Paid over 500 bucks to fix pulling to the right hard and heavy vibration that did nothing to fix the issue, turned out to just be a bad tire. Nice crew and fast appointment time and work but WAY overpriced parts.

Stopped here on a cross country road trip after hitting a pothole in Ohio. My car was pulling pretty strongly to the left. Called these guys after being turned away from a shop in Ohio and they were able to squeeze me in between appointments for an alignment. They did an excellent job and the cost was very reasonable. They didnt try to upsell me or rip me off. Cant thank the guys here enough for their help and thanks to them my trip continued smoothly!

I was traveling across country and my brakes went out. The guys at Michels took me in first thing in the morning and got me back on the road with new brakes and rotors in an hour and a half!! I called and spoke to Dave regarding my need for tires. He helped me make the right decision for my needs and even found a great discount. I arrived a few hours later to drop off the car. A wonderful young lady ( didnt catch her name) checked me in, added wiper blades and added a $10 off coupon. I picked up my car a hour later. The ride home was fantastic! I couldnt be more pleased!

Only gave one star bc 0 isn’t an option... Drove about 100 miles with breaks, took it here to be checked out, came back to absolutely no breaks. They claim the second they got in to move it, the breaks went out, which I guess is possible... just not likely. Then I was told it would be $3000 to even get my breaks working and my car driving... my dad fixed it for $180 in parts and that’s it... not saying their crooks but also saying they’re crooks... not only that but the employees were literally laughing at me and making jokes while I was bawling my eyes out bc they said it would take $3,000 to even drive my truck home... I only came here bc my mother in law always goes here and she was paying for it. She always recommends this place heavily to everyone and she just had her car worked on like 2 days before this happened. She won’t be going back either.

Was fast and great price for oil change

I sprang a flat on my car, and ended up finding out it was just my valve stem. Super simple fix. I called everywhere in Richmond trying to get in. Not a single place would even try to squeeze me in. Monday afternoon was the soonest I could get an appointment, and I got my flat on Friday. The last place I called was Michel Tires Plus and they were swamped, much like everyone else. However the man I spoke with on the phone, and the manager were so helpful. They were able to squeeze me in right away. In fact the manager came right out and did it personally. Then didn’t even charge me for it. 10/10 would recommend. The staff was more an accommodating and super friendly. They really went out of their way to help me.

Michael tires plus is an excellent place to go if you need tires changed or just a tire repaired was in and out in no more than 15 minutes versus a set up appointment at the local Firestone business and was told it would take an hour their my go to guys now!

I decided to leave to go to olive garden and it was raining and they guy at the front desk offered to take me and he came to pick me up when I was done eating as well.

We got a flat tire on our drive from Ohio to Illinois. We pulled into the nearby Wetzel Auto Ford dealership hoping that they would be open, but they were closed because it is a Sunday. The manager saw us on his security camera at home and came over to check on us. The spare was on the car at this point. He asked us how far we were going, and we told him 250 miles. He told us that they are really only meant to get you off the highway to an auto shop so the Ford manager drove to Michel Tire Plus to get our tire plugged. When he asked what he/we owed them, they replied No charge. Youre doing a good thing so we will too. According to the employee at Michel Tire, the plug will hold and get us home! Thank you so much for your exceptional customer service and going above and beyond what is expected. A perfect example of Midwest hospitality. Merry Christmas!!

Came in at 2 on a Saturday to have new tires put on. They assured me they would have it done that day and would call when it was done. Well, 30min prior to closing no one had called me so I got a ride over to the shop. Not only had they not finished the tire job BUT THEY HADNT EVEN STARTED. Then they again assured me that I could pay now and they would stay late and get it done and leave it parked out front for me. Came by at 9pm and the car was locked up in their shop and no one had called me. I understand being swamped with work, but you have to communicate. Twice I had to drive over and waste my time. Hopefully they make this right but as of right now I wouldnt take my car here again if you paid me.***Update, they gave me a big discount due to the lack of communication, and they did do a good job on the tires***

I had a tire blow late night on my way to my best friends wedding. A local tow truck driver recommended this location. I was so thankful, not only did they have me back on the road as soon as the store opened but they were also very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone! Just ask for Larry the store manager and he will take care of you like one of his own.

Wait times can take awhile. Would be nice to be greeted as you walk in. They could use some more toys or new ones. The ones they have are all torn up and pretty disgusting. Customer service I would say is average. Prices are good.

I had my oil changed on 2/10/19 at Michel Tires Plus, and ever since then my 2017 Hyundai Tucson has been making a rumbling sound. I decided to check the oil on 2/23/19 and found that the air filter was just laying on the engine. That means that I have driven almost 1,000 miles without the air filter installed in my car. I am beyond furious. I have patronized Michel Tires Plus for many years, but I will never return to this establishment. I will hold them personally responsible for any engine damage.

While traveling through Indiana, we had our low tire alert come on. Stopped to have it checked and they promptly checked the pressure and sensors. Everything was fine so we were on our way again. Best thing was, they did that at no charge!

Drove all the way from Dayton Ohio for a 4:00 appointment to have my tire put on, 5 mins before arriving I called to let them know I was almost there and they said their tire machine broke. A call ahead would have been nice, very inconsiderate and wasted a lot of money. Michaels tires plus doesnt care about families whatsoever. Take your business elsewhere.

Im from Georgia and we had flown up to purchase a vehicle from a family member that had been sitting for several years. The truck need wheels and tires. Not only did Larry go out of his way to order the wheels and tires for me over the phone, but there were some vibration issues driving the truck at higher speeds. We took it back twice in the same day to see if they could fix it, thinking it was a balancing issue. Larry and his team went out of their way to do what they could for us and get us back on the road to Georgia. The issue ended up being something totally different that they couldnt fix at their shop. They diagnosed the problem for us and made sure they did everything in their power to make the truck safe to drive. We appreciate their efforts and will be back to Tires Plus if we happen to be up there and in need of tires again.

I only gave 1 star because 0 wasnt an option. I go in to this tire shop with an appointment it takes an hour before they even bring my car in. The guy at the desk said he was going to check tires on the back as they had more tread. So he did and spun them was under both back wheels. I ended up getting 4 tires after waiting over 4 hours. My car was taken off the lift and moved 3 times that I saw. 3 hours in to the tire change I am advised I have a gas leak. The leak is right by the back tire also near where the lift was positioned. They offered to fix the line for just over 300. They apologized for my wait and gave me a discount. As soon as I got in my car you could smell gas. I drove home parked on street and checked driveway no spots from a leak. The next day come out puddle of gas under car. I failed to mention that my regular mechanic had my carvthe day before as he put swaybars on it. So I asked him was there a leak he said no that he checked because he used a torch to carvthe bolts on the right side sway bar. So my car has no leak prior to entering this tire shop and when the main tech is checking my car right next to where the leak was he didnt smell anything. The paperwork they gave me of there inspection they do was blank they skipped that part I guess. While giving me a discount the guy said the tire tech was new thats why it took to long. I would advise people to pay close attention when going here or you may have experience like mine.

2 minutes agoBought a 2010 Silverado with an extended warranty. Took the truck to Michael Tire where they told us the ball joints were bad. Due to a tornado we had to take it to a sister company, Firestone Complete where Megan Abrams went the extra mile with the warranty company. Job was completed before our trip. Came in 6 minutes before closing after the tire on our trailer blew out on I-70, after going to three other stores the people at Michel understood our problem and helped us get our tire fixed in 10 minutes. Amazing people and amazing work.
