Weve been taking our vehicles to Jim and Kevin in beautiful downtown Reading for over a decade and have never been disappointed. They go above and beyond to keep my husband and I informed on what repairs our vehicle NEEDS and other things they recommend taking care of in the near future. I love that they give us an estimate BEFORE starting to do any repairs, so we arent blindsided at the end. The team is friendly, never makes us feel rushed if we have questions, and always asks about or talks to our kids when they are with us.

The price is a bit pricey but the service that comes with it and the piece of mind you get is well worth it

The team at Firestone was great. I had a screw in my tire . Since I purchased the Firestone road hazard warranty they fixed that tire absolutely free of charge. And since my Inspection was due at the end of the month my Firestone mechanic Travis saw it he asked would you like for me to inspect your vehicle. I said yes and it all was taken good care of. Scheduled me quickly and did a nice job. Werent overly forthcoming with information about my car though. I had to ask questions that other places just review with you.

One the last real authentic tire shops left in Reading, PA. Staff seems knowledgeable and nice. Will be going here again.

Had a set of 4 tires delivered to this place & when I called the number on my online receipt (It says the recievers name aswell) I was hung up on. tried calling the following day and it rang for 3 minuets no answers, so finally I decide to contact the number for the desk and I was told that my tires did not arrive and this was 3 days after they had been delivered worst experience I ever had at any place not professional go somewhere outside of town.

They were very nice and informative when I dropped my van off.

Ok so first of all I made an appt for drop off. Here at 8 in the morning. Called to check the status of my van they said it wasnt in yet now mind u its already 12 in the afternoon. So I wait, now its almost 4. I called them back to check the status of my van again and they said my ac has a leak but they couldnt find the leak and dont kw where it is leaking from. For me to take my van to the dealer. And this service cost me 50 bucks. I paid 50 bucks to kw. What I already knew, my ac doesnt work.

Quick and easy tire repair in and out. Pleasant folks all around even helped me loo through the car when y wheel lock was lost. Recommended.

Took a car I just bought with the oil warning light on and they took care of it by putting the right type of oil in it. Another place with less know how or ethics could have taken me for a very expensive ride trying to figure out what it was. And the oil change was very reasonably priced too. Loved it!!!

Kevin and the mechanics that work there are top notch. Very good at diagnosing a problem I was having with 2 of my tires. Worked me into their busy schedule and took great care of me.We have also purchased tires for 4 of our vehicles from them over the years. They do a great job!

Have been going here for 30 years! Staff is knowledgeable, honest, upbeat/friendly and keep you informed about the repairs/maintenance being done on your vehicle. Pricing is fair and competitive. Make recommendations with no pressure. I trust them to take care of my vehicles and wouldnt go anywhere else!!

Took my car for all new tires with mount, balance and alignment. They were very pleasant and professional. They even tightened up a couple loose bolts.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I went there in February because my tires were bald and shot. They got me in same day and I was out in about an hour and a half tops with 4 new tires and a smile from the great service.I hit a pot hole yesterday and shredded one of my new tires. They were able to get me in the next morning and again, in and out in a little over an hour with a new tire, oil change and alignment. AND the tire was covered under the warranty.I sometimes hesitate to go “in town” for things but I’m so glad I did. This is my new “go to” shop for anything I need for my car. They are honest, personable and I feel that they do everything they can to accommodate and take care of customers. Highly recommended!

Staff is always friendly and courteous. They call directly with any concerns and keep the customer informed about steps necessary for repairs. Its very easy to get a quick appointment for an oil change or inspection.

I was offered lifetime protection on the tires I recently purchased, and Im glad I made the extra investment, because Ive been back twice with punctures and didnt pay a penny. Im treated like a valued customer (like they have time for me, no problem!) and never made to wait long. The work is done right and Im thanked when I leave.

Checked vehicle and recommend repairs. No high pressure, just made suggestions and left it up to me to decide whether or not to have them done there or not. Very good customer service, which is a rare find in the world today.

Nice initially, but was advised to buy a Hyundai instead of an Audi when I asked if there were cheaper options than their 1-year alignment. Strange comment. I dont believe I should spend more on an alignment because I own an Audi. An alignment is an alignment. Parts are a different story.

Made appointment online to get tires changed. Next day was confirmed to go in. When I went for the change they did not have the tire I reserved online . Why would you confirm my appointment if you dont have the size.

I go in to get a new tire and a couple days later my axle is leaking grease on my brake pad also same wheel and I know sometimes coincidences happen but that just seems pretty sketchy

Nice place to get your oil change. So far my car hasnt blown up and they didnt try selling me any snake oil or blinker fluid.

These guys at Firestone here in Reading are my go-to guys for everything Auto! From inspection oil change tires recommendations theyre fair honest and have great hours this Firestone is top of the list!

Took my sons car in for an oil change and tire rotation, and everything seemed fine,until the lady that was at the front counter told me there was a big problem. Im walked back to the car, still on the lift,and Im told the ball joints are bad,the guy shows me the rear ball joints and says these are really bad,they have to be replaced right now. Tells me to move the tire, and as I do another person that works there is moving the tire on the other side. OMG look how loose the ball joints are. Really,what and way to try and get some extra money from an oil change. Complete scam on their part. Went to my brothers mechanic just to make sure,Im from out of town, and was a little concerned, but NO, nothing wrong with the front end at all, what a group of scam artists, that arent even good at hiding their scam.

Have an idea of what your stock part costs before saying yes to work here. My estimate for one shock was more than twice the amount it should be because they were going to order a high performance shock by mistake. I got them both replaced with labor and tax at another Firestone for less than what my estimate for one here was. Do research, if I didnt I would have one high performance shock on one side and a standard stock shock on the other right now.

3 weeks ago, I had a flat tire that was unable to be repaired. It was into the afternoon on a Sunday. They took in my wheel and installed a new tire, getting me on my way and saving me from having to be towed.Today, I stopped in for an alignment, and their checkup found both steering tie rod ends were dangerously worn, to the point of imminent failure. They took me into the shop and showed me the excessive free play in each front wheel. This is 4pm, and we are scheduled to leave on vacation tomorrow morning, pulling a travel trailer. They are staying late this afternoon to install the parts and see that our travels are safe.Very highly recommend the honest, thorough and friendly people at this location!!

Took my car there for a flat tire repair. It turned out that my tire was intact. There was leakage in the valve. They decided to replace the valve without my approval. Charged me $30 to replace the valve ($7 for parts and $21 for labor). I would suggest you take your business somewhere else.

This Is The Worse Firestone Ive Ever Been To. Been Here Not Once But Twice For An Alignment And Both Times It Was Done Incorrectly So I Went To Another Shop For A Second Opinion And Turns Out The I Was Right And Due To The Alignment Being Done Incorrectly It Ruined My Front Passenger Tire Which Was An Inconvenience Also Put My Life At Risk Because The Tire Was Ready To Pop Never Again
