Found many great items for a very good price. The cashier was personable and helpful. The only downside is the items are literally just dumped into the blue picking bins. Therefore, it can be difficult to peruse through the items, especially in the housewares, knick knack and toy bins. Overall, still a great place.
One of the better outlets around. Great organization, clean and keeps things moving. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
I LOVE this Goodwill! I wish it were closer to Lancaster County so I could find the way myself😄
Checkout staff was extremely friendly and efficient. I did not like the fact that as soon as the bins come out and are uncovered some people swoop in them and just toss what they look at out of the way...no courtesy for the person near them. I enjoy this type of thrifting experience, I just dont like the professional shoppers rudely tossing items in your way.
Went in to this store after a fun day at Hershey park to see what the goodwill store was like and it was my first time being in it I heard a worker berate my family member by calling them stupid will never go into a goodwill store again
Signage says it’s open but doors locked and lights off at 1:30 Sunday.
The store manager blatantly called me and my family stupid to another customer
Why would u change your hours
Feel like im digging through trash here... the bins are full of tangled wires and broken glass and literal garbage. love this place. me and the boys hittin the bins this week.
You need patience to go through all the bin clothes ....
Its goodwill, sometimes you find great clothes and sometimes you dont. At this one you have to dig through bins, so you should know its an arm workout. But thrifting can also be really fun and cheap. Lol, just dont race the carts...iykyk
Ignore the negative reviews that are from people who have no clue what a Goodwill Outlet is. This isnt the best Goodwill Outlet Ive been to. They dont change out much, dont control the rude shoppers (my local store kicks them out), and good luck finding a cart at some points in the day (the ruder shoppers hoard them with no consequences). They are regulars. Youll know them when you go. Just ignore them. Beyond that, its a fine place if you know what youre doing. Ive had great experiences.
Most disgraceful goodwill I’ve been to, half the items were stained and ripped apart. Dirty carpets on top of bins of clothes piled together. Trash bags barely opened and just dumped on top. No one bothered to actually go through the donations to deem them usable. Definitely need to organize and actually check if the donations are clean. Never seen something like this from a goodwill before
Thought I was walking into a store but shocked to see huge bins just full of stuff. No real organization just piles and piles of stuff.Heard they moved to by the pound selling but this is depressing. Not sure how you can find anything specific if that was your goal.No section for movies, music, kids cloths, or any other.Otherwise it was clean and well lit.
This is my opinion if you are a junk collector then these are your bins . If your looking for clothes then no they do not change out their clothes every few hours like other outlets I have been to . In fact I was there just yesterday and they didn’t change then once except for the hardgoods or junk as I call it. I was expecting a lot more being that it’s in the Harrisburg area and this is a big city .. Beyond disappointed is what I am . I normally travel to the Reading outlet being that there is not another one closer I live in northeastern pa. Goodwill if your reading this can you please open an outlet in my area I live in the tristate area ( N.Y N.J PA ) area it would me much appreciated . Other than that it was a total waste of my time traveling all that way to dig trough dirty clothes ..
You have dig for idea in bins. 😜
Wonderful staff and good price
Get there early or else you cant even get a cart. Wear comfortable shoes and bring gloves for diging though the bins. Amazing deals if you want to sift through unsorted bins. Came out with 4 large grocery bags, paid by the pound walked out of there with a cart full for $25
I figured this place would be like all the other goodwills I’ve been to. The ones that have the clothes hung up and in the appropriate sections and labeled as to what they are. Nope I was wrong. Walked in and all the clothes and other items are all thrown into bins and you have to pick threw the bins to see what’s there. Nothing was labeled to let you know what was in the bins. To me it was trashy looking and not what it should look like.
I had my first experience at an outlet here last week. My suggestion? Please, PLEASE stop putting clothes hangers in the household items bins! They do nothing but tangle everything up and cause a huge mess! Not to mention the holes they poke in our gloves! If you want the hangers to be available, please separate them and put them in a bin or other container by themselves!
Love shopping at Goodwill stores but if they could just pull it together and get a little more organized!! The sizing makes no sense, example - a small for pants could actually be anywhere from a size 0 to 10. Its frustrating to see something on the rack in your size only to have it be 6 sizes too big. Goodwill would do well to take a page from Savers mad organization skills.
Its a mess but after being there for a few minutes you can tell that its obviously the fault of ridiculous customers. My only complaint was that their blue bins should be cleaned more often. Simply wiped out or something. The deals are good but I tend to stay away from these blue bin goodwills.
