Was raised on these doughnuts in Greenville, MS. Brings back memories from the flavor.
Great stuff. Good variety. Very nice people. Shipley is a tough name to live up to,but they do
Quality of products pales in comparison to its competition of Pillows Donuts across the street. This donut shop will be out of business in less than a year.Grade: C-
I have been to other Shipleys and this one does not compare, and not in a good way. They claim to serve kolaches. I am not sure what the rolls they serve is, but they are not kolaches.
Really need to do better. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because location is nice and lady who was at drive thru was very pleasant. I only visited the spot because I had visited trust care across the street…for some reason I haven’t noticed this location after all this time. I ordered 2 Sausage Kolache and 1/2 dozen glazed. First of all, I got the wrong kolache..I order sausage but end up getting a piece of thin/dry ham rolled up in the middle of a dry roll. No moisture at all. The donuts looked dry and tasted/smelled old. I tried to warm them up and suffer thru it but I just couldn’t kids were not even feeling them. Do better guys!
Food was good, quality was average, and customer service was good.Twice now Ive received the wrong type of Kolache, but it was still worth the money. I would recommend them to friends- just check your order before leaving. 😎
Great doughnuts, good customer service, why dont they sell 2% milk or skim milk? All they have is chocolate and whole milk.
Great selection of flavors, including cherry glazed! The donuts are always fresh and delicious.
The donuts were great! I took 2 dozen to work and everyone loved it.
I’d love to buy their product but this location does not accept contactless payment.
This place is wonderful and is great for a Saturday morning treat. Shipleys has always been my favorite, and Im so excited to have them in the area.
Service was great. Beignets were completely hollow. Not what I was expecting, but they were fairly good.
Have always liked Shipleys. I went to the Ridgeland location on 1/16/20 @7 am to get donuts to take to work for everyone. I ordered 1 dozen consisting of 6 glaze and 6 chocolate iced, 2 cream filled and 1 order of beignets. I pulled around after paying to await for donuts after 10 minutes went inside and they hadnt started on beignets and said be 5 minutes so I didnt have time so I asked for money back for beignets and left with the rest I ordered. Upon getting to work the donuts where terrible. They tasted old and cold. At 7:00 a.m. in the morning they should not be old and cold especially for the price they charge. Sad this location is bad
Really one of my favorite thing to eat In the morning
The best group in this area. The owners are friendly and know their regular customers very well.
Was there at 2:30 July 23rd, the lady working had a TERRIBLE attitude and clearly didnt want to be there. Wasnt wearing a mask or gloves in the middle of a pandemic, and clearly was breathing all over the food. She gave me the wrong donuts but refused to give me the right ones. I was super loyal to this shipleys but not anymore :(
Its Saturday 5:40am & bought 2 donuts that were cold & not fresh. These bought donuts tasted like they were made yesterday, then put into a walk in cooler over night just to be pulled out 30mins before I bought it because its easier to pay staff to cook fresh food at 2pm then coming in at 2am to do it.
Best donuts in town! Also Apple fritters are to die for!
Service was fast...facility was CLEAN!=
Best in the business.
Apple fritters are awful. Donut with a small amount of apple pie filling, stale. I should have listened to the other reviews
Love their selection of donuts, bigness, and coffee
They gave me cold donuts and tasted like they were a few days old...
The enthusiasm of the staff was so poor Ill never go back.
Quality and good service
