The cafe attendant was so nice and friendly as was the cashier. I liked the atmosphere a lot too...it was somehow different from the other Barnes and Noble location I have visited. I cant wait to go back and browse here.

The Rochester hills location of Barnes & Noble is one of my favorite places to go. I love Barnes & nobles no matter where they are, but this is one of my favorites because its one of those ones thats just bigger than you expect when you first walk in. Which is funny to say cuz most of them are if youve been there often enough theyre still so big that youre like whoa. I like the setup of this one more than most locations just because its different in a way that still makes a lot of sense. Also every Barnes & Noble I go to people are really nice nine times out of 10 but especially the staff.

Its been a while since Ive been to a B&N and this one took me back to the early years. Very reminiscent and somewhat nostalgic to walk into this place like the first time I fell in love with books. I did end up spending more than I expected and that is just very typical of me when I go into a bookstore that is as amazing as this one.

I like hanging out and browsing but always hard to decide what to buy because so much to pick from but yet book that have technical help I can watch YouTube videos or even recipes can be found online for free. So for I try to support brick and mortar so I buy books for the kids or sci-fi/fantasy fiction.

A staff member (she may have been a manager, I’m not sure) went out of her way to stock more Funko pops when I only asked her where they are located in the store. She happened to bring out two I was very excited to buy for my collection. Incredibly great first time experience at this location.

One of the best bookstores in michigan... a great place read, relax and shop... a nice Starbucks ... although they dont process Starbucks cards or apply points... 5 stars!!!

They have always been my provider of books, usually greeting me with courtesy, and providing assistance in finding whatever subject I am interested in. The atmosphere is always wonderful and relaxing!

This is my favorite barnes and noble, the staff are always friendly! they recently have had a lot of popular books bogo 50% which is a pretty good deal.

Great bookstore if youre looking to purchase some used books. The more recently published books they sell are often a little bit expensive, but I would still give it a 4.5 stars if I could because sometimes its worth the money.

Ive loved this bookstore since high school. Great staff, safety measures in place. Felt very comfortable shopping when I had to get a book for my sons report.

I was purchasing gift cards there on 12-16-20 around 1:30pm.There was a very long line but the manager brought help at the registers and was very good at placing people in certain lines to get it moving. He encountered a very rude irritated customer that started yelling at him but the manager did an awesome job handling the situation. I wish I got the managers name!

This Barnes & Noble has a really great selection of movies (I just wish that there was a bigger selection of 4K UHD Blu-Ray movies)! The Starbucks inside is really nice and there’s a great selection of Wizarding World (Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts) collectibles, movies, books, and merchandise. This is a really nice B&N store with great service!

This is one of the few stores with a used book section. They have a wide variety of products (music, books, games, etc) to browse through.

Havent been here since Pandemic. The store was clean, stocked, busy in afternoon, but not overcrowded. Must wear masks. Very Covid alert and very clean conditions.

This is such a strangely large barnes & noble but the staff are lovely, the books are lovely. Dude idk what you want me to say --- its a pretty standard chain bookstore.

This is our family chill place, something for everyone. The used book section is like finding a field of 4 leaf clovers, tons of finds that make a membership with 10% off a book lovers best friend. Beware though: the cafe service is spotty. Sometimes you stand there for a good 10 min clearing your throat and saying hello before the employee takes off their headphones and comes out of the back room. Maybe a bell?

Only real book store left in this part of town and its a big roomy barn of a book store.

This is my favorite B&N. The in-store selection is really good. They also have a great used book section. The staff has always been helpful and friendly offering me help, a basket, even ordering books to the store they dont have on stock so I can see it in person before deciding if I want it. I always recommend this location to people.

With Borders gone the way of the Dodo Barnes & Noble is the only chain in town for books. But they also have a surprisingly decent selection of board games, at least compared to bigger stores. Little pricey though.

I love Barnes & Noble. It has an excellent selection of magazines and books. Its a great place to sit and relax especially in a few of your comfortable chairs throughout, while reviewing and deciding your purchases. Especially like Starbucks where you can relax and have special beverage and a pastry. Also important is the quality of your personnel who are friendly, helpful!!

I have a hard time reading at home so I enjoy coming here. Wonderful atmosphere for reading for multiple hours. The staff is also friendly and hard working.

At this point, you probably know whether or not you want to go to a Barnes & Noble. The reason to go to THIS Barnes & Noble rather than one which might be closer to you is because this is the only one in the area with the used section, where you can roll the proverbial dice and maybe find an additional bit of treasure for very little additional cash. This and a couple other nearby stores make it easy for me to find an excuse to make the longer trip to come to this location.

Noble is kinda a jerk; but Barnes makes up for that in spades. Big selection helpful folks.

Wonderful large store. Yes Amazon is cheaper and has a better return policy, but this is a local brick and mortar store. People working here are neighbors and are very friendly and helpful. Sad to see local book stores close. Support your local stores!!

My husband and my daughter took me here on Mothers Day. The store was clean and organized and had WAY more product than the B&N thats closer to my home. I looked at purchasing a tablet/glowlight and the girl working the counter was VERY friendly, helpful AND pleasant. I may drive out of my way to go to this store from now on.

Friendly faces the moment you walk in the door. I was greeted with a warm hello from an associate and an offer of assistance to locate any items within the store. Check out the used book area, lots of great deals on those shelves.

Every Barnes and Noble location deserves 5 stars. Cashier was really nice when checking out. Also I asked for support to find a book, I wasnt lucky to get it but I was able to find more options. Kids area was nice and better than other locations. I would come back soon next time I will be at Auburn Hills area.

Been going to this location for over 20 years. Always a decent new and used book selection as well as magazine selection. Easy to park, so never an issue there.What a shame they do not offer a free sign up for their book club. Were they to offer such, I bet they would see an increase in traffic.

It is great that we still have book stores around... This one needs to drop rock music and play some classical or jazz, though...

This place feels like it exists in a separate pocket reality in the strangest, most delightful way. the staff is very nice despite the fact that a lot of people come in here just to aimlessly wander around and look at books but like?? can you blame them????

Love this store in Rochester Hills. Large selection, ALWAYS friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of books, magazines and music. The only negative is not having unlimited time to spend there. I go as often as I can.

They have a amazing selection of books to select from. They even have a used book area. The place is open and you do not feel squished. The associates are always willing to help on stuff. My only real complaint is that the parking lot needs better lighting at night.

I love this B&N, the building is large and well designed with plenty of multi level platforms and reading nooks. Plenty of parking during busy times, and built in Starbucks makes it one stop shop. I really enjoy how they split off the different sections into cute themed places, takes you back to childhood at the library.

The Rochester store is huge. It was busy with a childrens event. However, I was greeted upon entering and offered assistance if needed. Displays were attractive and I found several selections in minutes.There wasnt any wait time to check out. Cashier was friendly and efficient! Love this location and look forward to a return visit when I have more time to browse.

Almost always can find what Im looking for. Relaxing place. Love being able to order what is not in stock in store. We are weekly customers and have been for years.

This is a GREAT place for books. You can also get a coffee there. They even have educational toys for kids.
