I called a day in advance and they assured me they could take me in at 9 o’clock and quoted me for $45. When I arrived the gentleman in the picture was rude did not care to listen to my concerns and I would not recommend anyone come and spend money with someone who doesn’t care to listen to a customers needs.

Had an appointment at 9am for tire replacement and they recommended alignment. I got there at 8:50, checked in without a problem and was told it takes 1.5h. I ran some errands at target and returned 1h later. My car was still parked at the same spot. 30 min later I asked why they hadn’t started and was told they are doing the best they can and that they had 2 emergencies they had to take care of. I asked what emergencies and got the answer “punctured tires”. I asked why they were taken before me with an appointment since I didn’t think that warranted skipping the line. I again got the answer that they were doing the best they can. It took almost another 1.5 h before my car was ready. I guess they figured they had my business for sure and squeezed others in before me who could have gotten to other tire businesses in the neighborhood. I will not use them again.

I used big o tires for a great deal off of Groupon. HUGE MISTAKE! I will never ever recommend big o tires in Redwood City to anyone ever. The service manager was rude and on 5 different occasions I was told they were to busy to come back another day, I was not offered times to come in or a solution was just told no. After discussing with the manager that I felt disrespected and unappreciated as a customer who unfortunately paid before even coming in and learning how poor the customer service here was. So after two weeks of calling and trying over and over to come in they finally changed my oil after 4 hours of my car being there (45 min job max) DO NOT SHOP HERE

Big O is not like that at all.They never give me outrageous prices or bogus ‘fixes’ which keeps me coming back because I know I can trust them to fix an issue at hand quickly, professionally, and correctly.Sometimes they will recommend certain services to help maintain the car for longer in between check-ups, but they are never, EVER pushy about it - it is genuine concern - and even give tips on how to make sure my car running the best it can until the next time I come in.They have become my first stop for everything and I appreciate them so much

I appreciate they take a “walk-in” oil change service for my car without an appointment. But the waiting time is greatly longer than I was told. I used the coupon from Groupon then realized that I still need pay 40% more than the price on Groupon. That makes me feel the discounted price is misleading.

I had a problem with my suspension a few weeks back, & I came to see what they could do for me. They were super nice about it & helped me temporarily fix it, & didn’t even charge me. I was super grateful for the help, so I decided to go back with them to actually get it replaced. I’m very happy with the service I got! Very understanding, helpful & friendly :)

Big O Tires store at Redwood City is just Awesome.I am rating this based on my previous and today’s. Experience with big O tires for guiding me right in the direction.I noticed my check engine light on after oil change at pep boys. I preferred oil change from Pep boys (sunny vale location) as it was near my home. They were charging me around 160-180$ for the diagnosis. Ideally they should do this diagnosis for free as the issue came post the oil change from them.I went back to big o tires at Redwood City based on previous good experience. After inspection from big o tires it was found that their was no issue in the vehicle and that the oil cap was not properly fitted by the mechanic at pep boys.Additionally big o tires also did not fully charged me for the diagnosis of the issue. They charged me 50% of their diagnosis fee. Which is really a very nice gesture, I did not expect.Store manager Bill is the person who helped me with this issue and charged me only 50% of their standard diagnosis fee. Thanks Bill.I would recommend anyone to have their vehicle inspected and repaired at Big O Tires in Redwood City location.

Had to replace one tire on a RV, they recommend to get all the brake pads changed and they would give me a great price. Did not even get an estimate at the time, nevertheless after all a $1600 job. Got this done and left for a road trip 4 weeks later. Brakes felt soft from the get go but I attributed this to the new pads. After about 40 miles had to do a hard brake in a traffic jam on I80. Barely got the RV not to crash into the car in front. Stopped 20 miles later in Fairfield with both rear brakes are smoking. Saturday afternoon and a Les Schwab diagnosed both calipers locked. Either wrong install or damaged during install of the new pads. $800 repair bill again. When going back to the BigO in RWC after returning the owner refuses to take responsibility claiming he can’t get information what was wrong. Even has the audacity to question, why the calipers were changed. Lousy quality in the first place, no sense of customer care and no pride in their work. Considering that I was just lucky that I did not end up in an accident because of the brakes, this is not acceptable at all. Never again.And the response from the owner: He has my information, I paid for the additional repairs and I am back on the road. Its ridiculous.

