My wife and I walked in and were greeted immediately, nothing pushy or salesy. We were able to just walk around at ease looking at their furniture. We got help from a nice young lady, and because my mind is ever forgetful, I cannot remember her name... but she was the sweetest and so patient with me (I had issues searching for my banking info on my tiny smart phone). We will definitely stop by and again for any future furniture needs!!

This place always has stuff that I like, the employees are always welcoming and the store is always clean and ready to show. The prices are a little higher then some of the others to choose from but this place usually has the more durable/ reliable furniture. So it is worth the little extra at least to me that is, I like stuff lasting for more then a year or two.

Laura at the store was not only professional but also extremely personable. She was able to answer any and all questions my wife and I had. This is definitely my favorite furniture store. Unlike many others my wife and I went to, we did not feel pressured to purchase anything nor were we followed by sales people. Home Zone does not use commission like other stores and we were informed of this as soon as we walked in by Laura. Laura answered all of our questions and was super helpful. We were able to try out the furniture without be pestered and genuinely felt like we could shop on our own. Delivery and setup is affordable and worth it. They did an awesome job and allowed me to inspect all the furniture before having me sign and leave.

We purchased a dinning room table and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. We spoke with several folks while making our decision and each one was pleasant and very informative. Outstanding experience and my wife loves her new table! She has already said we will shop there again.

Fell in love with a couch from there. Great experience. Workers were all nice and friendly, but gave you your space because they dont work on commission. Update: The review below was written last month, April 2021. Today I am writing in disappointment. I received a text message stating that my couch wont be delivered for another 4 months!!! So that is a total of 6 months for delivery! Wow! Good thing my kids and I have pillows to sit on for the time being! I am changing my review to 4 stars because of this. However, it does not take away from the outstanding customer service that I received from the stores associates.I recently moved this past weekend and I was in need of some new furniture...a dining table and couch to be exact. My neighbor recommended Home Zone in Richardson, TX. I had never heard of this store before, but I also hadn’t been furniture shopping in the past 10 years!!!I was greeted by a nice gentleman by the name of Darion (not sure of spelling). I didn’t feel attacked or bombarded like most sale reps do. He quickly explained that they don’t work for commission, and that he was only here for my benefit! He held true to his word! He showed me some great pieces and I left the store indecisive that day.After going to a ton of other stores, including Rooms to Go, Stacy’s, Ashley’s, Nebraska Furniture Mart, Living Spaces and several other furniture stores around town...I made my way back down to Home Zone!Nick the store manager assisted my mom and I this time, and what a great experience! Not only did we purchase a sectional (at the best price around town and online), but we also purchased a dining table, extra chair, bar stools, and a couple of decorative pillows. It was truly the customer service that sold us!Home Zone has good quality furniture, at exceptional prices, topped with outstanding customer service. If I had one issue, it would only be that I won’t receive my furniture until June...other than that...I’m a happy camper and will be returning to make my mattress purchase!Thank you to the manager Nick and his proficient salesman team!

We are moving into a new home in a couple of weeks and decided to buy new furniture for every room. We walked into The Home Zone expecting to look at a dining table we saw online and ended up finding the perfect bedroom set, living room set, and dining set for our needs. A gentleman named Darian was especially helpful throughout the entire process. There was no pressure on us to make any decisions and Darian accommodated our every need. He even carried an ottoman that we liked all the way across the store so we could see what it looked like next to the sofa we chose. The furniture we chose is great quality and we didnt break the bank before we left. By the way, everything we chose was IN STOCK and will be delivered the day after we move into the new place. This is our favorite furniture store in town. They have high quality furniture, and great people. Cici and the manager at this store were great to work with. If you need quality furniture, made in this country, you can get in your home in a few days, you really need to go and see what these folks have. I just purchased a sofa and loveseat and I am very pleased. The transaction was a breeze, the delivery was top notch. I will definitely shop HZ again. The big box furniture stores were all around 2 months out for delivery!!! Skip them and go to HZ, save yourself the wasted time and frustration.

We checked out Ashley, NFM, RoomsToGo and more and ended up coming back to HomeZone. Cece and Dariun were absolutely amazing and helped us find what we needed without being pushy. Their manager, Nick, stayed late well past their closing time to check us out and get delivery scheduled. A good selection of products, but more importantly great people. I wouldve probably ended up shopping elsewhere if it wasnt for the amazing staff + service.

