I have been looking for a go-to place to take my guitar in Reno. I had tried other shops but was never really happy with the quality of the work nor with the price point - I am so happy to have found my shop! I cannot say enough good things about Nyles. I dropped off my guitar Sunday afternoon and picked it up the next day. He works very hard to get your work done as soon as possible while maintaining a high degree of quality. Other shops in Reno charge over double the price and offer less than half the quality and experience. Additionally, I have found other shops treat me like a number and are a bit condescending at times. In speaking with Nyles, one understands right away that they are speaking to someone who is truly passionate about, and loves, what they do - it feels like talking to a close friend rather than someone you are doing business with. Heck, he even complimented my guitar when I took it out of its case! I cannot say enough good things about Reynolds Guitar Repair!

My 20 year old + Martin acoustic needed some new tuners and a look over. Niles was prompt and enjoyable to talk to regarding the guitar. He spotted some hairline cracking on some frets and addressed those also. Highly recommended Neighborhood Luthier!

Got the pleasure of hanging out with Niles while waiting to get to my guitar. Seems very knowledgeable, and has a tendency to put in just that little bit of extra effort to get it right. I absolutely love Reynolds Guitar repair! Ive been taking my bass guitars to them for about a year now, and my basses have never sounded any better! I bought an Ibanez sr300 from guitar center and it had a lot of fret buzz and many other issues, so I took it to Reynolds Guitar repair. Within the same week I got the bass back and all the fret buzz was gone and the bass sounded amazing. Highly recommend Reynolds Guitar Repair.
