While other companies I called couldnt get to us for 3-5 days, they were able to complete the job the following day after I called. They were also less expensive than everyone else. My experience with Glass Doctor of Reynoldsburg was terrific. Five of my windows had gone hazy over the last five years. Blaine Valentine came on time to price the job and later to put in the glass. He was very professional, personable and answered all my questions. The glass is unbelievably good quality and I only wish I could do all the rest of the house. The price seemed reasonable with my coupon and % off given at the time. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
I had a rock hit my windshield and cause a chip. They were kind and accommodating and did a great job!
I used them to replace two windows in my suv after a break in. They arrived on time and cost was about $650, however six months later I found my drivers door trim was very loose and almost falling off the door. I looked closer and found that when they removed the door panel to replace the window they (understandably) broke off most of the plastic clips that hold the panels in place, BUT, they never bothered to replace them with new clips as a GOOD service provider would do. Instead the installer just reused most of the broken clips which worked temporarily but eventually caused the door trim to fail, come off, and make it difficult to open the door. I had to buy new clips and replace them all myself. A huge hassle and I regret using window doctor. I would never consider using them again for anything. I hadn’t bothered to give a review until I saw they emailed me some marketing spam today. Thanks for reminding me what a terrible job you did window doctor.
Chris was amazing when he came out very promptly to give me a quote to repair the window in my door. He was swift, professional, on time, and incredibly communicative and easy to work with.Today, Brett came out and installed the replacement windows in my door. He was incredibly patient since I work from home and couldn’t come to meet him immediately. He was so very kind and supportive and funny. His work was top notch and very professional. I have an issue with a neighbor and Brett was quick to recognize that and offer to help protect me. We became fast friends.I couldn’t be happier with the level of service I received from Glass Doctor of Columbus and look forward to their estimate on my windshield and continued service. The house we bought had three windows that were damaged, and with the nature of the housing market we had no choice but to opt out of remedy by the sellers. Two and a half years later it was time to do something about it. I was referred to Glass Doctor by another window place because the glass itself was the problem in all three windows. Glass Doctor came out and in minutes gave me a quote, which was very reasonable considering the size of the windows, and the techs were very friendly and courteous (masks! I didnt even have to ask!). The installation was just this morning and they did a great job. Very fast. Very pleased, and do recommend!

I hired Glass Doctor to replace the glass in one of my windows and re-glaze the rest of them. There was clearly some disconnect between the rep who came out for the quote and the techs who actually did the work--the techs basically said that the rep who gave the quote was saying whatever was necessary to make the sale, and that the service I was quoted (removing the panes of glass and all glazing putty/caulk, then replacing the glass and re-caulking) wasnt one they actually do, due to the time it takes and the risk of breaking the glass.I felt for them because they were clearly put in a difficult spot. I agreed that they could instead do what they usually do, which is chip off whatever putty/caulk was loose and caulk in the gaps, but they also did a messy job with the caulk, leaving several of my windows with caulk smears on the glass. Im a bit worried that the caulk will come up, if it was applied on top of existing caulk. I would not recommend this business.
We paid deposit to Glass doctor to begin making glass for our door. A couple weeks later they came, the tech used profanity in front of my small children and the glass measurements that THEY done werent correct. I was told someone would contact us and that they would return on Monday, March 8,2021 with the correct glass. Tuesday came and there had been no call or anything so I called them and spoke with a female manager. After offering for us to wait over another week and only a small discount (10% per manager words), we werent pleased and asked for a refund. We were told it was against their policy to refund. I asked how is that possible when the error was on THEIR part. She assured me shed call me back that day or at the latest the next morning. Never heard anything AGAIN. I CALL again the next day and requested to speak with the owner or manager over the last manager I spoke with. Its been two days and I still havent heard anything. Poor business and very unprofessional. I just want a refund for the inconvenience and hardship.
I had a really good experience. The employee that visited my house was nice, courteous, quick and the window looks great. The cost was just a bit more than I had anticipated but within reason. My only criticism would be around the scheduling, especially for the original estimate visit. They could not provide a window of time for their arrival and asked that I choose a day when I was planning to be at home all day which caused me to have to pick a day further out than I would of liked.
I wish I could give a 0/5 star review. I had the worst experience with them because my kids window broke so I needed someone to fix like as soon as possible so googled give me glass doctor as like the one of the option obviously but they said they had a next day Availability to make an estimate so I was like yes thank god. So they came and made the estimate took measurements and all of that I paid half which I was like woah what but they need money to order for me so I paid the half. They came when the window arrived for them to replace the broken piece to find out what the ordered doesn’t even match the window on top. I had 2 horizontal and one vertical but they bought 3 verticals and 2 horizontals. Mind you I’ve waited a week to have this fixed like I have children that sleep on that room and they’re was a lot rain which I had to like fix the window with trash bags. So I called and they said they have to order a new one that matches the one on top so I have to wait like more time which if I’m paying full price and half of the money I paid when to the manufactures like I understand it’s they’re fault but they should be able to discount if they were the ones who made the mistake. So at this point I’m done and I want my money and they’re like well no refund tf kind of bs is that my money is my Bussiness. You give me back my money you give the manufactures back there supplies. I even spoke to a manager couldn’t even refund MY money. I 100% won’t recommend this business to anyone. Never

