I love this grocery store chain. Their meat department is fantastic. The prices cant be beat. It is an employee-owned company. Every employee has been kind and helpful. Highly recommend shopping here.

Its a winco so its a warehouse bag your own stuff kind of place. The prices are great on most things and its a great place to get spices, nuts, candy, cereals, even pet food from their bulk bins by weight. Decent produce, on site honey in bulk foods plus grind your own peanut butter, almond butter, imported coffee and more. Daves Killer bread at a great price still!! The employees here are super nice and the deli is awesome with decent sushi and a great cheese selection. I would give this place 5 stars but it could be cleaner. Carts, restrooms etc. Still well worth it. Great place to shop!

Winco refuses to enforce the mask Mandate in view of a pandemic that is killing hundreds of thousands of people they cant be bothered to have their customers wear a mask I just left the store majority of people were wearing a mask but of course you have your Karens that absolutely refused to and the store will not enforce it because they cant be bothered with it I contacted the management and they said that theres nothing they can do and yet every other store in the city of Reno is enforcing it restaurants is enforcing it casinos are enforcing it but winco cannot its not a matter of cannot its a matter of will not because they care more for the money than they do for their employees and their other customers they instead put everybody At risk instead of being part of the solution theyre part of the problem

They changed their buttercream frosting recipe. Their frosting used to be soooo good and was a staple at family birthday parties for about 20 years. Everyone raved about it. But over the past couple of years I started to notice that they no longer make the majority of their cakes. They import them and theyre not nearly as good. I just bought a small cake-for-two because WinCo made it and I was craving their frosting, but Im disappointed to say that its NOT the same buttercream frosting. It says its buttercream on the packaging, but the taste and consistency are very different. This has catapulted me into a deep state of depression and confusion. PLEASE go back to the original buttercream recipe and start making ALL your cakes again!!!

Although busy at the time I went the checkout was fairly quick and getting around the store wasnt as difficult as it could be.

It’s a nice place to shop. They have things you can buy and later prepare to eat. They also have non edible items. Make sure you keep them separate and you should be fine.

Prices were much better than Safeway especially if you want to buy in bulk didnt have some of the name brand beers .I was looking for Bud light no bud that I saw.There was only one checker and a long line.I would go again just for the better prices and when I had more time to look around .

We love Wilco, it is cheap, there is a lot of choice and most importantly a bulk section. Organic products are still pretty rare but existant. There is also some vegan/vegetarian items that are pretty good. Not every client wear a mask these days and that’s a shame but most of Winco employees do (but again not all). Hand sanitizer at the register is very nice, thanks.

Great grocery store. Prices Trump the competition. I needed help finding a few items in the bulk bin section and I found a nice young man by the name of Jake. Jake was so sweet and helpful that I cant wait to return to this Winco and shop till I drop. I just hope Jake is there when I go back! I wish all grocery stores had employees like Jake working for them, but then I couldnt decide which one to shop at. I guess Ill have to stick with the original Jakey Poo!😊

Definitely clean, organized, and well stocked. Pricing was good. Only downfall was one entire section was closed the entire time so had to go to Walmart to pick up those items that were there.

Winco is my favorite grocery store. Especially the bulk foods section. Nuts, seeds, candy, and dark chocolate covered coffee beans.

This WINCO is always pleasant to visit and fully stocked. The staff is always helpful.

We like Wincos prices. We can buy the same items for much less than Walmart, Smiths, and Safeway.

Forgot your credit card? Good luck shopping at WinCo! They only accept debit card or cash. Prices are reasonable and staff are kind. Moreover, they have slot machines, in case you want to win back all the money you spent on groceries.

Winco is always my go to when I want to get a lot of shopping done for a great price. You can find just about anything there. Theyve got amazing selection and low prices. This store is nice and clean and updated as well

Great selection of groceries but their layout needs serious work. You need to hand out a map to customers at the door otherwise because their is no sense of order.

