The employees at this store are getting paid to have a nice party where they all chit chat at the back. No one helps you and no one knows what is going on. I usually use best buy but I will be switching to staples next door where their manager seems more effective and the employees actually work.
It was great!. We ordered by phone, drove to Best Buy, walked in, our order was ready and we were home in 15 minutes. Loved it. 😍
Wow! Great customer service! I returned a universal remote control and didn’t know that I had 15 days to return. I was over the 15 days and just assumed like other stores it’s 30-60 days to return.Tracey didn’t hesitate to ask the manager to give me store credit and the manager didn’t hesitate either and wow I’m so happy right now. They didn’t hesitate or make me feel like an inconvenience at all. Tracey was genuine and very kind to me.I’ll be returning to this location very soon. Go there for all my electronic needs. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Love their fast delivery service and large selection of products available in the store to choose from.
Store has always been neat and tidy without fail. Ive both ordered online and just gone in to shop and have not encountered any issues finding the items I have needed. As with any store one can always want more stock to be carried, but shelved products are based on consumer demand. Prices have been comparible to other options available, with the added bonus of being able to drive over to pick it up versus having to wait for a shipment to deliver. Having two best buy locations in the city pretty much guarantees that what you need is available.
Geek squad sent the computer out to be repaired. Waited several months. The computer was all smashed up. The base of the computer was broken and taped to the top of the computer. They got to keep the computer and I’m out $2000. I call that excellent service. I payed my Best Buy card off and closed account. Never doing “business “ with them again.
They really need to add negative stars on here but anyways if anyone wants to see the biggest JOKE in Riverbank head over to Best Buy & ask for the manager named Ricky.. thought you would @ least know how to act & have good customer service to be a manager but I guess @ this store thats not a qualification!! I promise hes the best Joke of the day, go find out..
The store employees here were extremely unmotivated to help. I get quicker service and a shorter wait time at my doctors office. I ended up just going to staples next door. They were extremely helpful and I got what I needed in under 10 mins. Switching to staples for all my business needs after this experience at the riverbank store.
I enjoy shopping in the best buy the sale people are very nice to you and help you anyway they can I the Geek squad they help with your computer if you dont know how. Good service!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, found a great Mimi tripod that works with a standard camera screw on mount plus one for a smart phone, and the legs are flexible so the tripod can be attached to a pole. The best thing was it was under $10 . I guess thats why theyre called Best Buy.
Very poor selection they do not stand behind their warranty. Bottle lemon and they refuse to replace it even after they said they were going to then would work place it after I complained. But they had no idea when or how to get ahold of the department to handle the return. Would not recommend best by for anything. I generally used to like those store but since the pandemic hit they have dropped so bad and service I would rather go to Walmart or another facility, they do not have very good repair services. One repair service person took a sharpie and wrote on the inside of our washer for the serial number messed up scratch it out and wrote it again. When complained they said they would replace the door and found out there was more wrong with it than initially thought and they said that they would replace it after almost a year still not replaced and theyre charging me interest. Going to go ahead and take them to small claims court get all my money back go over across the way to home Depot and buy the same model but with a better warranty and customer service. So sad that their company has taken a downturn with customer service.

Purchased item, they did not give sell price, put product in purse, went back to where item was on shelf to check, took item out of purse and handed it to guy working, went back to register with worker carrying my item I purchased, they checked to see if item was on sale, worker said he didnt Remember me giving him item I purchased, I told them go check the cameras and you will see me handing him item out of my purse, waiting 10 minutes, they came back and said yes camera showed me handing him item out of my purse. I said give me my money back and I left very angry. Hard to give all details. Should have asked for manager

No other electronics retailer left. Circuit city, the good guys, all gone. Best Buy does ok, although they no longer match prices with all online retailers. B&H for example, which offers a more comprehensive selection and better service.
My experience is different from the other low rating reviews. I came here looking for a new modem and i was offered help in finding the item and the employee answered all the questions that I needed. The other employee who rung me up was also really cool. We talked about Pokémon cards (I was there to pick some up) and I decided to buy the geek squad protection for my modem because their service seems to be good.I will have another update when/if the modem ever decides to fail. I have read reviews of the geek squad not taking care of warranty items, but I hope that day does not come for me.

I had spent all day trying to find a refrigerator as mine broke. All the other stores said it would take 1 week to a month and a half to get one delivered. I found 2 I loved here cheaper than the other stores, delivered free and in 3 days. The guy who helped me was super nice and made great points I had not thought of, answered questions and showed me the options. I am so happy I took a chance a popped in I never thought it would be a great place for appliances but it was and the service was wonderful
Tried getting a controller in store, shelves were empty. Looked online and had a curbside pickup for the controller I wanted within 5 minutes. Next time do curbside and dont worry about leaving your car!