We had a small window in our house that was fogging. Glass Doctor came and did a free estimate and then came back to replace the glass in the window.The employee who did the estimate, the employee who replaced the glass, and the office employee who I spoke with to coordinate everything were all very polite, kind and knowledgable. My only small frustration was that we had a question about the order after the estimate was put through (it seemed like it might not be the type of glass we wanted) and we were told we would get a call back to confirm and discuss the question. We never got that call, but I double checked the glass type when they contacted us to schedule the replacement and everything was correct, so we went through with the process. All in all: great work, I wouldnt hold my breath waiting for a callback.
This is my second time going here actually. Same great service as the first time. Low priced and wonderful service! No other place can even compare to the quality you get for such amazing prices. I got my front windshield replaced both times and I was extremely happy with the service both times!! Definitely recommend this place!!
Blaine was a great person, was very helpful, and explained everything clearly. The den window was was replaced in 10 minutes and he maintained social distancing and wore a mask. Booking online was easy and they adjusted to my schedule when it changed.

We hired Glass Doctor to fix one of our windows at a property we manage. The technician, Jason, came out to give an initial estimate of the window. I personally showed him the location of the window that needed to be fixed. He sent an estimate and we scheduled the repair. They collected half of the amount owed. I asked when a technician would arrive so I could be there, they told me they would call me when they were on their way.No one called and the repair was done on the wrong window. I have called to have the situation rectified. They said they would send a technician out. Again I told them I need to be there to show them the window. Once again a technician came out and fixed a wrong window.For the life of me, I dont understand. We only had one window with damage. I have called numerous time asking them to fix the issue or refund my deposit and they will not give me a definitive answer on how they are going to handle this situation. At this point I would like my refund and to move on. Still waiting on that. I highly recommend not using this company. This has been so frustrating, unprofessional and unethical experience. I work with a lot of contractors and service providers. Never have I ever experience anything on this level.

Use at your own risk for a home window repair -Tech showed up after weeks of waiting for the window to come in, says he cant fix it as it needs new trim. 3 weeks later after multiple phone calls, they are waiting for my trim to come in on order. I requested to speak to a manager - didnt call as they said they would. Next week one did talk to me and couldnt promise when it would be installed. Still waiting on this window to be fixed, trying to close my house. I may have to ask for refund and give money to the buyers for a new window - what a rip off.Two weeks later from this review and I am still waiting.
Went here for a windshield replacement a few years back and I was soooo satisfied! I had a chip that expanded to a crack and then the crack went into my view ugh. The replacement cost wasnt bad at all and service was really fast. The person that did my windshield was really nice and the people that scheduled me were really nice as well. My windshield was great! Never had any issues after installation. Referred them to family and friends as well. Would use them again.

