Couldnt be happier with our new kitchen and floors from Granite Design Center. We live in a mid 60s ranch style house in Richardson that had a petite kitchen and classic parquet floors. Aaron helped us to envision what tweaks we could make to it, how to add storage, how to maximize counterspace, and achieve a look and functionality that my wife and I can enjoy as we launch into empty nesthood. Stayed on time through a pandemic and communicated well all along the way. Thanks so much Granite Design Center!

Faye at Granite Design Center made the process so easy. We ordered cabinets and quartz countertops from them. Originally, we came in with the design from Nebraska furniture as they offered the same cabinet maker, J&K. Faye sent our design to her contact at J&K who came back with a better design.We decided to go with Granite Design Center b/c we live about 10 minutes away from them so very convenient for us and Nebraska Furniture was a lot higher priced.I do have two regrets, NONE were Granite Designs’ fault.1. We didn’t notice Nebraska Furniture did the design with 12” depth upper cabinets and didn’t give us the option for the 15” depth which we would have preferred. I didn’t know there was a difference and once the cabinets were up we noticed right away. We made it work but would have preferred the later.2. This is my biggest regret: I should have hired Granite Design Center to install the cabinets. Instead, I let our contractor do it and they botched the install. They screwed some cabinets wrong which they had to correct making unnecessary additional wholes on the cabinets and their finish (trim, crown molding, etc) was sloppy. I wasn’t saving any more money by going with our contractor, he just assured us he could it. Big mistake!! Save yourself grief and hire the experts, Granite Design Center has a guy that installing cabinets is all he does so hire them!!Faye and the team did an awesome job keeping us updated with progress.

Shadi and his team did an absolutely phenomenal job on our bathroom renovation. He worked with us through every step of the process, including the design and material choices. I found him to be incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the process. He has an acute sense of detail and impeccable taste. The work was meticulously scheduled and completed on time. When we encountered unforeseen obstacles existing behind our walls, they solved them on the spot. Pricing was upfront, honest, and more than fair. The final product was perfect and beyond our expectations. What sets him apart from every other contractor I have worked with is that it felt like he was treating our job with the same level of care that he would his own home. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

We just had our floors and kitchen counters done by Granite Design Center. I have been scammed multiple times so I did my homework and their pricing was competitive with others in the area. The team they had come in to do the floors were spectacular. Super clean and attention to detail was good enough to pass even my OCD test. It looks so amazing I still cannot believe these are my floors! The kitchen counters look amazing as well! Exactly how we imagined. Super quick from ordering to install. Would recommend to anyone!

We had Granite Design Center help us with our new kitchen. They were amazing. We were able to pick out new cabinets, work on the design right in the shop, rework layout by email. It was very easy and convenient. Once we were done with the layout and style on the cabinets we moved on to the stone. I have been in many stone retail stores but this is an experience. Large beautiful slabs set up for easy viewing, touching. We were able to put a sample of the cabinet up to the slabs to be able to choose what worked the best. The absolute best way to do this for sure. We then moved on to the floor in the kitchen. This group is very professional and have a very keen eye for detail and they are extremely knowledgeable about the products they carry and sell. AND lets not forget about the PRICE. We saved easily 30% to 40% over big box stores and we did not have to deal with a teenager who really did not know what was going on. I WILL BE BACK. Theyve completed 3 separate projects for me over the last 8 years or so. Two kitchens, and and granite fireplace. Each time theyve done quality work and always worked with me on scheduling the installation. Price is right, quality work, and on time installation 3 out of 3 times. Great people and company.

We could not be more thrilled with the customer service we received throughout as well as the counters themselves. Theyre gorgeous and immediately catch peoples eyes when they walk into our kitchen. We have used Granite Design Center for our 3rd project now. They completed a floor job for us this time. We have had them remodel an entire house for us about 5 years ago. Floors, countertops, backsplash, paint, and a bathroom. Their work is top notch. They are always on time and dependable and have used the same crew for at least the 10 years weve known them.They run a tight ship with their crew and the owner and foreman were on scene to view the projects progress all week. Dont trust your time, money, and home to anyone else. These guys are the real pros!

Small repair needed and called a few places in the area. Shadi quickly responded and was able to dispatch someone to take a look near the end of the work day. They were mindful of the current health mandates while visiting the home and very friendly. The work was completed and we had kitchen sink and countertop up and running soon after. Highly recommend and will consider for future projects.

I have used granite design center 3 times now. Each time they have been excellent. They care about your final product, involve you in the process of cutting the granite so you get exactly what you want, are on time, and neat and respectful.You get all this for a very competitive price! Walked in to this place just looking around and came out with a great new kitchen! The work was done well, great choices for the countertop and worked with us to get the perfect back splash. The team at Granite Design Center has completes 2 projects for our home. They replaced all our bathroom countertops and sinks with amazing remnants pieces and new porcelain sinks. They also installed an all glass shower enclosure in our new bathroom. The team did an excellent job start to finish and were very accommodating. I would highly recommend the Granite Design Center!

