While some of the employees/gals in this store location are certainly rude, I would have to agree to some of the reviews here, there is one guy here who is GR8. I was waited on by Cade ... he is not only polite and respectful to customers, but he went out of his way, and above and beyond to help me in my situation. He was a real blessing. I was so grateful for his good service. Its so hard to find employees that give a hoot about truly helping someone out, and hes even more impressive because hes a younger gentleman and most of them are not so respectful ! I can highly recommend Cade at this location for sure - hes a stellar example of good customer service and should train the others. Management, give this guy a raise !

Andy or Angie or whatever her name is that works at the printing services is RUDE and lazy. She kept saying my design wouldn’t fit on the business card. I had to provide three different designs and she kept saying no to each. She then said she would have to cancel my order and I would have to submit a new order. I asked if I can just send her a different design and she said no that she had to cancel the order. I then get an email saying that I requested my order to be cancelled and “can keep the product or donate it” i didn’t even get any product?!?

The girl at the desk acted like she did not want to help me, and did not want to assist me in printing some papers. I told one of the managers I needed that copy back she said she put it in the shredder. I did not asked her to do that.That has all of my information on it. Now I have to contact this company and let them know what happened. I hope they did not keep it for themselves.

Went in to try out a piece of office furniture and then buy it. All was well until the sales person(young male) decided to ring me up. Upon paying for it-while he graciously helped me take out my boxed furniture- I asked him why I was charged an extra $21.63 (with tax). He states, In order to get the promotional offer, I have to charge that amount. Its the only way to get the promo price. Trust me its good. After further review of the receipt, the sales guy tacked on an extended warranty on my purchase without asking me! Are you that desperate to make your commission?? If so, let me know ahead of time and I will tip you $20, instead of you trying to swindle me by deceitful sales tactics; which are not ethical nor appropriate. This will be the last time I purchase anything from this location. When I went back in a few minutes later, my sales person wasnt there. The young woman- while friendly- advised me that he shouldnt have added that on. She turns to the woman next to her (apparently the store manager) and immediately signed off to return the extended warranty charge and apologized. Hire people with integrity and professionalism. And if these types of sales people are that desperate, l suggest perhaps, increase their wages and dont push so hard for commission based warranty sales! If that still doesnt work then dont hire them in the first place! FYI- I do NOT recommend this establishment. Thanks for helping me lose trust in your business practice and your people!

5-1-2021 (10:15 am). Employee playing on her cell phone.This is the 2nd time Ive come to get a 12x20 scanned. Last time I was told itd be an hr wait. There was a big order. This time i come early, im told it will be 20 min the scanner wasnt up and running. I wait. Gentleman walks up, Employee says his request cant be done today theres a big order working. Gentleman says hell pick up Mon.Employee goes back to playing with phone. 20 min later Im told theres something wrong with the scanner it will be an hr. One of two things either your equipment is shiesty or your employee. I went to Office Max and it was done in 5 min.

Excellent customer service. The woman working in the services center today was all by herself, had several customers requiring her attention, yet she was the utmost professional and accommodated my shredding needs. She acknowledged and apologized for the wait, which was not her fault.

I drove all the way from your STAPLES in South Lake to purchase items for my senior citizen bags, I am putting together for my church. The item pictured below showed you had 14 on hand in Richardson, on your clearance aisle. I RUSHED over to the store, the manager inform me sure we have the 14 but there in the back in a clearance bins and it would take too long him me to get/find them. Again I ask and stated my request again. This time I was sure he would change his tune and have a willingness to help. Once again I got the same reply.No maam it would take too long. He never went back to check. He never offered or stated give me a day and I will pull them and call you to come back to get them. NOTHING. Poor customer service, no willingness to help and definitely no willingness to go the extra mile. Staples you disappoint me. You did not make it EASY! Staples YOU need more training in your management area because leadership starts from the TOP!!! EPIC failure in customer service.

Would only sell me a display model chair at full price if I bought the extended warranty. But they said it was OK because I could just tell the warranty service that the chair was damaged and they would refund me the money. I don’t do fraud.

When my chairs armrest failed after nine years, I tried contacting the manufacturer (Global Furniture Group) for a replacement part, but they were unresponsive, telling me to go to the original dealer (Staples).Staples honored the manufacturers 10 year warranty by refunding the original purchase price of the chair. So I used that credit to buy an even better chair (not made by Global!). Emmy was the point person and was very helpful!

Great place with great prices! The store has every office, school, and art supply you can ask for. The staff are extremely helpful and the prices are great! There are plenty amounts of deals and clearance items as well, the only complaint is that its a but unorganized but other than that its clean and great! 👍

Worst customer service ever old man that was attending the print area in the afternoon shift was disrespectful, he did not want to look for my Business card proof design by saying that I was in the wrong location. I said that I was receive a phone call from the store few hours ago letting le know the design was ready and he continue saying that they did no. The only thing I can say I feel racism from him. I asked speak with the manager never came. Finally other guy found the design but of course I walked away. I let them know I have received the worst customer services. Actually I feel terrible holding my baby girl waiting long time. Terrible never go there again.