The complaint I have is that I purchased a new hood range for over a gas stove for my mom. When we got home the motor was froze. They couldnt get another one for 2 weeks so I had to go somewhere else to get one. Long story short the time I went to return it was after my 90 days. I live a hour away and my mom was battling cancer. She passed away in June and since I was outside the 90 days they wouldnt Credit my account for rhe purchase. I had also got the warranty on it, since I did that they gave me a gift card for rhe store which I cant use to pay my bill. Money is right and a gift card is better than nothing but o still think they could have done more. That being said they still were very nice.
Took my computer to the Geek Squad in Riverbank because my computer was running slow and the DVD would not work. They looked at it for maybe 5 minutes and just said I needed a new computer. I have since updated windows and put new driver in for my DVD. Things are better now. They did not charge me, but they didnt even try. Will take my equipment elsewhere next time, very disappointed.

Best Buy is getting better at competing with Amazon on straight price (sale prices mostly). Theyre also doing well at matching Amazons prices, as long as the item is shipped and sold by Amazon. Customer service has been much improved,and the staff has been very helpful during my last several visits. Less one star for low product selection and availability.

Customer service was pretty good even though the guy who was helping me kept having to stop to help another person. But they seemed to be a little shorthanded so it didnt bother me that much. He was pretty knowledgeable about what i was buying also.
Employees sell products they have no knowledge of. If you ask one of their specialists if a particular product will work with your existing electronics they will tell you yes, even if they dont know. I took my laptop with me to purchase a replacement charger. The sales associate said it would. I asked if we could be sure, and was assured it was what I needed. I took both my laptop and new charger home. It wasnt the correct part. I went back 20 minutes later and was given pushback about returning it from the same associate who just sold it to me. I got my refund and went next door to Staples. The associate there took one of their charges out if the box and made sure it charged my laptop. Go to Staples instesd

I just want to say be aware when you purchase insurance for any of your products. They take 2 months to fix your product. They will not give you your money back or exchange it. You will be without your product until it gets fix and let’s hope it gets fix because they will not exchange it or give you your money back they will just send it to repair again until your warranty runs out. I will never purchase anything from Best Buy and definitely will NEVER buy there insurance.
I ordered a TV for curbside pick up. I was notified 15 min after purchase it was ready for pickup. I parked, clicked box to advise them I was there & 5 min later my TV was loaded. It took 50 minutes to order, pickup & my round trip to & from store was 30 minutes. That was a great shopping experience having never used Best Buy curbside pickup.

I bought a lg side by side fridge less than 2yrs ago and I also purchased a 3yr service plan, the sides of the fridge are bulging out so bad that the shelves inside are barely hanging on, i called and setup a appointment and they sent someone from lg who said it couldnt be fixed and until shelves fall nothing will be done so i went to store in riverbank and spoke to a Thomas the manager of geek squad he said had to be a appointment with geek squad so made appointment he never showed up so back to store another appointment well they just left said cant be fixed and again i have to wait until shelves fall

I prefer going to the Riverbank Best Buy rather than the Modesto one as I live east of McHenry. Its easier to get to and way easier parking. I went in to return a movie I had inadvertantly ordered as a duplicate. It was easy in - out, zip - zop. For yall not familiar with the zip - zop it is very similar to the zip - zoom only different. Ya know what I mean? Of course you do I knew youd pick right up on that.Anyway, I dread the Best Buy near the 99 highway cuz its always crowded and traffic is a mess over there. Of course its bigger and near Costco and probably more convenient if ya live over thatta way. But! Ive found if you order it online and dont want it stolen off your porch you can pick it up at the Riverbank store.... easy in - out, zip - zop. My 2 cents worth. 😊

The taco trucks always have good tacos at the best price in town. But burritos are as expensive as elsewhere. The environment is intimidating and often people ask for handouts. That is not the fault of the trucks.

Is very clean but very short staff. We had to wait for over 45 minutes to pick up a TV and the phone service it took a long time. But staff was nice.

Made a purchase online and was approved with affirm and received e-mail and text from best buy that it was not complete so I came into store and was told that it was ok and not to worry then received another e-mail that my order was cancelled? And Im still showing balance on affirm account for several thousand.

Wanted to buy IPhone SE walked in asked the Verizon Bestbuy employee. Pretty sure he just discriminated me because he said there were none available only in San Jose. Went online and it said I can pick up an unlocked IPhone SE in just two hours from that exact same store. Hopefully they get better training
