I almost missed a great opportunity meeting such a excellent stylist and team. They took really good care of me and made me feel at home. I failed to tell the braiding technician I was tender headed, she figured it out. She was very gentle, polite and patient with my quirks. I would recommend this salon to anyone local or from long distance. See you in a month guys.

Update (Oct. 1) If you are thinking about visiting Hair Fetish in Riverdale for the first time, please read this review. I need you to be prepared. I visited this salon for the first time after reading a ton of positive reviews online. I had the worst experience in a salon I have ever had. The stylist totally disregarded my concerns and left me with a damaged scalp.After three weeks my scalp is still healing. My scalp was tender for days after taking down the sew-in, inflamed for weeks. I’ve had bumps and scabs. They have finally fallen off and left behind bald spots. I’m young and healthy and my hair has been kept healthy and natural for years. I have never experienced hair loss before. It is entirely due to the trauma of the hairstyle. I have never heard of or seen anything like it before. Be firm with Nigeria. Or go to someone else you trust.Sept. 7I’m gonna start this review by saying beauty should not hurt. No woman deserves to lose sleep over a hairstyle.My experience with Nigeria at Hair Fetish was the most troubling experience I’ve had with professionals in the hair care industry. First of all, I should have left when I learned that all hair services must be paid in cash and customers sign a liability waiver. I went in for a sew-in. I picked out nice hair and was ready to be pampered. That is not what happened. Nigeria was completely too rough. The washing station was awkward and she threw my head around in the basin. She was entirely too rough brushing it out.She started to braid the base and it was SO tight it felt like she was wrapping my scalp into the braid. I told her it was too tight but it was all downhill from there. She kept braiding, and tied it up even tighter with the string before she started installing the tracks. It was way too tight, I told her and she said it would loosen up. As the appointment went on it got more and more painful. I made the mistake of paying and leaving to go home and suffer it on my own. I could barely move my head, couldn’t put my head down on the pillow. The pain was excruciating.After a night of lost sleep I tried my luck going back and letting her know what I was experiencing. She ignored everything I was saying, and even fought with me. I tried telling her that the installation was way too tight, and she just put a lot of product in it to sooth it but refused to take the tracks down..I left again, still in excruciating pain. After nearly 36 hours of consistent throbbing pain and too many painkillers, I realized the hairstyle was dangerously tight so I Immediately started cutting strings two nights later. You know it was dire for me to do something like that. It was not your typical tight or anything to just grin and bear. She should have understood that. For a hair loss expert, Nigeria demonstrated absolute disregard for the health of my hair and scalp.Nigeria refused to ease up on the braids, pulled my scalp up tight with string and then after hearing i was in excruciating pain did nothing but talk. I am still feeling pain and tenderness in my scalp. Again, worst experience ever.I would steer clear of this salon. For the price, it’s definitely not worth it unless you like torture. Nigeria charged me 825 dollars for the sewin. She refused to refund, the cash only things is a scam. The liability waiver protects the scam.

I AM IN LOVE WITH MY HAIR and with Nigeria! Everything about my experience was EXCEPTIONAL! From the consultation, to my appointment, to the end result! Simply FABULOUS! I had a particular hairstyle in mind and she went above and beyond to give me what I asked her then EXECUTED it! She treated me like family! Very professional but also fun! If you want your hair done RIGHT, this is the place to go! Nigeria, you are magical!

I came here right after cutting my long locs of 6 years. I was uncertain how to move forward with my hair so I visited Hair Fetish ATL. The staff is friendly and warm. Nigeria totally changed my whole vibe! She has a huge heart and was able to see exactly the style I needed. She put s texturizer and a lil sexy golden color in my hair and honeyyyyy Lemme tell ya!! I LOVE IT! Everyone was so cool and hyped me up to help my confidence with my new look.

Horrible experience, definitely a rip off.

After getting my hair done here earlier this week by a new stylist, I was crushed when my hair didn’t turn out right. Luckily Nigeria gave me a call to fix the issue and offered to fix my hair. She was extremely professional and very knowledgeable about all things hair. Plus, I’m more than pleased with how everything turned out!! I will definitely return in the future.

