We normally dont write reviews.DONT get them confused with MFD Furniture in California or MDF Italia Furniture!Magnolia Furniture Dallas (MFDfurniture.com) was such an amazing experience, Heather went above and beyond to help us with our new Barndominium / office space furniture during the dreaded Covid-19. During this time ALL the Big box retail furniture outlets had stopped delivering. Furniture we paid for, and had to wait 10 months for delivery from those BIG BOX stores... 90% of the furniture we purchased from Heather arrived on time, the other 10% was delayed from Covid-19 and out her control. Those items arrived BEFORE the items we purchased from the Big Box stores. We only wished we would have purchased ALL from her and her company Magnolia. Not to mention the price savings on the exact same items we saw in the BIG Box stores.Once again, Heather thank you so much! The Pride you have shows through your customer service, and quality of work. We would give 100 stars if we could, and we will make sure to tell all of our family - friends what a gem of a company you have!

This company is a scam we put a order in and we haven’t received it and they lie to Progessive to charge us every month and their no trust worthy . Don’t buy with them cause they won’t answer the phone or text and their not honest people. They just want to steal the money
I had a great experience with this company. After going to several furniture stores and hearing it was 6-8 weeks delivery, I contacted Heather with what I was looking for. She was able to find exactly what I needed and at a better price than anyone. I ordered and received my dining table and chairs in less than a week!!! It was a great experience and the furniture is everything we imagined and more!!!
I came across this Furniture Store few days while I was surfing the web to find a good deal for a sofa that I liked.The first that caught my eyes were the rating I still decided to go through them and I have the furniture in my home now so I wanted to tell you all my own experience with them and I am hoping it will help others to make their decision better.My experience has been one of the best I have ever experienced. I not only got the deal that no one could beat I shopped around everywhere. The price they offer was no one was able to beat. The dealing with the seller was very smooth and professional.Seller is Heather who is the owner of this business.I believe the reviews which are listed on google are not the one define the excellent customer service she provides the quality of the merchandise and the price which I could not find any one to beat.I would request others to do check them out and experience by yourself how amazing service you get doing business with them.
I have a pending order with this company that was scheduled for pickup today at 3pm. They’ve charged my card for the total of the order but will not reply via phone, email, text, Facebook message, or Instagram message. I showed up to their location at Cottonwood Market and they tried to help me contact Heather Hughes, the booth owner, and they had no luck. Hoping this gets Heather’s attention so I get a reply.
Edit: it is now October 7, 2021 and I haven’t heard back from Heather since July. She refuses a refund from furniture I placed an order on December 17,2020 I was gracious enough to accept store credit as I had to buy furniture from havertys…. I was tired of living out of boxes. I agreed to the credit and texted, emailed, fb message, made fb comments on her furniture posts and still no response from her. It’s been almost a year and still no resolution. Also I’m the one she is blaming for fees she had to pay for the chargeback I filed with my bank… even though she never responded on the day my furniture was to be delivered back in February 9,2021. I even gave her an extra week to get back to me and still no response. So at that point I called my bank to dispute the charge and yet somehow that’s my fault. She claimed that the delivery people made attempts of contacting me end of February which was never a delivery date that I agreed to. Yet there is no missed phone call, or even a response to my messages, emails, phone calls, texts. If there where delays past February 9th Heather should’ve reached out to me to let me know that delivery would happen end of February so I could coordinate a date and time with her. But again my fault as a consumer right?? I’ve done nothing but try to be patient but there is a always an excuse, or I get blamed. Mind you I spent $1500 on my furniture.I placed an order via website after I picked my furniture it gave me an option to choose from a delivery or pick up date and time to which I did. I placed the order December 17, 2020 with a pick up date of December 22,202, that day came and went. My order was still in pending status and I never heard from the company. I called the day before pick up to get details on pick up information, of course they didn’t answer so I left a message, emailed and texted them. I didn’t hear from them until December 28,2020 just to tell me they are “checking on the order”. Here we are December 31st and I hadn’t heard back, so I sent another text knowing I wouldn’t hear back until a couple of days from the 31st as it was New Year’s Eve which I expected. But I never heard back so I sent yet another text message January 6th and FINALLY heard back January 7th. That’s over a week of waiting for a single response. They emailed me which I wasn’t aware as it went to spam and didn’t think about checking but even the email didn’t contain details of what happened. Apparently the items came damaged from the vendor so MFD had to return and re order. I finally heard from them again January 25th after multiple text messages to them. On the 25th they stated that the order finally came in and we scheduled a delivery date for February 9th and that I would receive an email to confirm a few days prior to my delivery date... I NEVER received the email, I even checked spam and nothing. I left a voicemail 2/8/21 and I texted 02/8/21 and 2/9/21 because 2/9/21 is the day I’ve been looking forward to!! Of course I haven’t heard back. I’ve called my bank and reported it fraud because at this rate it is! If you are understaffed and can’t communicate properly with a client then maybe scale back or sell your business. I’ve been more than patient with this company and feel as if I’ve been ripped off. Hell even Craigslist would do better than this. Buyers BEWARE!! DONT buy from this furniture company. Who knows when I will receive my so called furniture. I like how I paid in full and they can’t even bother to do their part.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a desk and chair on 9/5 and still have not received it. 11/15. They ignore texts, emails, calls, Instagram dm’s (I’ve tried it all). I am out $375. I have asked for my money back OR just an update on when I should be receiving the desk and NO RESPONSE. I have reported them to the BBB (which ultimately does nothing) but had to try. AGAIN, to reiterate, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. IT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE.

