This location has the same great quality and flavor as other 85°C Ive visited. I guess due to the pandemic, it was pretty empty considering how popular and packed these franchise bakeries tend to be. We were there around 5 pm.We ordered chocolate buns, wheat mushroom pastry, coconut twist, chocolate croissant, rose cheese, egg tarts, and other breads. All were very tasty! They also offer cakes and drinks.
I have been to the locations in Houston, Austin and now Richardson. I can honestly say that this company maintains its quality and consistency regardless of which location you happen to go to.You can expect to find delicious, fresh quality pastries, both savory and some sweet, made on site daily. You also have to try some of their drinks, specially the 85 degree coffee and the boba milk tea. You cant go wrong with any item here but I do recommend that at a minimum, you try the red bean bread and the Hawaiian chicken. They also have loaves of bread and a variety of cake. Our favorite way to eat these delicious treats is to take them home and warm them up for just a few seconds.
Lots of good baked items. Milk bread, guava and cream cheese pastry, ham and cheese pastry. Coffee, Espresso, and Teas. And cakes. Everything is good.
85°C cafe is one of the best bakeries in town. They always have fresh cakes, pastries and other delicious items and the place is always busy. Their boba is also good
Great tasting goods, perfect selection types. Prices are amazingly low. Please visit!
Went here looking for the pastel de nata (egg tart). The crust was pretty good but the custard filling wasnt sweet enough. I like those egg tarts that arent too sweet but think this one could have done with a bit more sweetness. At 2 bucks a pop was a bit on the pricier side too. Even with all that, was pretty tasty and would still recommend the tarts at the cafe. Pretty clean and helpful staff.
I really like the pastries and bread treats here! They are really good. And the prices are literally like nothing to your pockets. I wish I lived closer.
This place never has their best seller ready to serve in the mornings. Food is good but keep your expectations low about the amount of inventory they will have when you walk in.
Stopped by the Richardson location, store is clean, pleasant and the food looks appalling!Tried two pices of cream cake, very good! Will definitely go back for more!
Glad to have an 85C in Richardson and first time visit. Friendly and welcoming staff. The pastries by the time I got there before 6.30 pm are almost gone and not many options. So, I hope they have more options. Highly recommend
Always has great options- if one of your favorites is out, try another! It’s hard to go wrong. My personal favorites are the egg tart, mango bun, and brioche. Boba is good too. Prices are super reasonable and the staff is always friendly & prompt.
Must try Sea Salt Coffee Smoothie!!They opened today & its already getting to crowdy here. Seating area is tight & can accommodate no more than 20 people.Giving away free tote bag with any purchase(until next 2 days). To many desserts + bakery items to try & at reasonable cost. Desserts sweetness levels are low(which I like it) but have strong egg flavor in cakes.
Sweet and savory yummies. Always something good to try here. Fun to go with friends and share your finds with each other
Oh my, such a wonderful variety of pastries, buns, and, egg tarts they have! One bite and it transports me back to Asia, the taste being not as sweet as the Europeans or here! Their Individually made boba milk tea are delicious also! Help usually readily available with the self serving displays! Back many times over! :)))))
A group a people not wearing mask.I asked the store cashier why and they said its because of the CDC.This is not accurate, its up to the store. You can decide to enforce this. Its your private property. You should not allow a bunch of people coughing on top of the freshly baked goods. Who knows if they are vaccinated or not....Please read the guidelines before you allow people not to wear masks inside the store.
Excellent asian bakery, evrything is fluffy and happy plus melts in your mouth gracefully, reminds me of the ones in Indonesia and Malaysia, the mango panna cotta was bong ding dingly amazing with hints of topical Italian delights, take the box not the bag as evrything is soft and fluffy like a cloud in your tummy
85 coffee was too sweet today. I hope it would be consistent followed by house-recipes.
Nice spot to grab bakery/ order birthday cake/ grab a cup of coffee and hang out. Good price. Great service. Well managed and clean space. Highly recommended !
The manager there I think her name is Jasmine and I think shes the manager shes super nice super helpful, I will come back to this place and I recommend it to everybody whos looking for some good bread
Best bubble tea in town and any time I’ve had one of the pastries, they’re absolutely amazing!! This is the closest location to where I live in Addison and even though it’s out of the way and I wish there was a closer location, I am a regular customer!
Everything is tasty. Definitely reccomend
Basic bakery with a hint of confectionery. The standard offerings are not distinguishable from the competition. Even the coffee service was routine. The ingredients in our samplings were superior but the ratios were slightly on the other side of our customary experience with these desserts. Difficult to understand if this is the norm or an outlierThe place is a little unkempt.
One server here was very rude. Bad experience...
OMG. So seriously delicious. You walk in, get a tray/tongs, and go through cafeteria style, adding heavenly sweets as you go. Milk bread, brioche, red bean paste buns, egg custard tarts, oh my!! We dont even go near the finer pastries bc our tray is already full! Thankfully, they have a huge variety of teas and coffees available to balance all the sweet.Outside in courtyard, high statues of Chinese figures stand prominently. I apologise to not know any names of them or the guardians.
No restroom for your customer? this is ridiculous !!! the City need to check this place how they give service without Restroom ?