Nigeria is my stylist for life. She is the best. She blocked my appointment time so that I was the only one in her shop until she got my hair ready. When she was done with me and I saw the finished product I had tears in my eyes. Yall please check her out. You will not be disappointed.

I am pleased with the service and knowledge of Ms. Nigeria Harris. I have been a loyal client of hers for 3 years now. Nigeria did my hair and she was so helpful even down to helping me find products to help my hair grow healthy. Her daughter usually preps me first (who by the way is the freakin sweetest) and then we go right into her putting my crochet locs in. My experience with her is always wonderful and I’m always kept laughing. Would recommend her any day of the week!

My experience with this company was absolutely terrible. Not only was the hair quality awful, and overpriced but the customer service was very unacceptable. And I had to experience all of this two days before my birthday. Please save your money everyone and try out some other hair companies such as SoFetchTresses or Gracious Hair Boutique.

Outstanding Platnium Blonde Bundles

I came to the this location because it was the only place that could do my hair same day when every location was booked. I asked for a beachy wave just simple and showed the stylist the picture of what I wanted. Don’t get me wrong the stylist was very nice but the work isn’t there I ended up looking like little bo peep it was really awful and I had an event that I was attending and had to pay again at a different salon to get what she did fixed. I wish I would have read the reviews before coming here.

Omg the hair is sooo pretty I purchased a 20” deep wave full lace wig and I love it!!! The lace literally melts into my skin. Can you say scalp? Yes scalp I love it!! I will be shopping again

This is one of the best salons in downtown Atlanta. Tess is can slay your wig perfectly with at least 2 to 3 weeks wear before maintenance. Tess customer service is excellent and she has always been very helpful. Also do try there wigs and bundles they are the best quality of you are bleaching to another color. I give 5 stars

I spent $500 on a 24”frontal & 30”3 bundles.This hair tangles/shed a lot. The doesn’t even get straight, not even with the expensive $300 flat irons or hot comb. I use purchase this hair all the time. I never bought hair from the Riverdale location, I’m not sure if they changed vendors or what. this hair is trash & im mad I spend all that money on some hair that didn’t last a week. Don’t waste your money like I did 🤦🏽‍♀️So disappointed in this company.

Let me just be brief customer service and professionalism is everything. You call yourself running a business but get mad at me because you didnt have the product that my stylist uses how does that work never again ghetto hot mess I will never spend my money for bad service.

I have been purchasing hair from Hair Fetish for a while now. When they opened the location on Northside Drive I actually got my hair done in their salon for the first time and it turned out nice. Today I had the grave misfortune of speaking with Alonzo at the Riverdale location and now Hair Fetish will never get another dime of my money. He was so rude and disrespectful I had to look at the phone to make sure I was speaking with someone answering the phone at a business. Then, to add insult to injury when I asked him not to scold me for coming at 7:42 pm when the website says they close at 8:00 pm he hung the phone up on me. I was only stopping by to drop off some hair, not to have any services rendered.Therefore, Im not sure why he was so nasty with me, but his tone, attitude and energy are all wrong! I have heard stories and read some of the reviews regarding the unprofessional behavior, but that wasnt my experience until today. Alonzo definitely needs a crash course in Customer Service ASAP!

Called to ask some questions about wig installation after seeing the companys advertisment on social media. The male who answered the phone was unbelievably rude. He spoke to me as if I where a 3 year old and clearly was not interested in customer service or my patrionage. I will never use Hair Fetish and am at a loss for how theyve stayed in business by treating customers in this manner. Shame on you, Mr. And you know exactly who you are.

They did a horrible job on my friends hair. They wound not make it right on the same day or even give her money back. They are morally not good business people. I gave them one star because Google wouldnt let me give them. No stars. The stylist knew she did a piss poor job and still the owner who talked to my friend over the phone not in person still did not make it right. I really wish I could post these pics.