Nice people, reacted quickly to assist. One concern was that there was a disconnect between what their product would be made of material wise and what actually delivered. The Field Estimator indicated a rigid glass product would be supplied but upon install a somewhat flimsy Lexan material was provided. It then required more bracing which caused delays and an additional trip. All in all, they made it acceptable.

We have had them come out twice to repair windows that were busted out. They vacuumed and repaired it and it looked like new. They were reasonably priced and friendly.
The replacement of the vehicle window and the scheduling was perfect and quick from Glass Doctor. Those two things dont usually go in common.Where Glass Doctor irritated me was in receiving a receipt. I never received a receipt from the technician (my wife never questioned him about not giving her one), then I called in, and they said they would send me a receipt. Two weeks later, no receipt. I called in again today, and they seem to have been sending the receipt elsewhere. Hopefully, its fixed. What irritated the most at the end was that the service rep over the phone never even apologized for the fact I had to call in twice.Hopefully, I get my receipt, and all is well at this point. If I still dont get a receipt today, I will adjust my review to a three star rating.

Called to have a broken house window repaired. They do not work past 5 on weekdays. Took a week for them to assess, paid 50%, another week goes by when I called to find out if they were going to repair the window. They scheduled for late morning the following Saturday. I received a call at 130p stating they were not going to show up. I stated drop off the window and I will install myself. They were supposed to deliver Monday. Monday came and window not delivered. I will now have to call again to have my money refunded. Do not use this company.

Dont bother calling them. Who ever schedule those appointments and actual people who do the jobs, are not the same. They not even on the same planet. I had an appointment at 12:30pm and when I show up, they called me and tried to reschedule for time I wasnt available. Dont waste your time!

I should have checked that first! 8 hours of my life wasted.Glassman just gave me a 2 hour window and assured me they wouldnt leave me hanging like Glass Doctor did. They show up in the window that they are supposed to.Dont waste your time with Glass Doctor of Columbus!😡😡😡

