I dont make reviews, but decided to for this place.There isnt much to say other than if you choose this place you will not be dissapointed. Even while short-staffed I was very impressed with the quality of this location.Also, if you have the pleasure of meeting Brandon or Qiana I promise you they will make sure everything is taken care of for you. These two worked their BUTTS OFF to keep that place going without any of the customers feeling neglected and deserve a raise + recognition for it!
I would like to give a shout out to Tamara! As the saying goes, you may not remember a person name but you’ll remember how they made you feel! Showed up today at 420pm for my appointment. Doors locked. No sign saying closed or anything. Called store got customer service. They tried calling store also and no answer. Customer service agent will request a call back to reschedule. Still doesnt fix having to take off work early for appt.
Experience was awful 😞 . I felt pressured by the guy Brandon. He has no patience. He gets mad when you don’t buy glasses in a certain price range. The very expensive ones. He has a very bad attitude problem Everything is rushed. I wish I had another rep to assist me. I will not be returning
I am a new patient that scheduled an appointment, and the day of my appointment I was calling to see if they had anything earlier. This is we’re customer service went to HELL. When you call it was extremely hard to get to a live person. Then your call in answer by a call center. They could not find the appointment already had. So they were going to reach out to this location. The representative told me no one was answering his call, and that he left a message for someone to call me from the store. I waited no call back. Wow!! So I called back and got back to the call center. She actually got ahold of someone at the location and to help me find out about my appointment! I explained that I had received a confirmation text.Sorry for expected some customers services:Since I have a text confirming my appointment. Should someone from the location call and apologize and schedule another appointment?I guess this location has two many customers and don’t want any new patients. So I would would not recommend this location if you would be a new patient
I highly recommended this location. They went above and beyond to accommodate me despite some extenuating circumstances. Tamara’s customer service skills were phenomenal! She did everything she could to make sure I walked away a happy customer. Very pleased with my Visionworks experience!
Its interesting that there are so many first time reviewers for Visionworks, which indicates most are fake. I took my chances and it worked out okay.My vision insurance referred me and I was able to set my appointment and fill out paperwork on-line, which was very convenient and saved time in the store. However, I wasnt informed until I was sitting in the chair that it was a virtual visit, with the technician and optometrist located in different states and talking to me via video. Apparently this is normal for them. It was fine, as they are well equipped technically and I dont have any eye problems. For the same price though, Id rather have the doctor in the same room. Wouldnt you?They have a pretty good selection of frames, but theyre a little pricey thought not outrageous, especially if you get two pair, as most are BOGO free or second pair half-price. I opted to take my prescription and buy frames on-line, saving at least $150.
Dont waste your time to go to this store at Galleria. This store had a very bad eye doctor now. He has no basic skill, no patience. He rushed to give me prescriptions, no matter how I told him I could not see the words clearly, he still didnt want to listen. I got my first glasses with his first prescription. I wore the glasses, I felt blur and watery and headache. I wanted to return the glasses. The staff found two more lens from inside for me to cover my new lens, it looks better. She said she would let eye doctor know this.The staff told me if you returned it, you could not use your benefit in the rest days of Dec. She said we could schedule you to come to get another eye exam till finding a right prescription. So I went back. The second time, the same male eye doctor also has no patience. I told him I still could not see the words clearly, he was done my eye exam quickly, and said you need to see another doctor. Giving a prescription is such simple thing, but he made it complicate. So I returned my glasses with no hesitation. The store didnt refund my eye exam fee. She said the eye exam fee is nonrefundale.
Brandon went above and beyond to help me by staying late and sorting out a confusing prescription and following up with my ophthalmologist and finally resolving all the questions. Great work buddy.
I had a great experience at this Visionworks! Stephanie was the best! She walked me through my appointment and everything that would be going on with my exam. She was so nice and very patient as I picked out my glasses. I tried on a lot! She helped me to pick out the perfect pair.Thank you, Stephanie, for all of your help!!
Thank you Visionworks! The store was busy on the day I visited, but they didn’t rush me and helped me choose the perfect glasses! I LOVE them!!! They came in faster than they said, and when I came in for my pick up appointment, she made them fit just right.