So first things first I’m THE MOST indecisive person on Earth… I walk in HomeZone and Laura greets me and it didn’t irritate me like most sales ppl bc she was just honest and told me upfront she wasn’t going to bother me the entire time I’m in the store- just let her know if I needed anything basically. She came and checked on me bc I was like walking back and forth looking at the same two sofas and came and gave her opinion and left me alone to pick… I left went picked up my daughter came back… she was there told me she’s here if I need her… me and my daughter looked I left. She said bye see you later… 3 weeks later I go in.. greeted by someone else and I immediately remembered Laura… I was like yes ma’am thank you, but os Laura here… after 3 weeks she remember me- walked me over to the two sofas I was torn between and got me squared away- super smooth and honest. We talked about best places to eat in Texas and music- since I’m new here… even got me water lol. Overall I enjoyed my experience and I will definitely go back and I hope Laura is still there!

BEWARE OF DELIVERY SERVICE!!!I recently had my couch delivered to my apartment. I was harassed by the delivery man, Clifford who dropped off my furniture. He sent me text messages from his personal phone number. Absolutely unprofessional. Moving to a new city and having furniture delivered, I would like to know that my information is secure. Home Zone needs to make sure who they hire for their delivery service is well versed in professionalism and what constitutes as harassment.

Chillest furniture buying experience. Great variety and prices, and no one there works on commission - as a consumer, if youre about to pay $1k+ for anything its really nice to not be rushed. And you dont have to deal with that uncomfortable feeling you get when you buy a cheaper piece of furniture than the one the salesperson really wants you to buy, because, yknow, it determines their check that feeds their family. On our first visit to the Richardson store on Campbell we were greeted by Laura. We let her know it was our first time to visit a Home Zone store and that we were considering purchasing a recliner. Laura provided a brief background on the store, furniture and layout of the showroom floor. We immediately felt at home and free to look around. After milling around trying out different recliners we were approached by Nick, who was simply checking to make sure we were being taken care of. We let him know that Laura was taking care of us and simply giving us space and time to shop around, which we LOVED! We eventually found our way to the “Houston” recliner. We loved the comforter, size, features and color options! The recliner was so comfortable that I could totally see us fighting over whose turn it was to sit in it. So...we slipped into the loveseat which also reclined. Not wanting to rush into anything we had some questions and also wanted to think on it. We checked in with Laura, told her we were looking at the “Houston” and wanted to know a little more about it. Laura’s knowledge of the product, specifications and making were very thorough. We especially liked that she told us what she loved about the furniture. We at no time felt pressured, stalked or uncomfortable while being in the store. We told Laura we appreciated her time and wanted to think more about the purchase. Again, there was no attempt to strong arm us into making a purchase or rushing our decision. We then went over to the store which we made our previous purchase from. We walked in, no one greeted us. We literally made it half way around their showroom floor without seeing a soul. We immediately noticed a visible difference in the quality of material used in making the furniture from that of Home Zones. We were also taken back by the sticker price of just the recliner alone. One recliner was almost the same purchase price of a two piece set at Home Zone. We did finally see an employee of the store but there was little attempt to even find out what brought us to the store. We spent less than 15 minutes and left. A couple days later we went back to Home Zone, walked through the door and both Laura and Nick saw us and said, “ HEY! WELCOME BACK TO HOME ZONE!! Wow! Our vet of 10 years still gets our last name wrong, pets names confused and makes us often feel like we are first time customers but here Laura and Nick made it clear that they remembered us. We said we were ready to purchase and that we decided to go with the Houston couch and loveseat since both offered reclining features and the price was reasonable and affordable. I have never in my life made a more simplistic purchase than I did that day. It was like we blinked and were now standing outside of the store thinking something had gone terribly wrong because that felt TOO EASY! It was a surreal moment as we stood there feeling compelled to go back in and make sure we actually did purchase the furniture even though we had the receipt in hand 😂. Hands down best experience! Loved that the store is “Texas born, family owned,” and that the employees made us feel like we are part of that family. Big kudos to Laura and Nick for making this such an amazingly memorable experience and one that will keep us coming back for future purchases. Our furniture is being manufactured right here in Dallas, and it was available for delivery within 3 days of purchase! Thank you Home Zone! You guys have set the bar high and are leading by example!