We couldnt be more pleased with the granite island counter that they installed a couple days ago. I had a vanity installed several years ago and the sink came loose and fell so I called them to see if they would come remount the sink and it was passed the warranty however they did it anyways. I am very pleased that they sent someone out within an hour of me calling and came and fixed it no problem. It’s not often companies back their work unless they have to for some reason but this company did and they didn’t have to. I would highly recommend using them for any countertop needs. Thank y’all for fixing my problem stress free and so timely!

I’m glad I followed up on my neighbor’s recommendation to use Granite Design Center for my beautiful white granite countertops. I then returned for more, doing tile backsplash, then stone kitchen floor. I have plans for more because I’ve found they provide quality workmanship, are friendly and communicative, pay attention to detail, and are priced reasonably, all at the same time. Inside the unassuming storefront is the whole package.

We had already priced our tops with several other people and Granite Design was able to give us the best price by a few hundred dollars. Everything went well picking out the granite and coming back to confirm the cuts. We only had two issues and the first was they are backed up and scheduled us two weeks out which we were fine with. They called a couple days before stating they needed to push our install date out a few days or a week and this was not possible for us as our counter were already being removed. It took several phone calls between us the owner but they were able to get it installed starting at 2:00 pm on Saturday and finishing at 10:00 pm that night. They installed kitchen, three baths, and the bar and the install crew was absolutely awesome. (they started with two crews to move quick at first) The other issue was that we wanted to pay with credit card to get the perks of using the card and they were trying to talk us out of it and it came to the point where we just said show us in our contract that we cant pay that way and they relented and we paid by credit card. If we had known that up front, no issue but they didnt.Overall, I would use them again without hesitation because they do know what they are doing, do a good job, great prices, great selection of granite and are friendly. With the issues above they never got rude but just were doing business and trying to watch their bottom line and I cant fault any company for that. Just make sure you clarify method of payment up front. In the end, the granite is beautiful and that is what we wanted.

Recently had granite countertops installed. The whole experience was great. Prices were affordable, stone was of a high quality and the install was quick and professional. I am so every pleased with the service received by GDC. I called for an emergency repair on one side of my counter top that had fallen off. They came out the same day to replace not only the broken part, but the whole counter top. The work was done professionally and they very clean with their work. I expected a lot of dust and debris to be all over the place. They cleaned as they worked and even vacuumed before leaving. The workers were very pleasant and meticulous about their work.Shadi was very easy to work with and was able to fit me in as their last appointment of the day. The price was reasonable and the service was great. Great company and even better customer service.

More than just granite!I first worked with the team at Granite Design Center on my personal home just for granite kitchen counter tops. The price was very competitive. But more importantly the service after the sale was top notch. I mean they helped guide us thru the selection process and discussed some of the potential challenges that our specific fabrication might encounter (since no two homes or stones are alike; true nature of a custom project). The installation was quick and flawless. Bottom line, they did such an amazing job I wanted to use them again when it came time to renovate a recently purchased investment home. This time, the Granite Design Center became my one stop shop. Beyond the granite and back splash, They helped me replace and update the existing flooring with a nice combination of laminate and carpet. With such a involved renovation, things were bound to go bump. But when the project encountered a couple of bumps, the Granite Design Center worked closely with me to make things rights. Im extremely impressed with the level of service and professionalism I have received from the team at Granite Design Center. The end product speaks for itself. I recommend to those in the market to give them a call. When it comes time for me, I will use them again without hesitation.

Be very cautious with this company. The owner will upcharge quite a lot from his subcontractors bids, get paid in full from the customers and not pay the subcontractors resulting in liens on the customers property. He doesnt even deserve one star but it will not allow for a zero rating. From what we understand this is not the first incident like this and clearly wont be the last. He has hurt several families by ripping people off.

Good prices and installed fairly quickly. They were supposed to rip out back splash and make it suitable for new tile. They ripped out old tile but left it in bad shape.

Had them come enlarge the cut out in the kitchen to fit a new cooktop.They did a great job. The guy was professional. Will be using them to update my bathrooms.

Had my kitchen remodeled and it was a nightmare an absolute nightmare what should have taken 2 weeks took 5 weeks never was told that the schedule was packed for countertops and the wait was 2 weeks after installing the cabinets and all the trouble with the cabinets had to keep changing them out and the installation of such was poor too had to be redone twice taking them in and out two times. Now I have more things on those cabinets and cant even get an answer from my salesman I am supposed to have a one 1 year warranty. I have more projects in the future will I use them again absolutely not since I am a better project manager than the one I didnt have with them

Granite Design Center installed our hardwood flooring over a year ago, and provided not only a high quality product, but more importantly top notch customer service. We live in an older home, and you never know what you will discover once the old flooring is removed. We had moisture issues that took time to resolve. Shadi Murad and his team worked diligently to resolve our issues in what turned out to be an extended project. GDC also stands by its work, returning to our home a few times to make repairs. GDC is committed to the highest level of customer satisfaction, which at the end of the day, is the most important attribute of a business. This was our second experience with GDC.They installed granite countertops in our bathrooms a few years ago. Repeat business is said to be the highest form of praise. I would highly recommend GDC!