When are in the area you always stop to.get certain products. We wish WINCO is on the SF area. Their stores are always well stocked and extremely neat

This is honestly a really great place to shop, winco really treats there employees, and customers well.This is just a really awefull situation that i can only assume i was taken advantage of by a thieving clerk.Hint to this picture where did chkn thighs fr. Come from? Add the last 4 items and thats where i get 20.12 from 8.265% of 20.12 is 1.68. 20.12 + 1.68= 21.78 - my $40 cash back and you have the tenderd amouny of 61.78.I very clearly just payed 5.52 for some one elses dinner.

Not enough bulk bin items available during pandemic. When I was there many options were empty. I did not see any bags pre made that I was looking for. Employees were wearing masks however many I experienced tied the top and left the bottom strings hanging and mask was doing on their faces. Did appreciate a person at front cleaning carts. Thankful for self check out.

This place would be amazing if they remodeled and upgraded. Prices are great and there are a lot of things you cant find elsewhere. But they need to step it up big time. At this point it seems like the majority of the people willing to go there do so to spend their food stamps. An upgrade would help them catch a higher tier market. Especially given the demographic to their south west.

Its a great WinCo. Normal grocery store. Just remember to bring a debit card because they do not take credit (which is ultimately why I stopped shopping there).

Nice and clean store very organized, the only thing that I didnt like was the fact that not one clerk or stocker asked if you needed help or could they help you find anything not a single person, and we when I needed help loading the 5gallon water containers I had just bought there no help was in sight and the one I did see with a Winco shirt on told me he was an outside vendor! What does that mean? You cant help anyone? Not very nice or helpful,So after 20 minutes of trying to lift the 5gall water jug and 10 -2lb jugs I only succeeded in staining my back and being in excruciating pain for almost 2 weeks,Thanks WincoYou rock

In my opinion Winco is the best place to food shop in the greater Reno & Sparks area because of their great prices and fresh selection of food.

No frills supermarket with a great selection of produce, meats and grocery products with the best prices around. WinCo house brand products are very good and worth a try. Satisfied shopper for over 15 years- its long overdue for a location in Carson City!

Winco is cost efficient especially for big families, the produce and meat market is very fresh. You cannot beat the prices and they do have a great staff too.

WinCo is my regular market. It is a very large grocery store with great prices. It doesnt have some of the very unique items that some other markets may have but it has a plenty wide variety. The meat is inexpensive but not super high quality as far as getting prime or something like that

Came in during the nightly reset. Employees were hard working and very friendly. Ended up getting what we came here for plus a bit extra for a lot less than expected. Will definitely come here more often!

This a very happy group of people that Always greet me. All I do is ask for help and they all jump in.I am a disabled Senior that shops into the later evening.Even the Asst Manager will ask if I need help and she will not only bag my groceries but she will also load them into my vehicle.I will not go anywhere else to shop for my staple items.

They also have a wide assortment of other bulk items.It had become my absolute favorite place to shop. The staff is also have a knowledge and friendly staff. The employees there genuinely seem happy to be there and typically have a smile on their face.Stay away from the evil empire of wally world and get your groceries here. Also they are employ owned, thats a plus

Great checkout. Friendly workers everywhere. Plenty of what I was looking for. Only negative was customers not wearing masks. Woman body builder.. no mask anywhere on body but saw it laying in shopping cart and even though posted mask required on at all times in store and announced by store 3x while I was there.

Comparatively low to other stores. Some items though as we know, price checking is useful. However, Winco consistently brings the same value for lower prices. Also, has some items I used to love as a kid that I havent seen anyway else and buy them here! Love the hours as well. Peaceful shopping.

Everything and everyone was great until I saw a female Supervisor verbally attack a Hispanic employee stating if you cant do this job then why work here and a few other words made me and my family very apprehensive to come back

We have been shopping at the South Reno Winco for years now. Its my favorite grocery store by far. Always very clean and well stocked. The people are friendly and helpful from the cashiers, to the deli, to customer service, to the pizza counter. Even when I lived across town, I would go out of my way to shop there.
