This store is an amazing place to buy an instrument, Jennifer gives great advice and truly knows about the instruments that she sells. I had a great experience buying a bassoon here and I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking at double reeds supplies/instruments.

Flew from Indiana to Texas to buy a new Fox bassoon for my daughter. Couldn’t be happier with the experience. Dr. Jennifer is very knowledgeable and helpful and arranged for multiple instruments and multiple bocals for her to try. A very professional and pleasant experience.

I ordered a few items for my grandson for Christmas. When I opened the package, I noticed a hole in the bag for the music stand. I called the store and the person I spoke with was very nice and apologized for the problem. She said shed send a new one right away and put some goodies in with the replacement. I was so happy to receive the order within a couple of days and also received the goodies she had offered. The goodies were things my grandson will be very happy with. This is a very reputable store and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend it.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. I had my instrument cleaned/serviced and purchased additional supplies. Jennifer was so knowledgeable & helpful throughout the entire process. Nice to know a shop of this quality is in the Dallas Area. Thank you again!

Brought my English horn in to be played and see what was needed to tune it up. Shelby was helpful and explained what was needed. Will be heading back soon for pads and adjustments. The store was like Toys r Us for double reed players. Thanks!!

Store closed early. Wasted my an hour drive

I just ordered 4 of their oboe reeds online for the first time and the reeds arrived in the mail the very next day! I really appreciate this because my son, who plays the oboe, had a concert coming up in just a couple days and needed new reeds desperately. He told me the sound from all of them was very good. I plan on using this store again when he needs more reeds and other oboe supplies. I also plan to sometime stop by and visit their physical location when I get a chance.

They typically (if not always) get your online orders in the shipped in the mail the same day! High quality reeds and supplies for students to professionals. Great people too, always love supporting this small business 🙂

I had a wonderful experience bringing in my grandmothers old oboe today, not knowing whether or not it was in playable condition or what I could do with it. The friendly woodwind experts who work at Bocas Majority educated me on exactly what I needed / could do with my instrument, and Im happy and grateful for their having taken their time to do so. This is my teenage sons favorite place to buy bassoon reeds and can spend all day talking all about music with the employees there.

First time online buyer out of CA and wow!!! Really impressed with the professional finishing on the reeds and service here- I got the Pro Sampler Reed pack and they are all really excellent- Herzberg is awesome and always my go-to shape, but loved the Fox and the Christlie as well. Hardly any adjustments needed, immediately playable with great sound. Probably the best finished reeds I’ve purchased, and I’ve tried them all lol- thank you !!

Always very fast but the quality of reeds is going down. The have so many variations on the reeds that you have to know exactly what you are looking for before going in. The last batch of reeds I ordered was very inconsistent. Some reeds were a millimeter or more off. As an advanced musician I can make it work but these are reeds being bought for beginners. They dont know what to do if the reed doesnt work when they blow air.

It’s frustrating when they don’t care about customers’ satisfaction at all. Asking for Free reeds huh? I paid for the shipping to return the UNUSED, NOT PERFECT reeds back for a replacement. I NEVER asked for free reeds!!!!! Oboe reeds are not cheap. Whats wrong with paying over $20 wanting the perfect reeds not chipped ones? They sent me a worse reed as a replacement. That says all how they dont care about customers. You all can see how they treat customers from their response. They don’t know how to do the online business. When customers don’t like their products, we have the right to ask for a replacement or a refund. They didn’t give me an option for a refund. Now I’m stuck with a reed I don’t want. Be careful. They might send you something they can’t sell at the store.

I had to take 2 hrs off of work to drive up to Denton to get my daughters saxophone because they farmed out the repair and couldnt get it back before her school performance. Its funny how I could drive up there and get it in time, but they wouldnt. When I initially called I was told I was speaking to the person who does the saxophone repairs. Great, we brought the sax in that day. Several days later they said it would need to be sent to their tech and it would be a couple of days extra. A week and half after that, I still hadnt heard how much the repairs were going to be. I had to call them for a status update only to find out the sax had sat at their shop for over a week before they finally got it to their tech. The owner called me to tell me it was actually all the way up in Denton at another place of business. She offered that I could go to Denton myself, or they would get it back after the performance. Thanks for explaining that you have me over a barrel! She didnt offer anything for my inconvenience and expected full payment immediately. I even had to call the shop in Denton to make sure the repairs were completed before I headed 40 miles one way up there. Terrible customer service - I wish I had never called them.
