They open at 6 am and are just 3 minutes away.Thats just too convenient, not to use.They usually have friendly and helpful staff and very competitive prices.Returns have never been a problem.However, I do not buy home interior valves or hoses at Home Depot.Wholesale Plumbing Suppliers sell superior products in my opinion.I have actually weighed the difference, even from the same manufacturer in the same packaging.

Plumbing is never easy to shop for since there are so many specific parts to it. Getting a knowledgeable person to help is so important. Mike in plumbing went above and beyond to help me find what I needed and he didn’t give up the search until he found it: located in the wrong place! The customer service he provided was one of the best helps I ever had at Home Depot and I shop there almost everyday. Thanks again!

Personally I have the best experience at this store. I generally find what I need and the people here are helpful. Plus everyone here is dog friendly! which is great for someone who has their dog with them all the time.

This is probably my favorite Home Depot in the Reno/Sparks/Carson City area. It is always very well lit and very clean. Finding an employee may not be quite as easy as it is in most of their other locations but Ive never had and major problem finding one. The employees have always been very polite and helpful. The inventory is extensive and well stocked on most items. Their prices always seem to be competitive with other similar stores.

Normally when you shop at home Depot, the workers will try and hide from you and avoid helping you if possible. To my pleasant surprise, an employee who is aptly named Happy, Saw me looking for something and asked if I needed help. I had to acknowledge her for this excellent customer service!Edit: I also had to acknowledge Jeff in this review, who also went out of his way to help me find something, even walking me across the store to the aisle! I wish every person in customer service treated me this way!

Tight main aisles and unfriendly staff. No one offered to help and paint counter staff was very uninterested in giving more information to a new comer.They also didnt have a wide selection of carpet cleaner and things were over priced

Everyone was helpful and knew where products were. Despite them being short staffed the associates were eager to help and were very friendly. One associate even stopped to help me find an item, when he was carrying a bunch of stuff.

They were out of stock on more things than usual, making me have to make a second trip to another Home Depot. Its aggravating to see empty spots on the shelves where product goes. I will say the paint department is top notch.

Great staff. Puzzles on how things are not in there logical isle. But great staff to help you find it.

Only issue was we could do a straight exchange, had to return then repurchase. No biggie thou. Everyone was very helpful and they even carry Amazon Echos in store. Also purchased a few moving boxes and though I don’t know the current rate of boxes these days they were rather expensive at $5 per box😒over all a good experience. Will return!

I purchase a lot of tools and supplies from this store several times a week, the staff is always friendly and helpful and this store has the best inventory of Milwaukee tools in the area.

I have recently had medical joint replacements, Home Depot not only, had a spot for me up close, a charged motorized cart, very helpful staff, I left with gorgeous flowers and felt better for the whole experience. Thank you 😊

They have it all. Would have given five stars, however, I was disappointed that their water heaters were priced higher than the Home Depot on Northtown Lane...I guess if you have it in stock, they can charge more.?! Great store, just disappointed with the pricing disparity.

I always love this place especially when I go to the plumbing. Neil is one the most supportive and helpful store / section expert you have there. I have project since my pump for my show orchids broke and after researching I found a pump on line. Now I need accessories to work with my system. So I made it to a point to go to this Home Depot at Summit hoping Neil is there but he was not but the arrogant know it all Paul. I approach him and ask for help. I told him that I have a tank from my RO water that I need to attached to my new pump to irrigate my plant...... he suddenly remarked with a questionable look on his face ‘You use RO water for irrigation?!?’ It irritated me so I explained it’s for my plant that need a TDS of below 100. Anyway I said I really don’t need to explain why I use RO water but I need find the accessories I need. Presently my tank has a an outlet of 1/2” which is not good since the requirement is 1” pipe so to bypass that I thought of putting a 2 to 3’ long flexible pipe with a PSI rate of 100. So I put out my 1/2” sample pipe of the outlet of my tank and proceeded to present my idea and ask if it will work, but the moment Paul saw the sample pipe I was holding with me yet to start to explaining my idea he said without listening ‘ It won’t work it’s too small you gonna burn your motor!’ I said I know that is why...... ‘No it won’t work period! I was flabbergasted he won’t even listen to my solution. So with irritation and holding my my temper, I asked if you a 6’ x 1” flexible pipe rated 100PSI ? Paul said “We only have that in a spool and you have to buy the whole thing” in an arrogant tone. Keeping my composure, I proceed to ask for other accessories I needed as Paul turn around to lead me to the spot he is suggesting, in a distance I talked to my self and said “What an asshole” sorry if he heard. So I went on my way looking for alternative accessories, and guess what I found a1” flexible tuBing with a rating of 100 PSI that can be cut to your specification which I later called to cut it for me. Why did he lie?!? Why is He so arrogant and closed minded?!? His attitude is unacceptable!!!!!

No problems, found what I needed easily. Dogs fighting in the store, they need to end animals in the store. Only one check stand open. Self check out unless, a checker has to come to the register 80% of the time.

Fencepost prices have doubled since I last bought one. Spray paint stock is seriously depleted. Guessing it is all Covid related.