Final Update: I went back to the store and got a chance to speak with the manager where we had a heart to heart about my entire experience. An apology was provided and we just spoke about my entire experience. I still never received a call from the district manager nor did customer service reach back out to me. Vision works as a company has to do better as the associate can only advance with the support of corporate staff. Telemedicine is great for companies but savings should be reinvested to provide in store support.My family and I had eye and contact exams 1st week of December via a virtual doctor. Upon entering the location first question was do you have appointment and not “hello welcome to vision works”. I’m big on customer service especially since we spend a lot of money on eyewear outside of insurance. The virtual doctor was the best and made us feel a lot better about the cold nature of some of the staff. We were told that our glasses would be ready 12/19. Two of my orders arrived before that date and we picked up on the 19th via an appointment. I proceeded to ask the associate about my trial contact lenses and when my glasses would arrive. The associate wasn’t able to answer and said she would give me a call later that day with a response. It’s now the 26th and I haven’t received an email, call or text from the store or associates about my trial contact lenses and glasses. I’ve been calling daily and selecting any option to speak to an associate and the phone is never answered. Both previous orders received were sent tracking emails to know the status of their glasses except for mine. I am beyond frustrated especially since I spent the most money on enhancements.I simply just want someone to contact me about my glasses.Update: Customer Service is quick to respond on google reviews but it’s 1/14 my issue is still not resolved. I’ve even requested for the regional director to contact me two weeks ago, haven’t received a call or email and now customer service has stopped responding to my emails asking for an update on my case. Manager in the store was unapologetic and told me to take my concerns to her boss I guess she knew that I wouldn’t get anywhere. Pandemic or not there should be some type of protocol in place especially when the location doesn’t answer my calls. I honestly just can’t believe this is what the company stands for.
One of the best customer service experiences ever! Jordan and Britney were extremely helpful. I’ve worked with Jordan before and everything was perfect. She quickly helped me identify new frames and double checked that the script was correct. These ladies should be in the corporate office teaching other teams what a customer experience should be. Thank you ladies!
Customer service was completely above and beyond. The doctor and both women who helped with the frames were very personal. All my questions were answered without feeling rushed out the door. The woman adjusted the nose piece on my glasses multiple times until the glasses felt good. I have been nervous about getting new glasses, and all my fears were heard and addressed with compassion. Definitely will be returning to this location for my eye needs.
Enjoyed my visit to this location. The doctor and staff are knowledgeable and educated me on what frame sizes and lenses I needed. I’m hard on my glasses. I got a nice pair and a pair I can wear to work. When I picked them up they did minor adjustments and were patient with my specifications. Thank you for the great experience. I will be back!
I have been calling this location since 12:30pm. It is now 2:09pm & I keep getting routed to customer service because they are not answering the phone. Because their information is not available online nor does their store share system files, I can’t get my prescription. The one they have online is for my glasses and not my contacts.
Had a great experience today with Chanior and Stephanie. They helped me with all of my questions and were able to transfer my lens into my new frames! Very helpful!
Worst service EVER.They do not answer the phone EVERYou make appointment on line: they simply do not show up.They are keeping your eyewear hostage.They also overcharge.

I had a great experience. The doctor was friendly and courteous. She helped me not feel so anxious about the exam as well as everyone else.The glasses selection was brilliant and everyone that helped me was fantastic. Alicia spent plenty of the with me picking out glasses and was okay with me trying about every pair on. She was super friendly and super helpful. I had a great experience.
They implied over the phone that they accepted my insurance. I even gave them my plan and group number. They verified that they accepted it. I took off of work early for my scheduled exam... No, they in fact do NOT accept my insurance. They do however offer a lower rate for people with my coverage. I’d like them to send me a check reimbursing me for the two hours I took away from work for my appointment. It’s fine if you don’t accept an insurance plan, but don’t tell someone you do just to get them into your store. It is morally wrong.
Visionworks was the best place that I have purchased contacts and glasses from by far. The prices are great and they offer very good deals like I recieved when I was fitted for my glasses, as well as my eye exam for my contacts. The staff was very professional and I had a pair of glasses shipped from St Louis to Rochester NY with no problems within 2 days of them being finished! I called like 4 times because I was excited to get then before I had work the next week, I was trying not to be annoying but no matter what they were so attentive. Seriously consider Visionworks when you are ready to buy some contacts or glasses though.
Stephanie helped my daughter select the perfect pair of glasses. She was patient and very informative about the whole process. The glasses came in much faster than she said, and when we came to do adjustments Stephanie was there and made sure they fit just right before we left. We will be return customers and recommend Visionworks & Stephanie to everyone!
Great staff and very accommodating, lost one of my contacts and was 2 hours from home and they went out of their way to find me a trail lens so I could drive. Will need to make sure to keep a pair of glasses in my car just in case this happens again
I usually go to SoCo Mall, but its too far of a drive now. So I went to the Galleria Visionworks... great vibes and and very helpful in making quality selections. I recommend this Visionworks!

