Having visited this store several times now and getting to know some of the employees, I am impressed at how they respond to customer needs and requests. A special thank you to Kyle (manager) for responding promptly to my requests regarding the cleanliness of the parking lot and garbage areas. I know it is a difficult thing to keep up with. I encourage people to patronize and support this store!

It dont take long for a quick stop by trip. The place is kinda a wreck because they dont really have the time to clean up mess others make or keep it fully stocked. But as long as your are respectful to staff they are respectful to you.

Need more help at the register. Taking nothing against the employees as they were very nice, helpful and made every attempt to expedite the customers visit. Very impressed with the staff. They get 5 stars IMO

Store is always messy. Nothing is ever stocked on the shelves. Workers are rude and lazy.

Looks good from outside but a total mess inside. Stuff where it doesnt belong. Boxes in the way. Not stocked well at all. Definitely needs work or shut down so bad

They have cute little things you cant find other places. A nice selection of plus size clothing and pajamas. The store is a little tight and some aisles are tight.

This store is a mirror image of what it used to be! Most of the shelves are not full. It can be difficult picking up household items because you never know whether they have it in stock or not. It can be a real pain to have to stop 2 different places when this location doesnt have the item stocked.

I came last minute but enough time to grab what I needed before they closed but the doors were locked and they just watched me with the most rude face as they checked the last people out. I realize it’s the end of the night but that’s just lazy.

Yhis family dollar sucks cant keep help dirty and the help they have so rude. Please get someone in there with dignity and respect .I thought you found the right person but put in. Management and everything went bad now the whole store is nastier people stealing walking out with everything. Family Dollar Reading Ohio do something quick before the shelves are bare and it has to close. People want this store we just want it cleaned up, it takes a team everyone should be putting up truck cant sell it if its not on the shelves. Make them all work and take pride in thier job.

I found what I was looking for even though the clerk didnt even know they sold what I was looking for. I was trying to find an inexpensive/dollar stylus.

Hit or miss location. Parking lot always looks terrible, known for closing early, staff always smells like weed, and staff is often rude. Also, you can never walk through the isles without the risk of tripping over a box or cart that is often blocking the way. New management is probably needed..

Newer building and store has a more organized feel to it than some stores.

Some of the ladies there could of been nicer to other customers, my neighbor wasnt treated as nicely as I was but the cashiers did change out an she had a difderent one then I had.

Not very organized and hard to find products that you want.

Always so crowded and crazy waits in the checkout lane. I think the people in the back should offer assistance when the line is almost back to the front door.

Family Dollar on Reading is a lot like that annoying drunk uncle who shows up at every family function with a warm can of Hudepohl, telling the same unfunny anectdotes while flirting with his under age niece: sort of gives you the heebiest of jeebies with every visit, but you cant help but be amused and somewhat entertained. In the end, you take his low quality charm in stride, for without him, life would be a bit less exciting.

Store is dirty as well as the parking lot. Lawsuit waiting to happen with all the merchandise on the floor.

They close at 9pm. At 8:50 two store clerks are standing at the door telling me and others that they are closing. When I told them its not 9pm yet, they told me I had to hurry. What is the store policies this?

I go there at least 3x a week most if the time the workers are very friendly to everyone aswell as myself but there has been a few times that a few workers as well as Manger has been rude and jus doesnt seen to care about the customers at all,there also was a time I had went to the store at 10 am and not a soul was there and the store doors were locked no signs at all saying they was closed one women said she was there at 8 am when they was supposed to be open and wasnt at that time also some one finally showed up to open the store by that time it was 12 noon,they lost alot of customers that day I seen this with my own eyes but all in all there are some very nice ladys and gentleman that work there...

Hot, fresh, yummy, and right away.

Seems that cooler are always almost empty. Chips and 2 liter are never stock or they dont stock enough. I think it is a very poorly ran store.

They had most of what I needed but they did not have the beef broth that I went there for I was in the middle of making soup and noticed that I had crushed tomatoes at home instead of tomato dices so I ran up to Family Dollar to buy some tomatoes and some beef broth there was three people putting up truck they said it was on truck to come back in a couple days and it would be on the Shelf that did not help me at the time