I would not recommend using this company.We are in the processing of selling our house and had a broken spring in one of our windows that was requested to be repaired. This is a fairly common issue.I thought this would be a fairly simple repair, so basically went with first company that popped up on google.We told them of the issue and they sent someone out to inspect the window on 03/20/18. We got a quote and went ahead and ordered the repairs that day. We paid half the balance and were told within 7-10 days we would be contacted for the actual repairs.Two weeks go by and we call Glass Dr and were told they were still waiting for the part and could not provide an ETA. I call back a couple days later on 04/05/18 and was told by someone else they should have an ETA on parts. They find out their order hasnt even been processed and hasnt been shipped. They stated they confirmed their vendor processed the part and is being shipped 04/06/18 via UPS and we will be contacted in 3-5 days to schedule repairs.No contact from Glass Dr again, so I call today and they still dont have the part and cant really provide a reason why or when for sure they will have the part.
Scheduled a same day appointment. They call me 45 minutes prior to the appointment to remind me. Show up 10 minutes early, and theres no one there. I call and complain and am told that they dont know where the tech is or when hell be back. An hour and a half later they call to tell us hes at the shop. We found someone else at this point. Why schedule appointments if your just going to show up whenever the hell you want. Bad for business.
Glass doctor has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I called to make an appointment to have a windshield chip repair and I had to call 4 or 5 times just to get them to actually organize the insurance claim paperwork. The appointment was for 8:30, made 3 days in advance, and when time came they never showed up. They told me they didn’t have a time setup on their computer. When I asked to reschedule the appointment the agent was not able to give me a reasonable timeframe. He offered a timeframe “sometime today”. So basically he expected me to wait all day for them to decide when they are going to call me and tell me that they are on their way. Apparently they think that the only thing people have to do nowadays is wait all day for them to decide when do they feel like making money. What a role model for other service providers!I canceled the appointment with them and went for Safelite Auto Glass. This really assured me that you get what you pay for. Don’t use their services because on top of that their reps are rude too. The agent got upset and hung up on me for canceling. Wow!!!
Where do I begin with how horrible this place is. I was home on leave from the army visiting my family and my car got broken into on a Wednesday. I have to leave Saturday morning to make my four hour drive back to base. So I call glass doctor and after twenty minutes of haggling a price we come to one that is finally somewhat reasonable. I let them know is am still going to call some other places and hang up. I get a hold of buckeye glass who beats glass doctors price with their first try. So I book the apt for Friday. An hour later glass doctors calls me back and say they want my business and beats buckeyes offer. So I book the apt for Friday and hang up. I then realized I had not explained the importance of it being done Friday. So I called back and got a guarantee they would be there. Wake up on Friday to a Voicemail thats says they couldnt get the glass so they cant be their until Monday. So I call back and get told that dispatch will call me back. Hour goes by no call. So I call back explain the situation again get transfered explain the situation again get told I will receive a call back. Hour goes by no call. So I call back get transferred around a bunch and have to explain the situation three more times and then I am told there is nothing they can do. What time would I like the apt for Monday. Every person I talked to acted like they didnt care. I never got one apology from any of the six people I talked to. According to them no vendor had the glass in central Ohio so it wasnt their fault. So it is about 1pm by this time. I call buckeye glass back explain everything, they tell me let me call you back. 10 min later I get a call back saying they just sent someone to get the glass from the vendor and that they could be there by four. Long story short. Call buckeye glass. They came to me gave me all the same guarantees cleaned all the broken glass out of my car for me and went above and beyond to help me. Glass doctor is a joke.
