My 83 year old oxygen dependent mother ordered 3 rugs to be picked up curbside. They were not available in Banning so we ordered them through the Redlands Big Lots. We drove the 24 miles to get there and called from the curbside parking area. We were told they would be right out. Fifteen minutes later, I called again. The first time they hung up. The second time a nice lady answered. She said oh, did you call before? I said yes and weve been waiting about 15 minutes. The woman apologized, stating they just had a shift change and no one told her we were waiting. So we waited another 10 minutes and then I went into the store. A woman at the front of the store told me she was called down to help because they couldnt find the items and that it said we had cancelled the order. I told her we did not cancel it and returned to the car to wait. Several more minutes passed and then she came out to say I could go in and look on the wall, but she could not find my mothers order. We were sitting in the parking lot for 40 minutes total, with the car running to keep my mothers oxygen unit charging, and for absolutely NO REASON. If you dont have the darn merchandise then dont send emails saying you do! Also, we would not have driven 50 miles round trip if we had cancelled the order. We will NEVER order from Big Lots again!!

Love this place. The staff are very nice. And polite. The bathrooms are clean ... Well stocked with toilet paper, air freshener, and paper towels.The aisles are clean, shelves are well stocked, prices are very good. You can get a lot of bang for your buck.

This Big Lots has the furniture side which I absolutely think is great. They have quality furniture for really decent prices. Was able to find a really neat dining table for under $200. And they even helped load it up into the vehicle. Very helpful, friendly employees, always enjoy their down to earth personalities while chatting with them. I realized Big Lots is probably one of the only store when I leave in a more cheerful mood.I appreciate their hardworking employees.

Very poor customer service. I was never greeted and ignored the whole time I sat there waiting for assistance. When I finally spoke up I was told that I had to wait. As I was already doing. When it became my turn one of the workers pretended to go to the back to find what I was looking for, then all of a sudden she just walks off. I will not ever shop at big lots again just because they hire rude prejudice people that have no manners. There is no manager that make sure the employees are doing their job right!! Customer service is key but not to big lots

The security guard was so kind, he assisted with vehicle issue, much appreciated, the staff in store was just as nice!

Friendly employees good customer service

They have a new thing theyre doing, scanning your items while youre waiting in line and taking your name, to help speed up the process of checking everyone out. It seemed to be working. Good going Big Lots! I just wish they had prices on all their merchandise because some things just arent marked so there can be surprises if you dont remember to ask. At times Ive decided just not to risk it when I dont see a price. The $10 off $40 bounceback coupon is what got me back in today! Keep the deals coming Big Lots!

Ive always found this Big Lots to be a pleasant and decently stocked store. With the pandemic, stock is a little lighter, but theres still a good selection of products.

Went to buy a full size 2 foam mattress topper and was able to get at a much cheaper price than any where else. Was able to use a 20 percent coupon as well. And its a Serta.

They had what I needed, the customer service was fine, in an out in a flash.

Workers were very helpful. We started at the Redlands store but they did not have the item a recliner, we wanted in stock. The customer service person called around to several stores until she located the one in Hemet that had the item. The Hemet store put a hold on the item until we could get there. The Hemet fueniture customer service person was also extremely helpful with loading the chair into our CR-V.

The prices are good but the service was great !

This location always has a nice inventory. Their in stock with alot of items other locations may have. Im giving up the secret but o well, they deserve some credit. The customer service is pretty good as well, no complaints thus far.

If you have never been to a Big Lots then this quick review will give you an idea of what this store is like.Most Bug Lots are similar. You will find everything from outdoor patio furniture in the spring and summer to average everyday items like shampoo and cell phone accessories. Many of the items are price in even dollar amounts like $9:00, for example.You can walk in and buy a high percentage of what you need all in a Big Lots store. You can get a few food items, soaps, decorations and lots of snacks such as chips cheaper than a grocery store.Lots of detergent choices and even some tools. You will find toys and stationary. Need pillow cases or sheets? Big Lots has those too. It is kind of a smaller one stop shop.Pots and pans and silverware can be found here. Things are easy to find. I shop here 2 to 3 times per month with almost no complaints. My only odd complaint is if you want soda in aluminum cans you will probably not find any. But maybe I am just not finding them.

Most of the big blunt stores need to remodel and enlarge the stores they all should too small and too tight without running into someone or something the prices are fair I usually go in just to browse around and see what theyve got and to buy the dogs toys and such. Overall its a fun store to go into but as far as convenience and looks the entire Big Lot Company needs to revamp their stores and thats my opinion only

For Rewards members, you cant use your 15$ off when you spend 50$ coupon on any sale items. So the 6ft. Christmas tree is on sale right now for 36$, so if you buy any other regular items, that are at regular price and you have reached 50$, you can not use the 15$ off because the Christmas tree you got was on sale. I looked at my coupon, it does not say, can not be used on sale items, usually coupons say that, but this one did not. So I was confused as to why I was not able to use my coupon, when it was sent to me, because Im a Rewards member, dont send coupons out, if you guys wont let people use them. Hopefully other coupons work, have a great day🙋

Terrible customer service called to ask a simple question and got more attitude then answers. Think you could go to the DMV on a busy day and have a better customer service experience.

Fun inexpensive place to shop

Over the weekend I had visited the Redlands Big lots to look for Halloween decorations and instead came across a Sectional that I loved !! Sales associate named Pat helped me with everything !!! Pat took the time to measure the sectional and measure another sofa that matched my current one at home just verify the Sectional would even fit in my tight apartment. If it wasnt for her and her help, I probably would of not went back to make the purchase on the sectional. Thank you Big lots and your associates like Pat who help us little customers ( :

One of my favorite places to shop and the people who work there are friendly. They have for the most part the same stuff that other stores have. Plus a lot of unique things that other stores dont have. Its just a experience walking through the store looking at different items from different places.
