For years I’ve been visiting and making purchases at Alchemists. Owner Jane Hayden does a wonderful job of organizing her metaphysical store. If you’re open to respect for world religions and spirituality, then this shop likely would have something you like. Among the wonderful variety of merchandise, a nice assortment of crystals and candles were seen at this shop today. I love the positive energy here!

I love this shop. Super friendly staff and unique items I cant find anywhere else around town. I love the local artists they support too! Stop in and check them out if you need a unique item for yourself or someone else! My latest purchase pictured. Its the perfect addition to my office!

They had a wide collection of gems and jewelry. The staff was so so so kind and very knowledgeable. Ill definitely be back

My favorite bookstore of all time! The store is gorgeous, with everything a book lover can hope for. Staff are superb, and the owner herself is worth visiting the store! The selection, prices, layout and area to sit and read, makes it very appealing. They also carry handmade and hypoallergenic jewelry, which I have purchased, & continue to receive compliments for.I am a frequent and satisfied customer. I highly recommend and appreciate this store!

Very westernized and whitewashed. It feels commercialized, which is not something I wish for in a spiritual or metaphysical shop.

I love this this store! The energy in there is so light, airy & positive. Great place to shop for those special things you cant find any where else.

My visit to the store was awesome when I went in there was just so many things I was interested in I met the owner she was a wonderful lady very knowledgeable about everything in the store unfortunately I cannot remember her name I did speak with her she has been in business 26 years and many of her clientele have been with her for the whole 26 years which is awesome. They offer readings and classes this is a definite place to visit a definite five star store.

Beautiful shop! I love that the metaphysical/spiritual intermingles with the typical mall shopper as this shop is gently located on the outside of the mall and in proximity to passersby who have an opportunity to check it out. I liked that I was “checked on” by staff but allowed to shop and browse without feelings followed or harassed. The prices are INCREDIBLY reasonable with a nice collection. The young lady who assisted me mentioned she was an “herbalist” - would love to know more about what she has to offer in terms of books, classes, wisdom. Would also be cool to see classes take place here in this location to capture the audience and expand their knowledge. Thank you for this awesome space and shop!

What a beautiful, well-organized store packed full of treasures. The staff were super helpful and patient with us while my daughter (slowly) found a beautiful stone. They have a large and impressive collection of stones/minerals/crystals, wether you use them for healing or just collecting. The jewelry is particularly beautiful, with a wonderful combination of gems/crystals and metal. There is a little of everything here, but the crystals and jewelry are the stars of the show.

Jane is so welcoming!!! The store is beautiful and has something for everyone that is in need of alternative wellness. I will be back.

This was my first time in this shop and will certainly not be my last. The shop is amazing and the customer service is outstanding. I love the ambience of the place as well as the selection of different metaphysical items there, my son even found him a cool new buddy. We had one little hiccup but the young lady who was running the shop today was amazing she took care of the issue immediately and she was just simply amazing. I am definitely going to be coming back for more crystals, incense, and other spiritual/metaphysical items.

The customer service was excellent. I was able to shop in peace and there was a very calming energy throughout the entire stay at the store. Their selection of crystals and products were in abundance and the tarot readings with Sandy are reasonably priced and she’s good at what she does. Looking forward to my next trip!!

This place was so quiet and nice! The woman helping me was really knowledgeable about everything there and took her time to help me find a really beautiful piece for my Mom for Mothers Day. Their selection of handcrafted jewelry is really impressive.

I rarely come to Richmond without visiting Alchemists, AND I rarely leave Alchemists without buying a wonderful piece of handmade jewelry! I love their wide selection of gifts, the friendly and helpful staff, and the ambience of the shop.

Everyone was very kind and helpful, found this beautiful Scorpio ring and my husband also purchased a Buddha book from Hampton Roads Publishing Company. Ill make sure to pop by again next time we are in the area.
