Wife took car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Was first in for a scheduled appointment. After 2 hours, she was told oil change was done but tires were at 60% wear so wouldn’t rotate and tires should be replaced with estimate provided. She declined the tire replacement and took the car.The oil indicator light was not reset. It was an easy google search and I reset it, but why should I have to do that?Priced the exact tires quoted at 40% less, installed.To be fair, I usually have a positive experience at this dealer. Called service manager to discuss before posting a review. Never received a call back.

We broke down on I-90 and we’re towed to BMW of Rochester. Jeff know we were coming and waited, helped us find a hotel and rental car for the next day. He made arrangements for parts and had our car back on the road . He truly saved our trip and we were able to spend the weekend in Boston with our granddaughter and pick up our car on Monday. Jeff and the dealership were a real help.

I spoke with the parts department and got a quote for my new run flat tires. I booked my appointment on line. Very easy. I received confirmation. I dropped my car off the night before my appointment. The work on my car was completed by 4:00. I picked up my car and easily checked out. This is a great place and very nice people working there. Totally satisfied!!!!

Very poor service, Got lied to about our warranty, had to contact our sales person in Albany to even get help. Then they set an appointment for a day they cannot give us a car to replace our. They want our in at 7pm but the appointment is the next day. What you want us to walk home? Its a 30 miles walk. Not to mention the last time we took it in for service on the S.O.S. light it took them 10 days to fix it and had to bring it in twice for the same problem. VERY poor service department. Almost willing to drive the 4 hours to albany for better quality work and attitude from the staff.

Very pleased with the service I received at BMW of Rochester. First of all car was taken in at time of service appointment and finished approx. 2 hours before they estimated. Additionally, there were a few items that needed attention but wouldnt fail inspection. I was not pressured to have them attended to immediately. In fact, Kyle, our service rep. went through each point an explained what the situation was with each item. We decided to do all but one since the vehicle was already there. The item we didnt have done now Kyle said was something that could wait but should eventually be done (valve cover gasket replacement) as the engine sits at about a 30 degree tilt and would eventually be leaking oil.We were very pleased with the service, attention and courteousness we were treated to by Rochester BMW.

BMW of Rochester is the strongest BMW dealership anywhere in the region. Having now purchased three vehicles from them over a five-year period, weve been exceptionally pleased with both their sales and service operations. Most recently we were very ably assisted by Connor Seweryn who made the process of trading for a new vehicle incredibly smooth and seamless. Everything was taken care of via phone and online except for bringing in our vehicle and picking up the new one, which took only an hour and a half, including orientation to the features of the new vehicle, syncing phones, etc. Couldnt be happier with the new car or our experience.

While driving on the Thruway, my dash display went completely blank. I could not see/hear signal lights, speed, gas tank, anything! I was scared to death, as I had no idea if my breaks would work…… I called BMW from my cell phone and drove it directly there. Dave, from BMW of Rochester was so kind and compassionate. He took my car right in as an emergency, ran diagnostics the following day, and I got my car back safely within 2 days. The computer had to be reset. Great service, nice people!

We brought our car to the dealership for inspection and oil change. We arrived and people were congenial but not overly welcoming. I felt like I was in a cattle herd. When we finally were able to sit with a service writer, he mentioned that the brake fluid service was recommended- we asked about that service as we were not familiar with why it was necessary and the response we received was regarding the service writer’s racing experience and how it had to be done when racing. While I appreciate the capabilities that the bmw engines have, I drive an X5 and take my family places, get groceries, go to appointments, etc- we are not racing our vehicle: it would’ve been better received if the service was explained from a more practical perspective. We did decide to authorize the recommended service but I still don’t understand the necessity of it:When we picked up our vehicle, nobody reviewed the service done or any of the multi point inspection form. The report was attached but printed in black and white so we could not identify any areas of concern because everything was the same color. When we asked the service writer about the report he told us it would’ve been easier to understand if it was in color and quickly read and said everything looked good on the car. Finally, my vehicle front floor and backseat floors were vacuumed but not the very back and it was not washed. Honestly, I was expecting a full vacuum and wash as I have received in the past especially since we paid for an additional service. If the dealership wants customers to return to them for service on the vehicles they buy from them, perhaps pay better attention to the customers as everyday hardworking people who work just as hard to be able to drive a nice vehicle. And, if you want people to buy another vehicle from the dealership, consider how the past customers are weighing the service well after the sale when considering where to buy their next car.

I started my search back in 2019 with Mitch. He is absolutely amazing. He was attentive, personalized the experience and made sure I got everything I was looking for. A few days ago I reached out to see if he could help me out again. He remembered me and exactly what I was looking for. WOW! 2 years went by and remembered who I was. Amazing.I test drove the 330i and fell in love. The feedback I have is to set proper time expectations. I know buying a car is a longer process. They started the paper work before I got there which hopefully saved some time, but I still spent about 3-4 hours there when they said it would take about an hour…The staff is great, attentive, helpful and truly work as a team. We did not buy our new truck by walking into the dealership, found it online about 100 miles away Tyler had it transferred from another West Herr dealership in Buffalo, he had it ready to go when we walked in and then did all the paperwork for us. Kyle was able to get my car in for service right away when I got to the dealership, despite not able to book any appointments both through the phone and online. Even though he was so busy, he was able to greet me and managed to move a couple cars that were ahead of me. He contacted the shuttle service and it was there in less than 10 minutes. Kyle was very friendly and explained in details of what needed to be done with my car and what exactly he and his team did when servicing my car. Him and his team were very professional and helpful. Michael from Sales made the arrangement for me to see Kyle as I had an emegency travel and the service light came up 2 days before my travel date, and I wasnt able to book any appointments due to the high volume appointments that they had.

