I walked in and asked the cashier where I could find some cast iron skillets and they laughed said “everywhere”. That wasn’t very helpful.I look around for 15 to 20 mins with no help. I find a skillet and I take it with me as I venture deeper into the store. Within a few mins one of the workers who didn’t offer me any help and laughed and told me “everywhere” asked me if I wanted her to take the skillet to the cashier for me. I told her “no” it’s ok, I’m not done inspecting it. She just walked up to me and grabbed it and told it it’ll be up front. I thought that was really rude. When i got to the front I asked another worker if I did something wrong? Was I not supposed to hold on to the skillet as I looked for more stuff to buy? She didn’t answer me just changed the topic. They must’ve thought I was going to damage it or was going to steal a huge and heavy cast iron skillet somehow....
Something about huge antique stores. Nostalgic smells, books, and trinkets. Who knows, pressed within the pages of an old book or magazine or Nestles within an item may be a treasure worth millions!!
Awesome store. A favorite
The prices are okay, but being a huge antique lover I could care less because what I find there is certainly worth the sale price, and the employees are GREAT people. I got some postcards from there and one of them is from Utah dating back to 1908 and really they have great stuff.
A bit pricey, but lovely none the less!
1000s of square feet of everything you could imagine. Country, Elizabethan, 1800s time periods of furniture and all types of antiques. 3 stores back to back with 2 dealing with interior material and one with outdoor decorations. The prices are about 2/3 that of Los Angeles. 100s of dealers.
Nostalgic Wonderful Collection !!
Always friendly. Always helpful.
