My favorite gift shop in Roanoke! Serenity Treasures is a unique store with a variety of fair trade and handmade items from around the world. The owners are so friendly and generous by offering discounts on my purchases. Such a blessing to have people that truly care and strive to bring “serenity” to the lives of their customers. I’m so grateful for the singing bowl lessons and I’m enjoying reading your book Practical Wisdom of Himalayan Meditation Bowls full of amazing techniques and wisdom! Looking forward to my next treasured visit.

Lovely store the customer service was outstanding!! The female owner helped me with rings and found me this beautiful Moonstone necklace 🥰 also everything in the store was labeled with meanings … I plan on going back next week with my friends to shop! I went in just thinking it was a gift shop but was surprised on what I found I found some lively earrings for my mother and they offers me a 15 dollar discount and a free polishing!

I have been a native of southwest for years, and I always look forward to treating myself to a shopping trip here. My pashmina’s are great quality, I’ve gotten several pieces of my favorite jewelry, and most recently I purchased a great t-shirt from the sales rack & a rainbow hematite. They do push for sales, but don’t be afraid to say no! Most of the time you can work with them on a price negotiation. They are so kind and helpful from start to finish, as long as you stay stern on showing you aren’t a pushover you can find exactly what you need! And what a VARIETY they have! I prefer here over a little bit hippy.

I was happy with my purchases. The owners made me great deals and I spent quite a penny here. I loved the merchandise. If youre complaining about price, maybe you shouldnt be shopping handmade items. I bought a gorgeous piece of selenite for a very reasonable price, an entire outfit for me and my daughter, a scarf, a pin, and a knitted head beanie for my daughter. I feel the clothing was quality and regret nothing. Were in a pandemic and theyre trying to make a living too, especially being literally in the downtown location... They pay rent as well. Not everything is expensive and if you buy more than one item, theyll likely break you a deal.

I was drawn in to the store by the beautiful dresses hanging out front. They have absolutely gorgeous merchandise. The owners were engaged salespeople. Very friendly, but only 3 stars because nearly everything I looked at was grossly overpriced. I dont mind paying more for quality crafted items, but it was too much and too far. Luckily I have a good idea of what similar merchandise costs so I left without buying anything. What a shame. I would have purchased something but I cant in good conscience support that kind of ethic. I dont begrudge them a living, but be reasonable.

I’m new to Roanoke and was extremely happy to find this store during my walk.. but I’m sad to say that I will never return. The woman that “assisted” me was not at all interested in genuinely helping, instead she was just trying to haggle me out of money. I’ve been to countless metaphysical stores, gift/jewelry shoppes that sell AUTHENTIC and hand crafted jewelry and they were no where close to the price she was trying to sell her bracelets for.The chakra bracelet I ended up purchasing that she claimed was from Nepal and was soooo authentic, DID NOT even have the chakra stones IN THE CORRECT ORDER and upon further examination, it was very cheaply made. I ended up throwing the bracelet away minutes after leaving the store. I wish I inspected it more instead of falling into the trap of being rushed to purchase. What a waste of money. I would rather drive 3 hours to go to an authentic, handmade jewelry store than to ever step foot in there again. I’m so disappointed..Focus on genuinely helping customers instead of thinking about how quickly you can take money from them.

You should visit this place, even if not all of the items are to your interest. The people who work here are remarkably friendly, and there are things here you wouldnt find anywhere else. Many items and clothes from Nepal.

I love this store, has a wonderful vibe, and the family owning it is extremely kind. However, their prices are quite steep. Either that, or I dont know how to haggle for a better price. Fine folks, beautiful store, but quite expensive. If you are willing to spend a bit more money, go for it. But I wouldnt say its particularly good for middle-class shoppers like myself.

Loved what I heard from a Yogi Dev, he’s very insightful and my time there was no less than emotionally energizing! Brought my son back and he stood listening to Yogi .... beautiful mind time spent. Looking forward to my book, and don’t forget to sign it for me!! See you next trip.

Absolutely love this place. Owned by husband and wife that have a very strong solid work ethic. They sell very unique items and tells you the story of where each originated from. We purchased an opal (moonstone) necklace from them last year with our daughters red birthstone in it. We also got a peridot butterfly ring. Today they had the matching earring set to the moonstone necklace last year, so we purchased that too. Along with a mom/baby elephant ring. So elegant and fits perfectly.They are very family centered and its just a perfect gift place for your loved ones! Definitely check it out when youre Roanoke VA next!

Bought a sterling silver ring from Nepal.. turned my finger green with 6 hours. Shop not reccomend shopping here.

While the place is beautiful, and sells amazing pieces, it’s nothing you can’t get in tangle wood mall for less, or Amazon. My teenagers wanted to go in to spend money, which they had enough of, btw, and I walked out to let them shop because my back was hurting and I needed to sit down. (Car wreck several years ago). I sat on the stoop, so I could also watch my kids, and the owner guy came out and asked me to move. Said I could sit in the corner, but couldn’t block customers coming in, which i wasn’t doing... I was moved to the side. My kids heard it, and put the stuff back they were going to buy, their choice, and we left.

If I could give this store 10 stars I would! The couple who run it are super nice! And they always have such beautiful items!

It’s a great store I’m obsessed with Indian Himalayan and things like that it’s a very good store although they hardly ever answer there phone and I was wearing something from the store I had purchased previous times and I was charged for it but it’s ok very good store

*SELLING FAKE SILVER FOR TOP DOLLAR* I purchased a sterling silver ring for $24.00, it was originally $50 (he gave me 50% off WHATTA DEAL) It immediately turned my finger green the next day. So I took it back to get a refund, but the owner would not refund me and made me exchange. When I picked out another ring he tried charging me $10 extra on top of the $24 I already spent (the new ring originally costing $69.00) I shouldn’t have even paid $10 for the ring in total, the second ring turned my finger green in less than 24hrs. Such a big disappointment I wear my sterling silver rings everyday and never have a problem with my fingers Turing green (the owner tried convincing me that your finger turning green is normal... what...? No.) he is selling fake silver for top dollar! I will NEVER give this company another penny. Rip off.

Loved this store and plan on returning.