I am never one to write reviews, and I hate being negative on a small business. But the lack of decency is worth noting and warning others. I found a chair on FB marketplace and contacted Heather. She answered every question promptly, until I paid. As soon as I paid, I would have to double message her in order to hear something. I purchased Friday and was told I would receive an email Monday for pickup. Well Monday came and went and Thursday I reached out and finally got a pick up time. BEWARE-pick up time is only convenient to them- 5 pm -6pm weekdays and no weekends. And pickup is at an apartment complex.... This was not disclosed before purchasing. We live an hour away and tried but when I messaged asking to do a different time, no response. I called, emailed, texted, and FB messenger. They only got back to me (VERY RUDELY) after I told them I reported them to my credit card company. Even then- they are refusing my refund. Just beware the lack of communication and unkind responses.
I have had a similar experience as the negative ones below. Purchased an item and it fell into a blackhole. Called, texted, emailed for updates with no response. Close to 2 months with no clue if I will receive my purchase. I have also asked for my money back and received no response.
I have had nothing but a great experience with MFD. I have purchased multiple items from them and have received some of the best customer service around! I recently purchased a bed that ended up being on backorder from the vendor, which is not the end of the world, but MFD handled the situation perfectly and assured to keep me in the loop on when the bed would be ready for delivery. I have recommended multiple friends and family to use MFD and will continue to do so!
Worst experience ever. Im not one to write a negative review, but in this case I feel I must in order to warn others. I ordered a desk in September and was told it would be ready for pickup in two weeks. Fast forward to November and thats when the desk was finally ready. We noticed the box had been opened and were told it was because they wanted to inspect it before pick up. We rented a trailer to take the desk to my brothers house near Austin. Upon unboxing, we immediately noticed it was defective and contacted MFD. They apologized and promised to fix the problem by contacting the manufacturer and replacing the desk. Fast forward to today and still no exchange has occurred. They claim to have the new desk in stock and just need to schedule a delivery. It doesnt take 4 weeks to schedule a delivery.I threatened to contact BBB and write my honest review back in December and received multiple promises and excuses ever since.The desk is still in the original box in Austin and waiting to get exchanged. We shouldve bought the desk on Amazon, but I was trying to support a local business. Big mistake. Run, dont walk away from this company.
I love their furniture! The styles are all fun and the price you cant beat. I have a fun green console that I turned into a China cabinet. Very sturdy, real wood for a steal of a deal!
Ive had the worst customer experience with this company ever. It seems like theyre running a scam. I purchased a table and chairs on a Friday mid-day. They were supposed to be picked up from their warehouse and delivered on the following Tuesday. I decided Saturday morning that I no longer wanted the items and reached out to them via text, call and email to cancel the order. The texted back to say theyd be in touch shortly and never got back to me. I reached out a few more times and still no answer. I finally had to get my credit card company involved and had to claim fraud as I never heard from them and never received my merchandise. I strongly suggest thinking twice before making a purchase with them. The stress of seeing if my credit card company protects me during this type of fraud isnt worth it.
I unfortunately have to write a negative review after many months of being patient with MFD. I ordered a bed and two nightstands back in June, which took months to arrive. They were super quick to sell me the product and take my money, but didnt seem to care if the product actually arrived. The headboard and footboard were both delivered damaged. MFD did work with us on sending a new headboard but the footboard is still yet to arrive. We did not ask for any compensation, as we just wanted our furniture to be delivered. I have continued to be ignored by the owners Orlando and Heather of MFD through email, text and phone calls. I am writing this in hopes that someone else will not have to go through the same headache. I am hoping they will eventually come around to doing the right thing by replacing what was sent broken.
Ordered a $600 piece of furniture which we were told would arrive in a week. Since paying them through Paypal our order didnt arrive going on over two weeks now. We were never called by what appears to be the two people that work for this company explaining the delay. We have attempted to contact them as they promised us a status update on our order. After calling, texting, IMing, emailing we have yet to hear back from them. We just want the furniture that we paid for or at least an update on our order and confirmation of its arrival. Would suggest paying upon pickup of furniture before a sight unseen purchase. Nobody ever answers the two numbers they have listed during their supposed office open hours.
I am beyond tired of MFDs lack of communication and follow through. We first visited MFD to purchase furniture based off what we saw on FB. We met both Orlando and Heather and based on just their personalities we knew we wanted to be sure to order at least a few items of furniture from them. We ordered and paid on August 11 and Heather said they had the bed, and the couch but the loveseat and chair would take about ten days. We decided since delivery and set up would cost around $110 we would just have everything delivered together. After ten days I left voicemails and texts asking about delivery dates and Heather replied with a voicemail after about 3 days saying that our couch actually wouldnt be in until Sept. 24. I emailed on 9/20 and then on 9/25 to see if there would be a delivery and Heather finally texted on 9/25 saying our order was ready and would deliver on Friday. The delivery guy just arrived with a bed and no couch, loveseat or chair. He also was not told he was supposed to set up. Now the delivery guy is saying he doesnt have the right hardware and cant set up the bed until Monday. I have guests coming from overseas tomorrow and I have no bed for them to sleep in!! I am done being patient and while I hate to leave a small business a bad review I am hoping that this will get a more immediate response then my texts, phone calls and emails. Tldr: Once you order, customer service goes down the drain and delivery is a crapshoot.
Horrible company purchased full bedroom set from the company and we have gone 3 weeks with out any update or status on our order. They are non-responsive to any communication. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!