Found this place today and SO glad I did. My passion green tea was perfect and I can say enough about the Black Forest cake. YUM!
Delicious baked treats and drinks. Very cute and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
Looks Great but not very sweet. Service was fine. Quick in and out.
OMG I love this place!! So clean and such a variety of pastries! I went because I had a taste for fresh croissants, they have WAY more than just croissants. I really liked the spicy sausage pastry, it tasted like pizza, and the guava filled pastry. And the workers are really nice and the prices are incredibly reasonable.
Cake is less than appetizing and quite pricey. However, the bread items are PHENOMENAL. Highly recommend. Bring your wallet and an empty stomach!
Unbelievable selection!!! Very delicious and will definitely have to go back.
I have never been less than impressed with excellent quality, service, and variety here. Some of if not the best pastries in all of Richardson. Do yourself a favor and go try the taro bread, its delicious doughy perfection.
Extremely rude service.pleace was dirty...the cashier was so rude
The crescent almond cake/bread is a must! Its light and perfect with coffee or evening tea. Its not overly sweet - its perfect.
Sooo many options. All which are delicious, fresh, & will last a couple days if you get a bunch 😁
Incredible. No words for how fresh and good all the pastries are. The cheesecake is also amazing. A must visit for anyone in the area.
The best place for baked pleasures
Love their baking goods. They raise prices which I find doesnt compare with the small size of what you are getting.
Good place for Boba tea and Taiwanese style bread
This has to be my favouritest bakery in DFW. They have an amazing system where you pick a tray, wax paper, tongs and then walk around the little shelves to load up whatever goodies you like!LOVE that their prices are very reasonable, the options are limitless and often rotate out, include interesting flavours like guava cheese, and have the ingredients and the calorie counts printed out on the cards! So you can see exactly what you’d be eating.Must go place to discover new food. Their boba, iced coffees, teas and cheesecakes are great too!
All of the associates are polite and professional. Ive never had any issues at this particular location. Bread and drinks are always on par. Consistency is key and they always deliver.
Love it. And tend to want to buy all the bread.😂
I was here today to get coffee. I was the only one waiting in line, but the rude female clerk just act she didnt see me. When the other clerk was finished with other customer, the rude clerk also ready to server customer, but instead calling me, she called the lady behide me. I think everybody needs to get in line no matter who that is, maybe the lady behide me is her relatives, but I was not happy with what Ive been treated. I wont come back if they have the employees like this. Very bad experience.
Slow making food but fast pace line
Stopped in today - as it is after all Chinese New Year... Year of the Rat! As always it did not disappoint - with the variety of breads and cakes available. If you have not been in an Asian bakery - you are missing something wonderful! Everything is so beautiful - delicately flavored - and a variety you just cannot find in other bakeries - and not overly sweet. It is my favorite place to purchase Birthday Cakes - and you get it with plastic knife and serving utensil... And yes they have specialty coffees and bubble tea!
What I like about 85c is their flavor consistency. I never catch them on a “bad” or “good” day—the flavors are consistent every time. Other boba places have inconsistent taste depending on who makes the tea, but I don’t have to worry about that at 85c. I’m assuming the employees are trained well/consistently, so good on them! My favorites here are the pudding milk tea, rose milk tea, the sea salt teas, honey cake, and guava strudel! I’ll occasionally grab a few egg tarts too. I don’t like everything on their menu but they have enough good ones that I can consistently buy and still taste great. Plus they introduce new drinks and bakery items all the time!
Probably not the most authentic but the pastries and cakes are very nice.
I had lunch with family a few weeks ago, and no one had complaints. I personally chose the brunch option of short rib omelette. The beef short ribs were super delicious and definitely a melt in your mouth type of meat. In addition, I loved our waitress. She was very accommodating and I loved her attitude! Will be coming back!
So many delicious things you wont know where to start! I love the milk bun which has a delightful cream inside. They also have savory options if youre looking for something more substantial. Coffee ABC smoothies make this an amazing treat stop! Ill be coming here for Saturday breakfast more often!
I simply love this place!
Great selection of pastries but can be a bit pricey at times. Well worth it though.
Their caramel pudding is amazing. Actually need to register for their rewards because their pastries are delicious
If you want to have healthy cake and dessert place - here it is. The items here are not as sugary or fattening as you would see in other dessert shops. A really wide variety of cakes (including slices of cakes), mango cups, tiramisu, cheese cake, croissants and bread. They serve tea, coffees and bubble teas - cold and hot. Great place to hang out as well - breakfast, brunch, snack time, afternoon team. They have the same shops in plano, Carrollton etc. highly recommended
Ive been seeing this bakery franchise on Yelp reviews all over the country and was excited to finally step in! The store was packed to the brim and the line was quite long but all for good reason - the food is so delectable. We had the red bean bun and bacon & cheese pastry. Whatever bread they use is so dreamy, better even than I remember eating in Asia. I will 100% be back soon to try their pretty cakes and boba drinks.
Had to wait 10 minute for my drinks. I ordered 3 drinks, and they initially didn’t even provide a carton. When I asked, they gave me a bag, but that didn’t help. My drink that didn’t have a closed cap ended up spilling
