This place has awesome espresso, sandwiches, and pastries. Whether iced or hot, the drinks come out great. I really like the chill vibe and the industrial atmosphere they have going on. Theres plenty of seating by windows or in the back, with big comfy chairs. Nero is definitely one of the best cafes in the area!

A lovely cafe with very good selection of coffees, teas, pastries and sandwiches. The staff is very friendly and quality of all things they prep is high. Pre-pandemic time the cafe can fill up very quick and tends to be a little too hot with the fireplace constantly running, the kitchen and everyone that’s there.Fast, yummy, and well priced franchise cafe that is exactly what Reading needs.

Scones are raw inside. My two experienced have been very disappointing first one I had was raw. So this week I tried again. Raw inside. I will say outside is perfect crisp and looks perfect but not so much on the inside. Cook lower heat or make them smaller.

I was there with my service dog and the staff made me leave. Terrible communication skills. They made me feel discriminated. I had to show them the paperwork and I still left. I feel really offended.

The Café is decent on the outset, with fun retro setting and a fabulous foosball table; however, two things are significantly 🪧 lacking, especially in comparison with its fellow franchise cousins, most notably its Winchester neighbor:1) Baristas make inferior quality lattes and the sandwiches 🥪 are mediocre (bread not freshly soft, often still feeling frozen 🥶 down the middle; the filling not all the way heating to melt in with the said cold bread 🥖).😬2) Older lady - Lead barista (pseudo manager?) from Eastern Europe (Stasi?!😳)is obnoxiously rude, time and time again 👉🏻 a) behaving with rude manners at the point of order b) speaking in a condescending manner c) having a clear and present prejudice and insecurity and projecting it onto customers, constantly targeting them, week after week. 🙀I recommend moving into a more welcoming, warmer and friendlier atmosphere and environment just a few miles over❣️☝🏻😏👌🏻

My husband and I enjoyed an amazing caramel latte made by the lovely Hannah in an artsy-yet-cozy cafe atmosphere. Bring your laptop or current read, sit by the fire, and drink up. ☕️

Great service and atmosphere. Plenty of comfortable seating. Its a little on the expensive side but playing a game or two of FREE!! fusbol more than makes up for it. Great spot for families, business meetings, and studying.

I’m giving it 3 stars cause my sandwich was okay. When I was at the front ordering I saw little flies on the scones. The sandwiches are pre-made so they just sit in the display all afternoon which is slightly unsettling. My boyfriend and I both ordered different drinks but they tasted the same. Cool interior but that’s about it.

Great place to relax with a cup of coffee, pastry. Casual and relaxed living room-style furniture with also several diner/restaurant-style tables. They serve sandwiches etc that I did not try. Good music mix (eg Stevie Wonder early 70s) on stereo played not loud.

Caffe Nero in Reading Center is excellent. We went there for the ambience and great coffee but were served by this wonderfully polite gentlemen who made us feel very welcome and made us delicious protein and veggy packed frittatas (a great ending to a beautiful day in the outdoors). I sincerely hope this coffee chain grows fast and takes over the mediocre coffee shops on every corner ...no need to mention names :)

Coffee is always made well and the frappes are better than Starbucks. The pastries are fresh and always delicious. The best part however, is the great service. Friendliest baristas around.

Great coffee, cozy environment. Mostly carny foods and deserts, which are excellent, but not a great place for a low carb diet. Because its great and people linger, it gets crowded, but I have yet to be stuck without a place to sit.

A nice place to sit and have a bite to eat or a coffee. Parking here is limited so it isnt the easiest place to stop in, grab what you need and then leave.

AMAZING SERVICE! I have multiple severe food allergies and finding restaurants that accommodate is extremely tricky. The man who helped me was so enthusiastic and thoroughly informed me of their policies and the ingredients of each product. Amazing atmosphere and staff, definitely check it out!

Meh. International chain with supposedly superior coffee. Drip coffee is no more flavorful than Dunkin. Pastry is typical Starbucks-like stuff delivered the night before. Manager was the only one on duty one afternoon and completely ignored me while holding court with someone at the end of the counter. Gave him 2 minutes then walked out. Did not acknowledge me in either direction. There are several family-owned bakery/coffee shops in the area. Visit them instead.
