Prices basically at MSRP. Can get games much cheaper online. If you play games there it is good to support their business. As I only typically play games from home I will only buy when I dont want to wait for games to show up

The environment in this store is so cozy and welcoming! The staff here are super friendly too. They have a great selection of board games, role playing game supplies and pokemon cards. If you like that kind of stuff you have to check this place out!

You want a classic hangout to play board and card games this is THE place to be. Awesome selection and the guys that run it are really cool and helpful. Also one of the only places that sell Pokemon singles in the valley.

My children and I love this spot! Very grateful to the owners for opening this great place. When you walk in the doors you’re immediately greeted and feel welcome. This is not a judgmental atmosphere. It’s just gamers wanting to game with fellow gamers. Beginners are more then welcome by everyone who is willing to teach the rules of game play! Take a seat, play a game. Make friends and enjoy refreshments they have to offer as well! rent games or buy games also available. This is exactly my sort of place! I’ll be there often ✌🏻🥰

This store is one of the most welcoming place I’ve ever been to. This store has a tremendous selection. Some of the best staff that they could’ve ever hired. People come in knowing that they’ll be happy and leave happy. This store is worth going to see.

Love it, I can use store credit on anything I want, and every Friday is draft, commander, modern, and standard so if I get bored or angry at one I can choose something else instead

Tremendous game store in Roanoke that provides a comfy atmosphere to play tabletop games of all type (Warhammer might be a bit of a struggle, go to Mishap Games for large scale battles). Friendly staff who love their job and love helping customers. Session time is affordable and comes with a snack. Lots of variety in board games, tabletop RPGs, and card games in stock. One of my favorite places to go in Roanoke.

My very first impression was that the store didnt have much merchandise. Upon second look it is later out like an old world curiosities shop, items on tables, piled up etc. I love it!. Makes finding things a bit of an adventure and it feels like every time you look there is something new. Selection was good, prices were also.

Amazing game shop . When one walks i all u fell is the love and dedication to a hometown shop made for people to build community in. Owner is awsome and the manager is also right there to belp with whatever i needed. There also really amazing murals made by a local artist. This should be one of the top facts but they have a library of board games u can play all day long for 5 bucks it is amazballs

It is literally the only place my moody teen gets excited go visit 🙄For $5 a person (no table fee for kids 12 and under) you get a drink, a snack, and access to a huge collection of board and card games for the day. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help you learn how to play a new game.

Went for the first time to hang out with some friends. Definitely a geeks Paradise. I love their games library. Rent a board game and have fun! Great way to get out of the house and socialize. They even have little snacks and drinks for sale. Guys have a great spot going.

Great place! They have so many options for getting together and playing games of all types. Very reasonably priced. They have a TON of board games that you can play there, and a great selection of new games that you can purchase. We love being able to try out a new game before buying it. Josh and Tim are always helpful, and will often sit down and teach how to play a game. I cant say enough good about them!

Great play to get an introduction to many role playing, card based (Magic, Pokemon, etc) and general gaming. Staff is very helpful. For $5 per player, you can try out any game they have available. Good offering of snacks and beverages. My daughters art group meets there and they get to socialize and spend time drawing, crafting, whatever for free.

I took my son there to play and he had a lot of fun. Staff was great. We will definitely go back

A wonderful and unique environment to explore new board and card games! Day pass option lets you play any game in the store for a low price! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and will even play games with you to teach you new games!

This was the type of gaming store I wish I had had when I was growing up. Their board game library is filled with a lot of good games I know, and countless more that I have never heard of! And just $5 to play as much as you want with a snack included? And they let you bring in food to eat? It just blew my mind. Parking can be a bit competitive, but it is absolutely worth it. The prices on the games for sale seem reasonable and not inflated like other game shops I have visited. I personally know nothing about Magic the Gathering, but if thats your thing, they have a healthy community. As for Dungeons and Dragons, their Facebook community organizes a lot of games and they have a bookshelf of old and new reference books and modules to read. And the workers there are eager to help and converse.

You have to visit this place if you enjoy any kind of tabletop gaming! Such a cool atmosphere!

A far cry above and beyond the other gaming store in town. This place is the best. For a monthly membership you get unlimited access, can learn a new game with the staff, access to their huge game library, and there are tons of events going on.

This is the best board game store that I have ever visited. Anyone in the hobby knows the common downfalls of a board game shop. It can too small, too cramped, too pricey, poor social skills in the staff, etc. Blade completely subverts it all. Josh, the owner, is the friendliest, most welcoming owner Ive dealt with. He is always happy to chat, will teach you how to play any of the numerous games available in the library and really makes this place something special. The place is rather large which works out wonderfully. There are Magic games essentially every night, which could crowd out boardgamers (Ive seen this a lot at other stores). But there is plenty of space for the Magic players in the section of the store away from the game library. The place is clean, the prices are often below MSRP and you get 5% off if you get a membership.Quick note. There are table fees here. $5 per person. This includes unlimited time, and they will teach you to play games, which is worth way more than $5 in my opinion. They also have a monthly or yearly membership that pays for itself in 3-4 visits and you get several included sodas and snacks every month. My wife and I bought the month and we broke even with the daily rate in a week.I cannot recommend Blade Gaming enough.

Amazing place. This is a table top gaming store for playing magic the gathering, Pokémon, doungens and dragons, and everything in between. Prices are better than most places, the two owners are extremely nice and truly care about the customers. They do everything they can to insure everyone has a great time and feel welcome in the shop. There is a wall of different games you can play with for free and a genouras snack area to purchas from, weekly events, and a lounge area where you can relax charge your phone or do puzzles. They also have alot of fun little competitive insentives like weekly champions. There is also a skate shop attached in the back managed by Joshs son (one of the owners) over a I very highly recommend this shop for any game lover.
