started yelling at me despite the fact that I never raised my voice. He also told me that his work was guaranteed which I found humorous given the situation. The short of it was I was charged as if the bearing and axle were two different jobs when they are in fact the same disassembly, so the axle takes literally no more time than doing only a bearing.I can handle a grumpy mechanic if he does good honest work, but you wont find it at Raymond Foreign Auto. It makes me question repairs I have had them conduct and taken their word for in the past. Its disappointing to be taken advantage of, but you can avoid it!
Honest and fair rate
