Took my car in because I was having a speaker issue where my speakers were popping when bass would hit. Mario and his team were able to diagnose all my speakers and told me the amplifiers in my car were making too much bass for my speakers to handle and that’s what was causing the popping. Mario guided me to what would be the smartest thing to do and I ended up getting all new speakers and a subwoofer(because I still wanted that bass) installed by Mario and his team. The end result was amazing and I am very impressed by their work.If you are looking for a place to help you upgrade your sound system, or help you modify anything with your car, this is the place to go!

Ever since I bought my pickup I wanted to upgrade the outside lightning to be more visible- especially at night and poor weather. I called and made an appointment on the recommendation of 2 friends. I carefully discussed my options w/Mario when we met and a plan was set in motion lMMEDIATELY. I left the car and was told to wait for a call. They worked till 11pm to finish it!!They fixed my switchbacks DRL’s so they stay on constantly (white and yellow in one bulb), removed hitch receiver lock which was no longer operational, and installed a Switch Blade LED Tailgate Bar, as well as drilled and installed 4 permanent led’s as per my request.The blade seems to be a top of the line quality (comparable to Putco from my research)Bottom line - the finished product is IMPRESSIVE and absolutely STUNNING!!From what I saw and heard inside the shop their sound systems are quite something else as well!!It’s a shame I can’t post a video, because a 2D picture can not relate how truly awesome it looks and works, and how satisfied I am.

Amazing work done by Mario and his team on my ripped driver seat. Matching the color was a must, and he accomplished this beautifully. I took my 2019 sTI to this shop couple of weeks ago. I had my audio system messed up from the prior install at BestBuy. So, this time around I did my research and drove all the way from Buffalo Grove into this shop because of the good reviews. It turned out to be a smart decision.The things did not go smoothly on day one, it turned out that the radio unit itself had an issue that I wasnt aware of before. What impressed me the most, was how the shop owner reacted to the adversity. I got an audio tune up and added LED lights into my car and Mario and his team took very good care of me. The last place that had installed my sounds had no idea what they were doing and left my amp tuned entirely wrong which caused me to damage some of my speakers as well. I was a little skeptical from trusting any other audio place but as soon as I walked in Mario made me feel at home and showed me that I can trust him. He didnt try to up sell me anything but was courteous and showed me the best solution for my budget. The service was very good and fast as well. When I had come in for the LED lights my appointment was on a different day from a misunderstanding but Mario took care of me nonetheless! He also explains everything in very good detail and even gives me some cool ideas for what I could add next to my car. You can genuinely see that he is a good person and loves his job. My experience at M&M Pro Audio had been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I was really lucky to find this place after I needed to install a BAIID device in my car.The owner Maria and Lorena took their time to train me on how to properly use the equipment. They carefully explained a lot of possible outcomes with the most respect and empathy for the situation. I came back every month for a calibration as well as a few times the device malfunction and they were always very welcoming and helpful. They took a whole day to install my sound system, job was done nice and professional. Reason why I give 3 stars is simply because they charge for every little thing they do, super expensive to install a sound system. They over charge on anything.

My fiance went here to get a 0 gauge wire for his sound system in his car they didnt have any they said they would order it for him and go personally and pick it up Monday this was a Friday he call Tuesday to see if they had the wire that they said they would be getting him Monday that he prepaid for and they said they didnt have it he went to the shop Wednesday and asked them if they had it yet and they still didnt have it so he said okay you guys told me you would have it Monday and requested a refund they refused to give him a refund we waited a couple more days and then disputed the charge the dispute didnt go through for about a month three weeks after we filed the dispute they finally called and said we had the cord we didnt realize this few fully went through because we thought we had to print something out and send it in and I had yet to actually send in the paper and picked it up about a week and a half later the dispute went through and we got our money back they called flipping out instead of being any kind of calm or they called screaming and talking about the police needless to say we probably wont go here again its the worst customer service Ive ever experienced

Mario whos the owner is an amazing guy. Ive known him for many many years. He first installed an auto starter in my 1993 Ford Taurus and it worked till the car was dead. Then after he finally opened this shop, I had auto starter put in for 4 of my new cars and they work great. Im a doctor and Mario is like my brother. He is a very honest man and businessman. If you need your car to be safe then trust Mario and no one else. I dont call anyone to take a look at my car but Mario. I totally recommend him to everyone.

Picked up my 04 Jeep Liberty yesterday. I had a bluetooth radio put in, back up camera and they fixed my alarm system that wasnt working correctly. Mario and his team did a fantastic job. Maria kept me up to date on when it was expected to be done. Mario took the time to show me how to operate the new radio and he paired my phone for me. Hard working, honest people. With all that Ill be going back to get my wifes car done soon.

I have a Transit connect work van that I wanted to put a better stereo in ( the factory radio has a blazing 5 watts...yeah, I know I should be happy ). Mario, one of the owners, told me what he could do with it. We started with a new bezel so that we could reinstall the old radio when we went to sell it. They then modified it, ( over and over from my understanding ), and made fit a double din radio. Believe me when I say the truck was never designed for this. They hid an oversized amp under the passenger seat, a satellite antenna in the dash, a microphone in the header, and the wiring for my backup camera. They put speakers in places that didnt have speakers and you cant see ANYTHING! They had to install a sub woofer in one of the side doors because installation in the rear was impossible, but then built a box in the door. This is much more than I needed or expected ( this is a work truck, remember? ) I have had work done on other cars before but never had the quality of sort. This is absolutely competition quality work. There are no wires to be seen and the radio looks stock. My boss, who is not fazed by anything was exceedingly impressed. I now have 350 watts in my work truck. Great job, guys!