I went there with my 08 BMW which has a few issues but nothing too crazy and I asked them to check it out and they didn’t check a few of the things that I wanted them to as well as the prices for the things that they need to be done were outrageous but that’s understandable. Also Concerned about them doing the check because they said I needed a part that I just replaced about two weeks ago when my vehicle was misfiring and I was having no issues.

The only reason this isn’t a five is because my car isn’t a BMW, although I bought it here, so they didn’t have a part I needed. So I had a long wait. However, the staff is fast, efficient, attentive, and pleasant. The waiting room is very comfortable, although it would be nice if they had a pop and a snack machine. The women’s bathroom was clean, however, they need to replace the facet or sink. All-in-all, I would recommend this dealership.

Service manager lied about exhaust repair. A simple flange needed replacing but manager said it was a cracked exhaust and needed to replace whole unit. I received a $8000 quote when it only took $85 to actually fix issue. Please be careful and ask for full details on any repair at this service center.

Tyler goes above and beyond what a normal car salesman does to make sure not only do you get the best price possible for your vehicle, but you get exactly the vehicle you want and don’t sacrifice any features, packages, and colors that you want your new car to have. I just bought a brand-new BMW X3 plug-in hybrid (BMW X30e) in metallic black, oyster leather seats, with the full executive package. This vehicle was not available on the BMW of Rochester lot nor could it still be ordered on the BMW website. My service advisor David was courteous and friendly. However, when I picked up my X1 which has light tan interior there were dirt marks on my dash and in both my front seats. I keep my car VERY clean and it was obvious my car had been driven around. Also, I had a quarter tank of gas when I dropped it off. It was on E when I picked it up. Lastly, all of my seat settings and mirrors had been changed and not put back. Overall the work had been completed but Im not thrilled about the service.

This is the fifth BMW I have bought over the last 50 years starting with a 2002 in 1969 and the 530i x-drive we bought from BMW of Rochester replaces a 1998 528i with over 250,000 miles. When we decided to replace it we looked at several cars including a 2 year old 530i and then decided to see how a new one rode. Todd was very cooperative in arranging for us to drive three different versions of the 530 so we could see the difference between the 18 and 19 inch wheels and we decided we liked the one with 18 wheels. This was the first time that I have leased a vehicle and Todd and the General Manager Harley Lentola were able to explain my questions about the terms and reach an acceptable offer. The only area that might be improved is that the various service and vehicle protection plans were not discussed until we came to pick up the car. I would prefer to have that information at the time we agreed on the purchase so we could consider it for a day or two before we made a decision.

I always go to BMW for my vehicle but this last visit I was too happy. I shared with them my battery was low in my key 🔑 Just for their info Incase the car didn’t start as quickly. I was told they would take of it for me.. they didn’t 🤨 That super major but I also told them my light was on to fill my Coolant but coolant was full so it must’ve been a sensor. They told me my coolant was ok and full didn’t need to worry about it but they left the light on smh. So now I have to reschedule another Appt to get that turned off. I don’t live close and I have to miss work to bring and pick up my car so I wish EVERYTHING was tooken care of while I was there.

I have made multiple transactions with this dealership and I can definitely say that this is a great place to buy a BMW; Pricing is as straightforward as can be and I highly recommend Connor, a car dealer whos not there to simply sell you a product, but walk you through it, answer any questions you may have, and by the end get you a great price. Also, the staff are very nice and it was a pleasant experience to just be inside the dealership; It did not feel like a chore to buy a car here, unlike some other dealerships I wont name.10/10 Highly Recommend.

The service at Rochester West Herr is top-notch. Repair needs are accurately diagnosed. With a small amount of planning, there is always a loaner car. The service team, understanding that I live 2 hours away has always gone above and beyond to help minimize trips to the dealership. They are personable, friendly and I have not experienced over-sell.

This is my third BMW that I have leased thru BMW of Rochester. It is always a pleasure doing business with this dealership. The sales people care and will do everything they can to get you the best deal. In my case they dealer traded a car all the way from Topeka Kansas just to make me happy. The finance guy was great as well. Clearly explaining my options and being personal the whole time. Then the tech guy wrapped everything up showing me the new features on my new 540i. This dealership is the best hands down ! Please go visit them and see for yourself .

Some of the best customer service I’ve ever had. All of the staff is friendly and always very accommodating. They can take the stress and headache of car repairs and turn it into a great experience always putting the owner of the vehicle first making sure they are fully involved with what needs to be done.
