The Nutella donut was the best donut I have ever had in my life! I ordered the horchata milk tea and it was really good. I had to go back inside to get another donut.

Very cool boba milk teas with amazing flavors. They even add flavors so you dont get bored. Try their mochi donuts and order them in advance or they might be sold out! You wont be disappointed.

Fat Straws always has the best boba, and the Mocha Frappe never disappoints.

The menu is generic, much like the employees that work at this location. Nothing special here. The tea was ok. They use syrup for many of their fruit flavors, not actual fruit or fruit jams. The location had several pallets stacked in the dining area which made it appear to be in a state of transition.

Came here for their donuts and they did not disappoint. Around 10ish flavors to choose from (matcha, black sesame, coffee, passion fruit, blueberry, strawberry, etc). The donuts were the perfect amount of chewy and they were also aesthetically pleasing for anybody who wants to snap a pic. I recommend.

Delicious drinks. Donuts taste yummy. Great, Friendly staff. I got the Thai milkshake and it is YUM. Will continously go back for that! I actually forgot it because I had ordered a few drinks for my family and they chased me down while I was already driving away so that was very cool and dedicated of the staff. I left off a star only because the iced drink had too much ice. It was a tasty beverage that I couldnt enjoy past two sips.

My kids favorite go to place for Bubba Tea. Usually gets 5 stars. Only 4 today because Vietnamese ice coffee, while ok without the tapioca, was not worth the $5 charged. I paid less at Vietnamese restaurants. More authentic too.

Wouldnt take my CASH money!***in response to mgmt...I agree with less paper money equaling less Corona. But, it would be great if you could inform the rest of your staff. When I asked why no paper money, the cashiers response was. We have no place to put it.

Ive been a fan of Fat Straws in Plano for a few years now, so when I saw one was opening closer to home in Richardson I was ecstatic. On the menu for today was a mango smoothie with boba, which are small balls made out of tapioca. The smoothie had a rich mango flavor and the boba were soft and chewy and didnt have the bad boba taste you get at some places.This location has plenty of seating on the inside, including couches and tables with pull out chairs. The look is modern/industrial with the Fat Straws colors throughout.Staff was super friendly and my drink was made within a couple of minutes.Overall Im really happy to see a Fat Straws open in this area and I cant wait to go back again!

The only thing that it’s missing is stamp cards so every 10th or so you get a free drink. There’s an app I think but I dislike paying by phone when I’m so close and can just go in person. Also I don’t have enough storage sadly. But definitely delicious!

Fat Straws literally has the best bubble team ever. This is the only place I go to for bubble tea. They are beyond any other places I have tried in DFW and I have tried dozens of places. Their mochi donuts especially the black sesame are heavenly. They have amazing service, everyone who works there is super friendly. We love you Fat Straws! Thank you for being so awesome!

The drinks are barely passable as bubble tea or good for the matter. the mochi donuts are good but they always run out of them.

Friendly staff, nice ambiance, and very clean. Only thing I was disappointed with is the Let’s Mango Flavored Smoothie. I was expecting a nice mango flavor but you can tell it’s not real mango. It tastes a bit fake.

Workers are nice and donuts are good, but I ordered two different drinks, and both drinks were wrong when they came out. One was missing flavoring/syrup and the other drink was supposed to be fruit tea, but it was really foamy and 75% of the cup was ice.

I have been an avid Fat Straws fan for ages now. I go out of my way to get their drinks now. I feel like I grew up with this place and now my children are bubble tea fiends in the making. Terry and his family have built this place from the ground up and the passion shows. It’s always fun to see new exciting drink and food offerings, but you always love those “classics”. Try the chewy puff donuts with your drink. It will be totally worth it!

Great selection of teas and add-ins. My favorite is the Happy Tea with lychee jellies, but you cant go wrong with a classic milk tea and boba. Their mochi donuts are amazing!

Very welcoming staff, got a Chai Tea and Mango Peach Smoothie, both with bubbles. We were in and out, back to do errands quickly.

Pros:- Staff was so super friendly- Bubbles portion was on point- My drink was ready almost a few seconds after Id paidCons:- The Chai Tea tasted really watered down. Im not sure if it was a bad batch, or what.- The bubbles had a strange texture, and were practically tasteless. Also not sure if it was a bad batch, or if thats how they taste here.I might try this place one more time, only because the staff had great customer service skills. But the main attraction, the tea itself, wasnt as good as other places Ive tried.