I stopped in the store because my sunglasses nose piece had broken off. Layan took about 15 minutes fixing my sunglasses (which werent even purchased there) and once she finished not only were my glasses perfect and she went a step further to tighten the hinges but there was NO charge! She was so delightful and sweet! I will definitely be buying all of my glasses from her. Thank you again Layan:)

VisionWorks was a great experience. Staff including: doctor, receptionist and glass specialists were all super friendly and incredibly helpful. The store was also running some great promotions and I was able to get a great deal on some frames and an eye exam. 11/10 would recommend.

Be aware!You may don’t get what you paid for.I ordered index 1.70 lenses for them, and turned out it’s a lot thicker than my old one which is index 1.67 with the same prescription. And they cannot not prove what you got, because they said they thought away the paperwork for the lab after they inspect the glasses. I should’ve taken it to somewhere else to check it out, but I don’t want more trouble than I already had. Just be aware. Also whoever answered my phone wasn’t friendly, instead answer my concern, acted like “ if you don’t like it you can return it”. Like they couldn’t be wrong at all.

I have nothing but good things to say about this location. They have helped me save money on my glasses and they have some of the classes 👓 I have bought. I bought the insurance and my son sat on my $200 frames. I paid $20 to replace them. I dont think I will be going anywhere else any time soon.

It was an ok experience with the eye exam & eyeglass selection process. However they completely dropped the ball as far as my receiving my Eyeglasses were concerned. I waited two whole weeks to receive my second pair and thats only because I called them. The glasses had been sitting there a week and no one bothered to call & let me know.
Excellent service, was in and out in less than an hour with a great set of glasses. Alicia, Layan, and Dr. Lorber were very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. 10/10, will be back again!

I was in this place to buy a new frame and the associate helping me couldn’t contact the insurance. I asked the shift manager after an hour of unsuccessful attempts to get involved and all of the sudden I was bombarded with racist slurs (I know this is too surreal to believe!) She told me that I am illegally here and need to get out of country!!!!! I asked her name and she said “My name is Jessica. you cannot do anything, I am from Texas and today is my last day here, get out of here Baba”. Then she forced me to leave the store.I contacted at least 50 times starting from the next day to talk with her manager and finally Another shift manager, Alicia connected me with store manager, Camra. She told me that the real name of shift manager is Karen and she will investigate this incident very seriously.Seven months after that day, I am still waiting for Camra to contact me! Maybe it is too hard to correct someone who you agree with!
I came here for the first time with my daughter on 09/10/16. The staff was very unfriendly. We walked in and stood at the counter for 10 mins before anyone greeted us. We ended up having to ask someone for help. She directed us to a second counter in the back. I guess we would of been just standing there if we didnt ask for assistance. My first impression of this place it not good at all. I wanted to leave but my daughter wanted to stay.

I will say From being a customer at this location for years that I have never had any bad service at all, in fact Juliana has gone far above any other place that I have gone too. Juliana and her entire staff are very knowledgeable in all aspects of their profession. All the staff that have helped me and my family for years and we will continue going to this visionworks due to all the help and friendly service from all the staff and also a great doctor. Decided to try Visionworks for the first time . I have been using Lens Crafters. I had a prescription already. My complaint is that I waited the two weeks.They said they would be ready on 7/9, they called me and said the glasses came in but, were not right and they sent them back to the lab. Now I have to wait another two plus weeks for my glasses and whos to say they will be right then. Very disappointed so far.
