Called the toll free number while doing my alarm research - got great advice.I received system yesterday and set it up by myself within an hour. All I did was follow the very easy to use manual and watched a quick video just to ensure myself. Later I called the support number to see what was next and the rep was great and explained some additional features to me.The system seems to work exactly as I thought it would. Love the no landline need technology - working via the internet. The mobile app is so easy and intuitive. The worst experience of my life. I will keep this short...I ordered Direct TV they passed the ball to LifeShield I was ok with pricing and features and was told that the system components will be delivered overnight I asked for it to be shipped to my job and was put on hold for an hour.After the hour I was told it will be shipped to my job the next day...it was delivered to my home instead so I called back and went through the process of being on hold for another hour to get the same thing (a whole bunch of BS) they said it will be shipped to my job and low and behold it went to my home again.now this is 3 days in and still no components...THEN on day 4 my home gets broke into lol but serious (only if I had my system) now day my window was broken and all I got was an apology and a promise that my system would be shipped to my job like I originally asked...SOOOOO on day 5 I wait and still no components shipped to my job so I call back and ask for a manager they said that the manager was busy I said I will hold LOL because the DUMMY didnt push the hold button and said to his coworker lets see how long he holds so here we are again for another hour before I got a manager and when I did I said I would like to cancel she said OHWELL cancel it then if thats what you want. So I did just that only for them to show up at my home looking to install their equipment. so now Im without security for my home I have a busted window and after 6 days of HELL I still havent gotten a sincere apology...I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!
Just got our system yesterdy and started setting it up. So far I am overall pleased, it is easy to install, intuitive and works as advertised. I woudl like to recommend some additional functionality. It woudl be beneficial to be able to turn up teh volume on the chime for the controller. Additionally, it woudl be a nice add on if it told you which door, or sensor was chiming. For instance several other systems will say Front Door or Window when a door or window has been opened and the alarm is not activated. I liked having that because even of it was not activated you were still alerted if someone came in and you knew which entrance they used.
