Installation took less than an hour and half, dropped it off, and got a message when it was ready. Very professional considering most of our communication was via text. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Lost one of my keys for 2019 escape. They are about half the price of the dealer.They where fast, friendly, and professional.When I found the lost key a few weeks later it had to be reprogramed to the new keys (this is how it is with new cars). Again very reasonable and professional.

To start off the whole process was easy, Ive had the system installed in my vehicle since February 13, 2019 and except for one small issue that was resolved quickly and at no cost, everything still works great and in the future I plan on going back for any related services.I found this place on google and gave it a chance based on all the good reviews. I texted Steve and gave him my cars year, make, and model along with model of the remote start system I wanted to have installed. He got back to me fairly quick with a quote, so I called to make an appointment and gave a small deposit to hold my spot. Once I showed up he got work on my car and told me it would be a bit of wait so I called an Uber an left for home.Anyways once he finished with everything he called to let know and then showed me the features of my T11 Compustar remote start system and how to properly use it. He also demonstrated how the alarm will react to different levels of impact.In April of 2019 I replaced my vehicles battery and the remote start system stopped working. I texted Steve to see if he was available to take a look at it and he told me that he was closed for the day due to personal reasons, but he later texted me to text him again in a couple hours to see if he was available now. So I did and he was, he took care of the issue in a couple minutes. Ever since then even though I have disconnected my vehicles battery for service multiple times, the remote start system has continued to work properly without issue, so I guess the flashing of the module fixed the issue.In conclusion I have had nothing but good experiences at S&A Autosound. Both Steve and his receptionist have always been welcoming and I can honestly recommend this place to anyone.

She showed me the remote starts and they were able to squeeze me in same day. Within and hour and a half I went and picked up my car. Great company to have work done, even though i have a cheap vehicle that shows signs of use and abuse, Steve still took care of the car as if it was a high end luxury vehicle, the wires for my remote start were soldered for a secure connection, and ziptied to a secured location out of the way of moving parts, affordable price, it was worth the trip from WI as i trust his work, i will be bringing my next vehicle to him again, Gene and Judes is right around the corner for awesome food while the vehicle is getting the work done.

The remote starter installation was incorrectly wired. At first he ignored my texts and after stopping by his shop he told me it was due to interference that was causing the car doors to not unlock intermittently. After a total of 4 times returning back and him giving me the same excuse, he finally conceded that he wired it incorrectly. He clearly for no other reason than negligence wasted my time & belittled my intelligence in order to avoid dealing with his screw up. The great inconvenience he caused was not remedied with any bill adjustments. He also left pieces of wire casings and the plastic adhesive backing from the antenna on the cars floor.

I called around the city for quotes on replacing my lost car key. All the quotes in Chicago were $150 for just a key. Steve price was $75. They even came to the city to drop the key off at my house. He even threw in a remote he had laying around the shop. Now this is going above and beyond for their customers. They are awesome and will recommend them to my friends and family.

I bought a arctic start remote start from another shop and I didn’t have a great exp with them so I didn’t go back. I found S&A on the web and gave them a call because I wanted to add the drone mobile module to my remote start. Steve informed me if I had the right model he could just add it on, otherwise there might be some rewiring involved. Steve took me in the same day I called and checked out my remote start and told me that it did indeed have another data output. Steve installed the drone mobile and threw in a temp sensor and cleaned up my remote start install. I will be going back in the spring to install my audio system since Steve took care of me right away.Tony

Brought my vehicle here to get some info on a remote start I had installed by another dealer who didn’t allow me to have takeover and Steve knew exactly the problem. He’s very detailed oriented and explains everything with great detail! Just from talking to him you can tell he’s very good with his customers. I just had both my cars done. Remote start and alarm. The service was incredible. He was so professional and I had both my cars back the same day. This guy does awesome work and I would highly recommend him to family and friends. Thanks again.

Always friendly staff, if he cant fix it or get it done. He knows who can. Thats rare though. Extremely knowledgeable. Dont shy away from a visit.

Ive gotten several remote starts from Steve, he has always went the extra mile for his customers. My family has been there as well, Total of vehicles he has worked on from me and family is around 12 already.
