Ive been going to Butittas in Rochelle since they first opened this location many years ago. Ive had then service several of my cars over the years and have always found them to be fairly priced and honest. Most recently I brought my car in convinced I needed new brakes. At the end of the day Mike called saying they carefully looked over my car and my brakes were in good shape. They found an unusual problem which was an easy (and inexpensive) fix. These guys are good! I would recommend them to anyone.

The mechanic found a suspension problem. Mike explained the problem clearly so we could understand. Then Mike scheduled an appointment for the next day (which is today.)We wont take our vehicles anywhere else and it really is a bonus having Mike wait on us because he always makes us feel comfortable. This is the third time I used this company. I have a 2016 Tuscan. I have regular preventive maintenance done. I had scheduled a minor work. I am grateful for the mechanic for checking the spark plugs. I saw the condition they were in. Since I have not been driving as much with the Illinois shutdown, I was not surprised at the condition of them. I had moved here from Loves Park where I kept my records of all work completed on the vehicle. This gave me an advantage and reference for the work that was being recommended. Due to lack of driving, the fluids were also checked. Again, they were not in the condition needed to maintain optimum performance. The manager Mike, explained numerous options I had as well as reviewing the history as he problem solved what was best or acceptable to meet my desire to keep the car longer and having it run well. He gave the prices for the work, and offered a protection plan. Together we were able to consider how best to meet my needs. I found him knowledgeable and willing to answer any question I had concerning the advantages and disadvantages of the timeline I was considering for the repair work. I was able to talk to the mechanic and hear his opinion also. I am pleased with the choice I made and the repair work done. i believe my car is in good shape for the upcoming winter. I now have a protection plan that will serve the car well for the next 30,000 miles as well as a company I know i can trust to listen to my needs and provide quality service.

The staff was great informed me of everything and did what I asked for without making it an ordeal all of the other shops wouldn’t listen to what I needed and telling me without looking what needed done but here they were very kind and didn’t force repairs I didn’t need. I was charged a lot of money for a repair that wasnt done...then they recommended i have my vehicle towed for junk. After all theres a pay buy, pay here right up front. They overcharge and then offer a coupon to defray the cost.

I had a brake line spring a leak yesterday evening in Rockford. I managed to temporarily patch the leak to get it home safely, but I needed to get it properly fixed as soon as possible. Since my normal mechanic was overbooked, I went in here today for the first time to see if there was any way they could get me in today, and even though they seemed busy, he said he thought he could. They were able to order the part and get it done by closing time for me to pick it up. Automotive work is always expensive, and I wouldnt say it was cheap, but they were very friendly and accommodating and got my pickup back on the road right away for me. I will definitely consider them again.