So the only home depot in town that had the item that I needed was, summit ridge, Reno. Purchased my item online. Awaited the email that said come pick it up. Drove 12 miles. When I arrived at The Home Depot it pointed you towards the right half of the store to customer pickup curbside. Curbside pickup is a Christmas tree lot. Drive towards pro services as they always have parking available. Open my home depot app and it says are you here? I push yes. The app says no curbside pickup available at this store. I head indoors to pick up my item. The line for pickup has 6 people in front of me. It moves rather rapidly. I pick up my item. I have to roll the item out to my truck because it is HEAVY duty. I then hoisted it into the bed of my truck alone, Tied down, and was on my way back to the other side of the city. 🎄Holiday shopping, 🎄the purpose of purchasing online or doing curbside pickup is that you do not have to contend with all of the crazy people who are out and about. (As a cancer survivor I prefer this method.)If Home Depot offers curbside pickup, they should have that service actually available. OR items should be allowed to be delivered to your home with the rest of the items that you purchased (because there were 12 of those; arriving here in another week).🤔

HD is a staple and regular spot for us. Its close by or else wed go to the other place. At present, the flowers are scant and not looking great. I think HD made a huge mistake when they went to cheap home labels instead of letting competition provide better products in key categories. The other thing you cant help notice is that many HD Associates practice run and hide instead of seek and help customers. This trend gets worse every year. Regardless, we still got things that should work for us. I hope that the big box stores like HD will return to customer engagement.

Please support local business versus Home Depot. I waited for 45 mins for an associate to rip a piece of particle board for me. After three calls over the intercom, not one associate came to my assistance. Please try and support local businesses like Carter Brother’s Ace Hardware on South Virginia or MasterCraft on Linda Way in Sparks for all your lumber needs.I will say that one associate at the self checkout lane was trying to be as helpful as possible. But as usually, Home Depot over promises and under delivers.-Eazy

This home depot has a different layout than the home depot I usually shop at, bit it seems like most chain stores arent consistent in that regard. Other than that they had friendly service and a great selection of products.

They are fine if you need a package of screws or whatever, but if you’re buying expensive things that need installation be careful as they hire shabby outside vendors. They screw up install more often than it going well. That said if you’re trying to track your expenses as a pro they are better than Lows. For me I’m thinking I need to give Lows a shot, and maybe they would handle their outside the store business better.PS Last install was a mess and no call back or anything for 2 days now.

We initially signed a contract with Home Depots Installation Services (through the Summit Ridge, Reno store) for a cabinet makeover and countertop installation. It was supposed to be about a 1 week project. Existing counter demolition and cabinet install over 3-4 days and new countertop install over 1-2 days.The cabinet install went ahead as scheduled and took 3 days, but then we were told that the countertop installation wouldnt happen for another 20 days! This is leaving us without a backsplash, kitchen counter, kitchen sink, microwave, or dishwasher. The customer service rep doesnt reply to e-mails or return phone calls. Horrible customer service... after theyve made the sale, they stop caring.

As for wait time it was fine it gave people time and space between each other Rather than walking in with some one u Dont have any idea about at all specially where they have been but really not a wait it felt more like Magic Mountain. I dont think that funling people in is Good for everyone.The reason why well because the people r to close and not everyone is masked up.O. Entry six feet apart roughly then a sharp left right back against the same people behind you less than 4 feet just like magic mountain ride not so sure Imliken that so much other than that great.

Had what I needed. Its all good.

After a fiasco at another local paint store, I went to Home Depot for help and had the pleasure of being assisted my Terry in the paint department. He was so incredibly kind and helpful and actually helped me with my problem.

Horrible customer service on an appliance purchase! We were sold a broken dishwasher. Took almost a week for a technician to look at it. Then we’re told we have to contact Samsung directly for a replacement. We never once used the appliance, Home Depot delivered and installed the appliance and then left us trying to figure out how to get it fixed. Horrible service! I will never buy another thing from this store!

I frequent this Home Depot quite a bit. The staff are always willing to help when needed.

The home Depot itself seems to be maintained fairly well. But its a hit-and-miss with the employees. Meaning that not all employees have answers or know the whereabouts of the things that Im looking for. Some even seem somewhat annoyed by me even asking where something is. Like I should already know these things.

I found customer service to be very poor. Trying to find someone to answer questions was very difficult.

I have been hired to remodel my sisters bathroom. Being from Winnemucca Nevada, we have no Home Depot there yet. So we decided to make the trip to Reno to purchase the entirety of the bathroom remodel with only little idea how to proceed. The selection was magnificent, the staff was more than helpful and after four hours of going through a parts list and matching tiles with vanities and fixtures had all but two special order items loaded up with $100 off our entire purchase! Happy folks we most definitely are right now. Good Job Home Depot! Now its our turn to go to work. :-)

It is a fairly good building supply store, though they are a bit sparse on lumber selection. I find i get better results when I shop on line here and at Lowes to see who has the better selection and price.

Better train them no time to waste!They said they will give us a call in the morning to replace our order and still havent heard from them and when i called them everyone was taking me to another hold and transfer my call without even telling me! 😅😅😅

Went in to have a gallon of exterior paint color matched. I took in a piece of rough wood, and the associate had it perfectly matched and me on my way in less than 20 minutes. AMAZING!

Well this was another bummer for they dont have any inventory that I went looking. Yes its a seasonal thing but this is the season. Hot summer with no portable air conditioners and no they are not restocking. Guess thats why I am buying more at Lowes stores.I stopped to get one for my Reno son.

Placed a order for pickup far in advance.we live in texas and was having landscaping rocks delivered the day after we flew in to our reno home. I called to check order they promised me it would be there .i went to store to pick up our order .it was not there .very important to have been there our rock delivery was at 9 am and the landscaping fabric and edging had to be put down first. So homedepot caused me to have our rock delivery dumped in to our driveway.instead on lawn.backbreaking moving it