Went to M&M for a quote on new speakers for my Mustang. However, I did not go through with the process and decided to do my own research to get it done myself for cheaper. When taking off the door panel today, I found the door hinge cover broken today when taking the panel off for the first time myself. No other time has the panel been taken off. Unfortunately, I was not told that it was broken until I found it like that myself. It would have been nice if they told me so I could have fixed it.

I want to first start by describing my experience with a few other shops I called to deal with before going to Mario at M&M.Shop 1 - I called them described my car and they told me to come in, I went there told them my budget and they totally ignored my budget and went $700 over my budget. Their explanation is we dont sell cheap parts...Shop 2 - Called described my car and they said come in. I went there and they put together an estimate without even looking at my car and was giving me a price estimate for sizing on my car that werent even accurate...Shop 3 Called they said bring it in. I brought it in driving out of my way to get there. When I get there they said that I would need to leave my car with them half a day for me to get a proper estimate...Finally I called Mario, He asked me what type of car I had and stated he would have to do research on my car first before proceeding and that he would call me back. After doing the research he gave me some ball park ideas, but would have to bring my car in for him to inspect before giving any final estimates. I went there early on Saturday morning. He welcomed me into his shop asked me if I wanted some coffee which I agreed too. We sat down for an hour to discuss all my options according to my budget. The prices were all laid out for me to see and make my decision.After I made my decision I scheduled an appointment and dropped my car off for service. He kept me up to date on all the decisions I needed to make with the install. His crew did a great job with the install everything was professionally done and super clean. I initially went there for audio work, but left with tints as well. I will recommend all of my friends to go there and he has made a life long customer!In the end the difference between M&M and other shops is they cater to your wants, your music selections, your budget, and provide family style customer service!

Listen when I pulled into the shop they had no idea what was about to happen next... that’s right my car gave them some issues with the car alarm. I couldn’t get upset because they didn’t know the story with this vehicle and they was so customer service friendly they keep me calm as they assured they will take care of the problem. I panicked a few times but Mario kept his word and kept me informed along the way. We was at the point replacing the alarm with an another one until Mario and his team came through and fixed the issue and modified my alarm to my liking. I stopped by with my 2013 Hyundai Azera to put new heated steering wheel on. It needed some electrical modifications and I didnt feel comfortable doing it myself.I got my steering wheel swapped right away and all the wiring was fixed to make the heating option work.They did quick, clean and professional work! The Best Vehicle Installers in the Chicago land Area: I wanted to have an amateur radio and antenna installed in my vehicle and simply called Mario based on the posted testimonials on his website. I never have spoken or visited his shop prior to this contact. After speaking with him on the phone I followed up and visited his shop a few days later and I was really impressed with his knowledge on vehicle installations. I made an appointment with him and brought in my car a week later. Mario had a few suggestions on the install and I basically left it in his hands. Upon completion I could not be more happy with his work, both him and his son worked on my car and had it ready that same day. I’m an over the road truck driver and I wanted to mount a motorized tv stand on the ceiling of my sleeper. Mario listened to my request, He really listened to what I was asking him to do, he didn’t try to make it out to be something complicated, he said that he could do the job but was too busy for me to come in that day. He told me that he would be open on Sunday, and I came in the next day. Mario and his team, made me feel welcome and at home while I waited. Where do i even start? Mario and his team are phenomenal workers! They go above and beyond, at a reasonable price to satisfy your needs/wants. Its hard to explain how amazing this shop is. When I first called, I spoke with Mario and asked if we needed an appointment for the next day or weekend, he said he would be able to get us in that day, which was great news! I also asked him for an estimated price so I could come prepared.Later, I had a little trouble finding the shop, so I called back and spoke with Marios wife. We ended up being right across the street. I was trying to pull in the garage through traffic, and Maria came out to help us get in the right one. Great customer service! She showed us to the waiting area. We had our baby with us, but no one seemed to mind. In fact the seemed to enjoy him. The installation took a little longer then I expected, but they wanted to make sure we were happy with where the sub was going, and they wanted to do it right! Which I can definitely appreciate!! We didnt mind. The time actually flew by while we chatted with everyone. I needed to nurse my son, and Maria was so kind to find me a comfortable private spot to do so. While talking with Maria, she said they are all one big family there! I can definitely tell that! I felt so comfortable there. Everyone was so kind, and honest. Mario spoke with us again about price on doing something a little extra that we requested. I appreciated knowing up front about how much it would cost.After the install was finished they put everything back in our truck for us, which was not expected. Such a great added touch! Getting to chat with Mario before we left was nice too. We found out he had worked at a few other shops downtown and did some work for some Cubbies cars as well before finally opening his dream, his own shop!If we need anything done ever again, I would go out of my way to make it to Mario and his team. You dont find places like this everyday. Kind, honest, and hardworking. You can tell they truly love what they do, and they definitely strive to make their customers happy!!

I went into M&M because they were close to home. After speaking to Mario and telling him what I wanted, I was impressed that he didnt try to sell me anything outrageous. He even talked me out of spending more than I really needed to. We decided on a whole new system replacing the factory original. I was so impressed at our first meeting that I asked them to also re-tint my windows to the Chicago legal limits and to put a new convertible top on. Everything was done great. The only thing that changed from the original plans set was the size and placement of the subwoofer. When it was in the trunk and the top was down the sound was muffled. Mario wasnt happy and called me in for a consult. The final decision was to build a custom box and put it between the back seats, since this was wasted space, and down size from a 10 to an 8 inch subwoofer. The finished products came out great, especially the custom box. It looks great matching my interior down to the matching double stitching and the system sounds great with the top down, clear even at high volume levels. If youre looking for some upgrades or a whole custom set up I would definitely give M&M a chance at your business.