Good boba. I like their Thai, Taro, and Classic boba teas. They have nice seating but COVID has restricted it done a lot. I just do pickup now but they have a smooth and quick system for that too.

This place is so much better than Jamba Juice and Smoothie King. Their slushes are delicious without all the extra syrup and sugar. Their teas are great. I love their variety and if you get the chance, please try their Watermelon Cooler. Never tasted anything more natural.

I am very disappointed with this specific location. They recently sent a promotion on Facebook for trying a free drink. When I put my orders after spending time, the person called me saying it’s their system issue and he will cancel my orders. Not only that, he didn’t even felt sorry for their system issue. When I asked on what was the system issue, he said they have system issue and ideally it should only allow one offer in the “lifetime” of a person (very unique one!). So, if you ever have used such promotion for them before, they will call and cancel order after you spend the time ordering it.In my opinion, they better fix the system or at least take care of clarifying it while showing this promotion on Facebook. As we wasted the time for their system error for no reason, which is unfair. Moreover, not feeling sorry while canceling the customer order, when the error is on their system side or on their Facebook promotions, demonstrates their respect of customers/customer service!

Never had bubble tea before. The staff was helpful and cheery even with us coming in about 15 minutes before closing time. They were also helpful with suggestions for a first- timer. Cant wait to try some other flavors.

Love this place - next level bubble tea. Delicious high quality bubble tea and milkshakes! They do need a new POS screen. Not in favor of signing on a shattered glass screen... would be 5 stars if replaced.

I walked in for a drink but I didnt want anything on the menu. So I just said a drink I usually get at a different boba place(matcha milk tea). I could tell that the worker didnt know what to do because my friend got his drink 5 minutes earlier when we ordered together. But Frankie, the worker who made my drink, made one of the best drinks Ive ever tried and I really appreciate her effort. I will definitely get the same drink again and the service from Frankie was amazing. Also, she was willing to make the drink again if I didnt like it. Her friendly smile felt very nice and she seems like a very nice person. I found my favorite drink at fat straws and probably will never forget the taste of the drink.

Im not the easiest customer to satisfy, and my order was rather odd for the staff, I asked for 20% sweet on a milk tea. After a couple kinds that the girl said she couldnt make it less sweet, I got jasmine milk tea. The cup I got back was rather disappointing. It looked and tasted like, to make it 20% sweet, they dilute my drink with water or really bland tea. Would be too mean to say it tasted like the rinse water from the milk tea container, but if it was, I would believe it.I would rather have them told me that they couldnt make my drink than drink a diluted drink like that.

Fat Straws has an incredible staff and service! They will let you sample tea, different kinds of bubbles, making sure you get a drink you like. First timers will be welcomed and have an incredible experience. Regular bubble tea drinkers will have some of the best bubble tea around DFW. Its even a great place to work (they have free WiFi). Love this place.

Although the staff is nice. The boba I was given( mango jasmine and kumquat jasmine combo) was one of the worst boba I’ve drank in Dallas. The flavor was extremely powdery. It kinda tasted like cool aid and I did not taste any jasmine tea. I don’t know if it wasn’t mixed properly but I don’t think I will be going back.

I’m not from the area, I come to Texas couple times a year. The morning/noon shift employee is super nice & he’s probably going to be the reason why I must go to Fat Straws every time i visit.

Pretty good thai tea, although a little sweet at default. Next time Ill ask for less sugar. The boba is nice and chewy.

Fast service for anything other than smoothie. Have always do take-out. Store seems spacious, noisy, and not fit for longer 1-1 conversations. Lower ratings because one time the cup broke in the middle (was hit by something so may be my fault) and the other time the lid plastic seal was leaking.

The overall vibe of the store was nice. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. I got the lychee jasmine tea with lychee jelly and it wasnt too bad. It did taste a little watered down, but it was still drinkable. They also had little mochi donuts which I havent tried yet, but Ill be sure to come back in the future to have some.

Passion fruit slushie with lychee jelly was very good. The mango strawberry fresca was refreshing but bland. Sampled the Japanese mochi donut and it was good. Something new and interesting but unfortunately they ran out so we couldnt buy any. Overall the place has a nice atmosphere. Would recommend local and visitors to try the place out.
