The guy hands down is amazing. Well worth the waiting on getting guitar back. He brought my guitar total back to life. He total went above and beyond to make sure that I got the guitar back better than expected. file:///var/mobile/Library/SMS/Attachments/bd/13/0A41E16E-BC9F-450C-9632-02F0A51885C3/IMG_4045.jpeg

Knows what he’s doing but treats you as if you’re bothering him. Go to him for help with restoring or specific repairs, not pickup swaps or setups.

This guy is amazing!!! Helped me out on a couple of my guitars and not only is his craftsmanship exquisite, but his prices are better then the retail shops around. If I could give more then 5 stars I would.

Hard to get a hold of. Took months to fix a broken bridge. Significant surface damage done to the Martin instrument. Have to send in to factory to hopefully have finish fixed but the wood is chewed up around the replaced bridge.

Saved me a heck of a lot of money.Asked for a setup and he reviewed the the guitar that I was sold (for 2700 dollars mind you) needed a lot of work. Was able to return it for full price and am currently in the process of finding something better. No charge by the way, good man.

Let me start by saying that I am not an easy person to please. I do everything I can myself because no one can ever do it the way I want it and I am never fully pleased. Not so with Mark. I was lucky enough to find Mark earlier in the year when I had some damage to my Martin J15. He got it back to me very quick at a great price and the workmanship was phenomenal. It now has some phantom crack on the side and he is the only person I will even consider going to. Take from someone who is hard to please he is the great.

Im a retired Gibson USA Custom Shop vendor and know what goes into making fine instruments. Even with my connections at Gibson, I chose to use Mark to work on my instruments. Hes an out-of-the-box thinker with the resolve and expertise to handle any and all problems you may have with your instrument no matter its value or uniqueness. Without a doubt, he an excellent craftsman and if you want it done right, go see Mark. To date Mark has completely refurbished 4 instruments for me. Believe me when I say, My instruments were returned back to me better than they were when they were new. Whats nice about Mark is that when he takes on a project, its like hes working on his own precious non-replaceable one-of-a-kind instrument; and, when he turns it over to you when hes finished he truly shares in the joy you feel from his arduous and wonderful effort. Id like to add that Mark sees his work from a musicians perspective. When you play an instrument hes worked on it, you will absolutely know what I mean. In all my years of playing, Ive never experienced that kind of oneness with my instruments until Mark made them right.

I contacted Martin & Co. about a guitar neck reset, and they recommended Mark Brumitt, for their warranty work. I dropped my D-18 off at Marks shop in August of 2016 and just picked it up in May 2017. Im really happy to have my Martin back and it plays so nice.