This is a big store. I ordered something online and came to pick up. Not lots of people there but still I had to wait for about 15 minutes. Its so hot time of the year - schools begin soon - and nobody was shopping at 6pm. Strange. The store is normal regular office supplies store.

My husband and I with our 2 year old stopped by for some quick office supplies because we wanted to avoid the crowd at Target. I saw a standing adjustable desk I liked, so my husband said hed buy it for me for my birthday. It had no price, and there was no one around to help us. We walked to the front to ask the cashier for help. This man next to her said hed help us. We showed him the desk, and he couldnt find a barcode to scan. He told us he was going to check the back to find out the price. We also asked if the desk on display is the one for sale or if we would be getting a new one. He didnt know that answer either and said he would find out for us. HE NEVER CAME BACK. We got tired of waiting, so we decided to checkout. HE WAS AT THE FRONT WORKING ON A COPY MACHINE. While in the checkout lane, he talked to us across the store and said, I couldnt find any information on it. I responded, Thanks for coming to let us know. He replies, I got busy. We were so upset that we asked the cashier to speak to a manager. Well...HE IS THE MANAGER. His name is Brandon. He, the manager, couldnt find the price on a big ticket item??? There are so many things he could have done to keep us satisfied customers, but he just didnt care or knows nothing about customer service. We now understand why this Staples is always empty. The cashier and another staff member did apologize for our experience, something the manager couldnt do.

Prices are reasonable and selection of items are ok. The staff is helpful most of the time. The location makes this place quite convenient and they are almost never busy except maybe during the weeks that schools start. Also, you will always find a good parking spot.

The print and marketing needs to be retrained on how to handle customers and multitasking/prioritizing! I just came in to print a resume and they took forever to help me. Then when I waved one of them down I tell her I need to print a resume and sent it to the email. She takes forever to come back up, I tell her I sent it, and she doesn’t even ask me what kind of paper I want. She never came back up to me but the guy did and he just hands me the resume on this weird paper. I told him I wanted it on resume paper (obviously) and he says 30 mins! Omg I’ve worked at Staples at this department and no it doesn’t take 30 mins. When you have huge projects, you put those aside and help the customers with with smaller needs. I just told him that’s ridiculous and could I at least pay cuz I’m not waiting another 30 mins while they do their big projects just to pay and he says I can just take it for free. Very disappointed and I didn’t even have time to speak to the manager because I was late for my interview (their fault). As a former employer, this is totally unacceptable!

I had an almost useless experience here. I got there at 8:02 on a weekday and they had not opened the doors yet. I waited at the front door until 8:09 before someone came to open the door. I came to do an even exchange on some K-cup hazelnut coffee and they wouldnt let me. I asked just to swap the exact same product, just no flavor. The sales associate was completely unwilling to help and wouldnt get me a manager to help. Now I still have hazelnut coffee...not my favorite!

I went there to get school supplies, but the sale on school supplies, was limited to just a few items. I ended up with an 83.00 bill at check out. I am sure it would have been cheaper elsewhere.No one approached to ask if we needed help, and at check out I made a comment about my 83.00 purchase fitting into one bag, and was quickly told a customer had a 1200.00 purchase that fit in one bag. So, I guess I should have been grateful?I will shop somewhere else next time. Its over priced, the service is non existent, or condescending. Not a good experience.

Very poor customer service. Prices that were clearly marked were apparently mismarked and instead of honoring the prices, the cashier insinuated that my friend was trying to be dishonest. Furthermore even when the manager was willing to agree to the posted prices, the cashier refused to cooperate resulting in my friend having to go back to the manager for assistance. My suggestion, retrain or release the employee.

Walked in to drop off some old electronics for recycling. I didnt see any signs identifying a drop off location within the store, so I stood at the customer service desk for about 15 minutes while every employee pretended like they didnt see me. Eventually I got frustrated and left. This place is barely staffed and whoever actually does work there has tunnel vision.

My friend and I went to this store on December 31, 2014 around 3:00 pm to print a birthday card for his kids. The lady at the copy center treated us extremely bad. The worst Staples ever! With completely lazy photo center workers! We came there with CD disk and we needed to transfer pics to USB drive - which by the way we wanted to buy at their place and make sale for them- (cause we didnt have CD drive on laptop) and the guy told us that they cant do that because they dont have special software! As if we are idiots! Because everyone who use computer at least once knows that no software needed! You just put disk inside and than copy and paste any pic on USB drive! He was just too lazy to do His Work and made excuses so he could minute after clock out and go outside to smoke!Suggestion to Human Resources- hire people who actually DO the job that they were hired for and not get paid just for smoking outside.

I went today to the store and the guy who was there was rude and lying to my face that he fixed in store pickup for my business cards that I ordered he called me back and said that Im not going to get the cards by delivery cause I didnt pay to the store even he told me to come back to the store and redo all process again, Ive spent 40 minutes of my time in there its really not a good place to buy or do ordering.