I love this place you can buy so much good stuff in here. Like treasure game. I can spend so much time in here. Be carful the glasses things they might broken and will hurt you. Try to find the shoes in pair also a fun thing to do.
Very disorganized and dirty. Sometimes you can find a really good deal but you have to dig through bins of stuff. Clothing should be organized by gender and adults and children. Would make things so much easier.
This goodwill has some good finds if you have time to look. All items are in bins. Unlike other goodwill locations, the outlet charges you by weight. The more you buy the less the cost.
Great store! Ive been to many GW stores all over USA, but so far this is the best one! Great collection, greater price, and greatest people! I will visit this store more frequently than i usually do.
The outlet is the place to go. Its SO cheap to rummage around old books, suitcases and the like. The selection is definitely lesser than that of a regular Goodwill, but youll be happy if you find anything that piques your interest.
You can find just about anything in this thrift store. Prepare to hunt many name brand clothes and house wares! Many good gems to find.
It used to be a fun place to find good bargains, but aggressive and rude flippers and flea market vendors have ruined it. Theres still an occasional treasure to be found, but its hard to compete with professionals who literally spend all day long there and hoard merchandise until they can sort through it.
Cheap cheap cheap for all kinds of brands including name brand love the store!
This is a very interesting, unkempt experience in the world of thrifting! There are many large bins which are full of pretty much anything you could ever imagine... If you have some spare time on your hands, stop by sometime and dig through. Bring hand sanitizer! Lol. Your purchases are sold by WEIGHT - price per pound!
I love that place helps me save lots of money on kids clothes thanks for having goodwill the best place to shop God bless you guys.
Workers here are generally nice. The Manager is a nice and cool guy. Very friendly people.
Great place I love this place you can find some amazing deals you pay by the pound but for heavy stuff if you ask they will most times they will only charge you $2 for something heavy
This was an interesting experience that I do not want to experience again. The rummage fest was off-putting and I did not find value from the set up/ pure trash that was present.
Ive been to many goodwill outlets. This one so far has been the cleanest, most spacious, and actually had new decent sized carts.
Everything is sold by pound except shoes $2.75 a pair.Cool place to shop.
Nancy is super great she always has a great personality for all.
Excellent store. Great staff, always willing to help and friendly. Need more of these outlets.
This place is for people who want a mini adventure. Be prepared to search for things. Its not for the faint of heart. You buy by the pound but you can look for clothes and random things.
Only bins here but very clean and orderly store not saying merchandise is clean though- Maybe take gloves!
You can get some great deals here, and but it is hard to find items. Everything is just in blue bins everywhere. The only organization is books, other items, and clothing.
Best prices
Dirty store, no carts, no parking, parked behind store to be able to shop and they made me move it. I left them since they did not want me as a customer.
Mostly go to donate but they do have some good stuff very cheap.
I find great items and the staff is always very nice.
$$Really good deal$$- clothes weighed by the pound, books are only .25- .50 cents. They have ALOT to choose from (great selection of childrens) And the staff (Shelby) was friendly & helpful....BUT..1. The bins are HUGE- I could not reach the other side in front of me. The bins are so deep its almost a workout lifting and shuffling to get to all of them.2. Books are in no way of organization whatsoever. I will say that there are alot of kids books for every age & a great selection of adult too.3.The houseware/misc bins were mostly broken items or missing parts.I know its goodwill but they could use some TLC. Most wouldnt be able to lift the massive amout of clothes over and over without a backache. Just my opinion.
This place i like because I found good stuff
Place is like going to the trash dump. Organization is good but having trash in large bins for you to pick thru is still just TRASH?
This is a great place to find items to keep or resale.
Great service everything is so cheap
Only bring out items once a day....
Very messy, most glass and ceramics were broken. Not a good exsperience.
Very well disorganized, things just thrown into bins.. seen alot of broken items, when we went there I had to leave cause I will not ship at a place like that after seeing people just throw stuff around in the bins its just careless and this place is unprofessional and again 100℅ disorganized
I love it. Its a treasure hunt.
Love this place. So cheap, you have to work to find things but it is worth it.
Great....love it need more of them...
I enough looking at all the different treasures, and the store is kept very clean.
I mean, its okay, but not good. A majority of items are torn or broken.
If youre looking for a bargain and willing to get dirty this is the place
Cashier was not friendly at all. Asked a question and she said read the signs! Didnt wrap anything or try to help with purchase!
Fun to look threw stuff
Great for repurposed cloths
A little harder to navigate then other outlets
Great bargin
Pickers delight.