I was given a price to get my regulator fixed in my window. The day it was supposed to get fixed I find out there is an additonal $150 I was never told about. I already paid $150 in advance because they said they had to order the part and needed a payment in advance before they could order it. No one ever told me I would have an additional $150 to pay after. so now I dont have enough to get my window fixed because I wasnt expecting to pay that much and I cant get a refund on what I already spent because its already been ordered. So now I cant go anywhere else to get it fixed because I have $150 tied up at this place. And its going to be another 3 weeks before I can pay the rest. I have to go 3 more weeks with my window stuck down for just anyone to get into. Had I know the full price ahead of time I could have prepared for it as I was figuring out my budget for the week baised on on the price they told me for the window. It was their mistake but Im the one getting screwed over for it. Had I know the full price I would have gone elsewhere anyway because I had someone who could do the same job but for a total of $210. the only answer I could be given was Ill have to see what I can do because I cant give you a refund since the part is already ordered. we can reschedule for when you can come up with the rest of the money. I feel duped. I wouldnt recommend using them unless you have no other choice. I also would recommend making sure the price they give you includes everything like their advertising says its supposed to or you may end up in the hole and unsatisfied.Update: We were able to work something out. So I gave 2 more stars. But definitely not a 5 star experience.
I used glass doctors services about nine years ago, to fix a glass door. I had a decent experience and called them again when a window cracked in my new home. So back in August I set up an appointment to get an estimate for window repair with glass doctor. The appointment was right on time and only took a few minutes. I called back a couple of weeks later and approved the quote and have my credit card number to pay the bill in full. I was told that it would be about two weeks before the pane arrived and that they would call to schedule service.Up until that point, everything was fine. I waited the two weeks and didnt hear anything. After week three, I decided to call just to check in for an update. I was told that Id get a call back after they look into it.Several days passed, no call. So, I call again. Same basic response. Thats just how our system works. Once I get info from the technician, someone will follow up with youAgain, no call. Im fairly patient, and call a few more times and start stressing the point that nobody has called me and that I have initiated contact each time. I got an email later from Matt K, apologizing for the communication problems and telling me that a triple pane window is no longer available and that I could approve a double pane if I wanted to. I replied six minutes later, saying that a double pane is fine and asked if the part cost would be less. No reply. Again.By the way, at this point it is a month and a half after I paid in full.So again, I call. Someone there says I hear it all the time that they didnt call back.... But trust me, I call customers back.. Ok, so youll call me back TODAY? YES. Because honestly at this point, after literally never getting a response I am going to dispute the charge with my credit card company.No call back. So, being overly generous, I send an email to MattK, service and the original tech. I gave them three different numbers to call me at.FINALLY a call back. Oh I did call you back. I left a message.. No. A call to the number you had would have rang three different phones, would have notified me on my watch, would have emailed me a transcript of the message and would be in the caller ID log online just like every other call I get every day.... But beside the point, while shes on the phone... What is the update? Our vendor says that theyre running behind and that the glass will ship this week. Ok, great. Is there any discount because its a less expensive pane? No. This answer irked me, but again, Im way too generous to bad service companies. I let it slide, even though I know a double pane window costs less than a triple pane window.Another call a week later. It should arrive this week.A week and a half pass sand I sent an email before my lunch break saying, simply, refund my money.At this point, a better company would have jumped and figured out a solution and called immediately. I didnt even get a call back by the end of the business day. No reply to my email.I initiated service on August 26th and paid for the quote in full. I wrote this review on November 6th. In that time Ive only received one email and one call to update me on the order, and only after I became a squeaky wheel after waiting WELL after what I was told. Ive disputed the charge with my card and will find another company to fix the window.
This company is so unorganized it is not even funny. Scheduled for a chip in my windshield to be fixed at 8am. I got there and the office was dark. There was a paper on the window with a phone number. I called the number and was told a guy named aaron will call me shortly. Half and hour later, i called the number back with no answer.Do not waste your time going to this place.They are literally a joke.