Called on Saturday, got appointment for Monday morning and out in 30 minutes by 8:30 am. Great, fast service to get my tires rotated since my car told me it was time!

Responsive. Courteous. Thorough. And they got my tires from a different location, had the job done quickly. Would recommend. I will say that I bought Michelin tires, and they didn’t have any discounts or coupons that applied to those tires. Other tires had some discounts and incentives. But I got what I wanted even though it took them some time extra effort.

Service is ok, but at the end i brought a Groupon code which everything was fine but the question mark was why they charge me a 1 year price alignment when they have one time price alignment at the end looks like almost every one in the neighbors hate groupon and try to get as much money out of customer pocket again!One time is $99A year was $129Not worthy as they won’t do alignment again unless my tire threat is lower! 🧐 doesn’t make sense

I’ve been going to big o tires rwc for years. We’ve purchased multiple sets of tires from them and they’ve fixed a number of tire and rim issues for us. I appreciate their friendly service, reasonable advice, and fair prices. And they’re always helpful when I need to stop by for some air, rotation, or alignment. Just what we need.I appreciate their covid safety measures. The team is masked and they have safety shields in the office.

Please do yourself a favor and take every tire needing help here. I called at 115pm the day of my trip to Tahoe with a nail in my tire. Bill got me in within an hour and back out again extremely fast. They are extremely kind, efficient, and competent. Can’t wait to buy tires from them when I need new ones. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and am so glad I found this gem!

I went in to patch a flat tire. There was no wait, the service was good, they were practicing social distancing well. They charged me $40 to patch a tire (not one that I bought there). I thought that was a little steep, when America’s Tire does this for free to earn your loyalty. Otherwise all was good.

These guys were great! They didnt know this but we had driven up to the for my husbands first chemo treatment scheduled for this morning. When we left our hotel to drive to Stanford, we found a tire was really low. We managed to air it up and I took it in after dropping my husband off. We were expecting a charge for the tire repair but when they finished, they said not to worry about it. They were very friendly and very quick. They didnt know what we were going through but they sure made a stressful morning a little easier. If we are ever in the area in the future and need help again, we will definitely be going back.

At BigO Redwood City, I get straightforward, good-value service. If I dont need something, or theres an alternative, theyll let me know. Have taken my Honda Pilot there for several years including major repairs such as timing belt replacement.

Bottom line — I have used Big O many times and this time I was bait and switched — given a quote that was described as “out the door” and then charged another $99 for doing an alignment.The details — Before taking my car (Mazda CX-5) to get a new set of tires, I called Big O to get prices. I was given a few options and ultimately decided to go with a set of Sumitomo tires. I was told they would cost $632 “out the door.” I asked if this included everything I needed because I didnt want to be surprised after I brought the car in. I was told this included everything. And was again told this price was out the door. I made an appointment. I was going to ask for the name of the person I was talking to but it all seemed so straightforward, I talked myself out of it and said goodbye. That’s on me.When I arrived for my appointment, I explained the above to the person checking me and he seemed to really struggle to find this price in their system. Once it was found, he explained that it did not include aligning the wheels and said that would be an extra $99. I told him I felt like I was being bait and switched and that “out the door” should include an alignment. We disagreed on whether an alignment was a necessary item. I would say if it’s not necessary, it is at least something you would point out if the customer said they wanted the price to include everything. The baiting and switching defeated the reasons why I called — so I could compare prices and know what I was being charged before taking in the car. I didn’t have much choice at that point as I was going on a trip and needed new tires. If I do decide to go back, next time I will get a firm quote and a name.

They took care of my and my car so well.The staffs here are very professional and courteous.I called in to make a same day appointment because my TPMS alert light was on.They were able to see me in a short notice, and performed an inspection and tire rotation in about 15 minutes.The pricing and service are clear and transparent.I highly recommend this place to everyone for tire and brake works.FYI, when you call in to make an appointment, they are probably too busy to pick it up, just call again~
