I went in with my elderly aunt who is partially blind and walks with a walker. James Padilla waited on us immediately. He was so friendly and easy to work with. Halfway through our visit, my aunt changed her mind on what she wanted and James went with the flow. When we finished we had a bed frame and mattress that my aunt loved! James made sure to include the shorter legs due to my aunts small stature. He even recommend a couple of restaurants we could try in the area. Our delivery is this Saturday and my aunt is so excited. These guys are very helpful. The store is clean and well set up to find what you need.I havent looked for a mattress in 15 years. Its way more than I remember. But the guy here explained the difference and made it easy.

Purchased a full matress and it was too large for the bed. Spoke to the manager and upgraded to a queen. When the matress arrived they had charged an adfitional $59.95 to pick and deliver the new mattress. No full disclosure and the 200 day trial period os a sham.I will not recommend this company to any one

Beware wouldnt recommend doing business at this location . Not transparent at all about their return policy. When I purchased the bed I felt like I didnt have very many options . The one thing thats was said is try it out for 30 days and if you dont like it come back in and we can try something else or refund it . I thought fair enough . The bed I received felt nothing like their models on the sales floor . After two weeks my back started hurting so I go back to the store and James tells me the refund cant be done until your trial ends but we can get you into another bed for more money .seemed very unreasonable. Pay more money or keep the bed untill the trial ends and cause more damage to my back .james hands me the paper that explains there return policy and and there is nothing that states you cant return until trial ends .it states recommended 45 day trial . James responds I can follow that to a T if you want and charge you 80 dollars for the return in retaliation . Why would I keep the bed risking damage so now I have to sleep on my couch for the next two weeks

I am writing this review from my wifes account. My wife Stefanie and I Jason went into the Mattress Firm off Southern and Unser yesterday 02/10/2017. The manager Ray was there and he did an amazing job helping us. I have 10 years plus of retail sales experience and specifically in management for many of those years. I can say hands-down that Ray is a stand-up guy and manager. He was extremely helpful and patient in answering all of our questions. I was most impressed and decided to purchase a mattress that day due to the fact that he did not try to push anything we didnt want or items that were out of our price range. I cannot say enough good things about this Mattress Firm store and the manager Ray, absolutely outstanding service! If you are going to shop for a mattress, I would highly recommend this store above all others. I had shopped around at a few different retailers and received the typical sales treatment. Not here! Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions. I do want to mention that I am a very respectful and appreciative customer and we all should be. The folks that get paid to serve us should be treated with respect and appreciated for their time. Thank you.

The manager, Jeff, was extremely helpful in showing us all the options to suit our mattress needs. To follow-up, the two mattress firm delivery men arrived on time, were courteous and helpful, and highly professional in quickly and efficiently setting up the new bed and showing us how to use the remote to adjust the mattress. All-in-all, a highly positive experience.

James help us out yesterday. He was amazing great customer service from him. I didn’t feel like he was only after my money, even after the sale he called me to tell me my delivery is running late. I will definitely recommend Jason all the time.

Horrible customer service by Greg manager and a seasoned or new guy we could not get a straight answer. Got charged a ton for a cheap mattress lied too and fed different stories about the purchase and when he tried to fix it he just got attitude. Never would go back or refer people there again.

Went in to buy a simple twin matress and was told they do not carru then in the store. The sales rep said I would need to drive down to commanche to get it. What the purpose of having a store in Rio rancho if you dont have stock. And business wonder why they are loosing business to Amazon.

I just went into Mattress Firm in Rio Rancho off Southern around 2 days ago because I had been looking at mattresses online and wanted to speak with a professional. Well Ray the manager was there, and he was beyond horrible, rude, and condescending. Online I had found the Hampton and Rhodes online special for the San Martin 12 Hybrid. When I asked him about it he said that New Mexico stores did not carry it and that I could not get this mattress. I politely asked him if he was sure because it was an ONLINE special, and again he told me it would not happen in the state of NM. Again, I politley said that I wasnt sure because the reviews said that it was shipped out from the website. He then got very upset and rude and told me condescendingly that I could go online and try to buy it, but that it would not happen. !nyhow, I then threw my hands up in the air and told him I did not want his help or to spend my money with him. I also called the store to complain to a manager and he knew it was me and informed me he was the manager. I just want to point out that Ray WAS DEAD WRONG!!!! I just spoke with a customer service representative online with much better customer service skills, and guess what? I was able to buy the mattress that I wanted and they can ship it to me...here in New Mexico. So not only was Ray RUDE--he obviously doesnt know what he is talking about either. If I could give Ray 0 stars believe me I would.

When I need bedding,a great place

We thought we bought a queen size bed, but received a full instead

We were told that we would be getting a Tempurpedic foundation. After a month of use I began to have back problems and thought it was a coincidence. A year later we go to purchase another mattress and decide to go with a platform bed and do away with a foundation. When I went to examine the box springs closer to see if it was the culprit for my bad back, I found that it was some knockoff brand and not the Tempurpedic foundation that we had been promised. When I further examined the quality I realized that box springs was a piece of sh*#.Amazingly enough we had this same problem with a Tucson, AZ Mattress Firm. They told us we were buying a Serta memory foam mattress. But when I noticed how quickly it began to compress I went to examine the mattress and receipt, believing Serta was of better quality than this. Well, they didnt even give us a Serta. Another knockoff brand.Mattress Firm has fooled me twice. Shame on me.