I should have listened to all of the other reviewers. I scheduled an appointment to have my windshield replaced. I received an email 30 minutes later asking me to call to confirm. I called back and confirmed with both the office and the shop. When nobody showed up on the day of my appointment I called and was told I never confirmed but they would be out shortly. They called back 15 minutes later and said they couldnt come today. I wasted an afternoon waiting for them. Safelite is coming tomorrow morning. Theyre $20 higher but itll be worth it for a company that actually shows up.
Terrible experience.
My wife called The Glass Doctor after breaking one of the panes in our living room. They came out and measured two days later. We got the measurements, paid the deposit, and were told we would have our window in two weeks. When it came time to schedule an appointment, they told us they would not know their arrival time so we couldnt schedule a weekday so had to settle for a Saturday that was four weeks after their initial visit. When the Saturday comes around we did not hear from them. I called and a dispatcher told me he would call back but didnt. I waited around all day and they failed to show. That Monday my wife called and they told her the drivers truck broke down and they would come out the next Saturday. Saturday morning arrives and they call us to say that window pane broke and we would have to wait another week or two. I called and tried to cancel the order and get my deposit back and was told I cannot get a refund even though they had a no call no show, broke the window, and have me waiting eight weeks for a window pane that should take two weeks. I am waiting to hear from the owner for a resolution with this wretched company.
While I dont doubt the validity of other reviewers, I did not have the same experience that they did. We broke a pane of glass in our front bay window. They came out on a Tuesday to take measurements and said the glass would take about a week. We were also given an option to do another double pane or a thicker, single pane piece that costs less. We paid a deposit and off they went.We were contacted the following Thursday (two days later) and they said they wanted to come out the following day (Friday) to install it. We agreed.The person came in, installed the window in a satisfactory manner, and left. I was told to leave the window alone for a day or so in order to let the materials dry and set (like the caulking). Paid the company, and that was that. The window seems to be installed correctly with no gaps in the caulking or mounting to my eyes.If I did have critiques, it would be that they dont give time frames. We were told sometime Friday after noon which is a little ambiguous. The worker was polite and respectful, although there were a few tiny pieces of glass left in the area when he was finished. These are minor issues and not ones Im willing to remove a star for.Take the good with the bad, but they came out, did the work, under-promised, over-produced, and were reasonably priced. Not perfect, but its glass and these companies arent on every other corner like exterminators are. I would recommend them for easy stuff.
Only reason I gave a 1 star is because there is no 0 star. They cant make an exact time for an appointment, they want you to wait the whole day & if you happen to miss their call, they move on. So I pretty much wasted my Saturday. Customer service person that answered the phone is of no help & not even apologetic. Dont waste your time in calling this company.
I originally scheduled the appointment for them to come to my office and repair the window of my wife’s car. The morning of the appointment I received a phone call stating that they prefer to not come on site and that it would be extremely helpful if I could bring the vehicle to them at 3:30 that day. The representative on the phone also stated that it would reduce the cost of the repair from $245 to $180. He assured me the office had WiFi so I could do work while I waited.I arrived at 3:25 and the office was dark. I came to find out the office is by appointment only. I then called the booking number and they assured me someone would be right over. No one showed up. They did, however, have my 3:30 appointment on file. After two more calls and waiting outside the shop for an hour someone finally arrived. He proceeded to inform me the repair would take about an hour to an hour and a half and that there was no on site WiFi. After the work was completed, he then tried to charge me $256 for the repair (that was nice the initial quote and way above what I was told on the phone earlier that day). It wasn’t until I refused to make that payment that he called the booking line and reduced it to $204 (still higher than was represented to me). Despite them having a record of my appointment time being changed, they claimed to have no record of the price change. Put simply, their blatant disregard for my schedule and bait and switch tactics regarding pricing have guaranteed that I will never use their service again and I will actively steer others away from this company. I have also since found out that they charged about $70 over market for the repair. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.
I highly encourage you to not use this company. My mother contacted them about replacing a couple windows in her family room, so they came out in mid December to take measurements. She was contacted in mid January and told the windows were in and scheduled an appointment for a few weeks down the road. No one showed up or called, so she called them and was told that the installer had surgery and they rescheduled her for a week or two down the road. They told her that they were going to send their best installer, but again no one showed up or called. She purposely didnt call them to see how long they would take to get in touch with her. A few weeks later she gets a call that the windows have finally been received! They kept calling her on weekdays saying that they wanted to stop that day to do it, even though she repeatedly said it would have to be a Saturday since she works and they cant even give you a 4 hour window.Two guys showed up today to install the two windows, and the work that they did was beyond subpar. There are gaps where NO sealant or caulk was used. They also left a 3/4 inch gap at the base of the window, which is actually letting a steady stream of air in. The guy was going to leave it like that until we questioned the horrific work. He then said that because there was caulk previously placed inside the base of window, he had to remove the rubber gasket and there is no way to replace it. His exact words were then You have to expect a little air or breeze coming through your window and offered to lay some caulk in the gap. At this point we told him to leave everything like it is, as we wanted evidence of the poor craftsmanship. He tried to justify the poor work and then offered to give the check back to her that she had given him and have the owner call us. My mother told him that is what she would prefer. He gave her the check back and then said he isnt sure how his boss is going to feel about it. This was about an hour ago.AGAIN, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Worst customer service I experienced in a while. They totally wasted my time ordering the wrong part twice and when you call the office nobodys on the same page which made me repeat my self over 4 times .DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME CONTACTING THEM

Completely unprofessional. I made an appointment and their employees couldn’t even show up on time to get my keys and wasted my entire day. Never requesting services here again.
I called for emergency service. They took a deposit of $350 and said we will get ahold of the technicians. NEVER called, when I called at noon the next day...oh I was going to call you and see if you still needed us. I was livid to say the least. At this time still waiting for a refund and had to call another glass repair. This is a terrible way of doing business and I would stay very far away from this disreputable company.

WORST SERVICE EVER...Very Unreliable. They are quick to send 1 person to your house to take your order and half of the payment.They tell you glass takes 2 weeks max) to me made/cut and they will call you to schedule the installation.After calling several times after the 2 weeks, Tech comes 2 wks and 3 days later, told us the glass is an inch short, so he had to re order, and put a rush order for us.... 2 more wks passed by... Still no glass or call from them, we keep callingCustomer service (at the office) is terrible and they get an attitude with you.Do yourself a favor DONT make business with them.
My experience could not have been any better. The receptionist was very nice and gave me a quote over the phone for a replacement windshield for our VW. I set up a time to drop my car off, and picked it up a few hours later. The work was done and looks great.
